Wow wow wow is all I can say. This is the 2nd time for us at Omega for our Anniversary and it didn’t disappoint. This time we had the new Container Cabin. It has everything you need. The views from up there are spectacular from the huge bedroom window, lounge, kitchen, jacuzzi and bathroom. Flocks of little birds zoom past you so close you can hear their wings. I love love the decor, everything is well thought of and placed. I was worried there was no fireplace inside as it was a pretty cool weekend but I needn’t of, the cabin is lovely and warm all day and night. And oh my lord the peace and tranquility is incredible. If you want peace, romance or even to recuperate this is your place. We waited a while but it was so worth it. Well done Omega Team.

WOW WOW WOW! we were there for our Honeymoon this past weekend in the Blue Cabin and the place exceeded all the expectations, welcomed with a JC le Roux on ice while chilling day and night in the jacuzzi with the breathtaking view- like my husband said "Its a TV you can buy" Thanks Omega team! We booked a two day mid-week breakaway in the Container Cabin at Omega Luxury Retreat Administration: 5 star My SMS enquiry for availability was responded to in less than 6 minutes and I appreciated the positive feedback and detailed reply outlining the facilities.  Within 10 minutes later, I received my proforma invoices with banking details.   For an environment that does not guarantee cell phone reception, this was impressive. Welcome:  4 stars Upon our arrival at first, we were some what fluttered since the welcome comprised of open skies and scenery, and we passed 4 chalets without spotting a reception office to check in.  Fortunately, I spotted a number for Jackie on the internet and voila, there was a human connection.  Personally, I failed to comply with the check-in details online in advance, since full details of the second primary guest was required, including diet type. After a U-turn, we met Jackie at the freedom statue which has become a significant centre point of reference for Omega Cabins.  The welcome was warm and the smile even brighter, and we received directions to access our container cabin.  No paper work, wonderful bliss. Accommodation:  4 stars I was blown away by the décor of our coral red container cabin. From the coral floor screed with a marbled like texture to the steaming jacuzzi, secured under cover to an inviting bathroom with open window showers.  The design of the space maximizes surrounding views.  The braai on the patio area was a welcomed bonus. The linen, pillows and towels are of supreme quality and the gowns made you feel like royalty.  Given that there was snow on the Lesotho mountains, the extra comforter was used to snuggle up on the floating hammock / day bed. I believe, although it was mentioned that the cabin is insulated, it was fairly cold inside and the gas heater didn’t heat up the place (hence my 4 rating). Grateful for hot showers (even though the one shower had the hot and cold water mixed up) The kitchen was well equipped, with cutlery, stylish crockery and a braai pan, with braai thongs, even some olive oil, spices and dish detergent.  The hot chocolate was a bonus. Extra special care was taken with a welcome gift on ice, yes bubbly, and chocolates to melt the heart. Thank you for the memories made, and imprinted in my mind forever.

Excellent place for a relaxing breakaway. Great views of the Eastern Free State and Lesotho Mountains.

We went for my birthday and received a happy birthday sign and complementary champaign, the room has EVERYTHING you need, blankets, coffee, hot chocolate & even braai spice !! The best accommodation, view and service !! Will be back each year !! Thank you Omega !!

Omega is unsurpassed for breathtaking mountain views. Tranquility like I have not experienced in ages. The early morning views from the jacuzzi was just what the doctor ordered.

My husband and I stayed in the Red Deluxe Cabin recently, and it was absolutely amazing! The view is to die for, and the jacuzzi is such a nice touch to quickly shift into relaxation mode. Highly recommended!

Loved everything about it. It is secluded.All the privacy, all the serenity. You have magnificent views of the Lesotho mountains and a lovely Jacuzzi to chill in while you reconnecting with nature. The cabin has everything you might need so there really is no need for you to drive out for the duration of the stay. Will definitely be coming back.

5 star cabin set in 5 star scenery! The cabin is well equipped, spotlessly clean, has great amenities and is fairly well maintained, as are the grounds. We recieved the warmest welcome and most fantastic friendly service from Jack, the property Manager. He is a true asset to the establishment and will make your stay even more pleasant. We travel a lot and I would rate him as one of the top hosts we have encountered! The decks are screened for privacy and have beautiful views of the Lesotho mountains. We look forward to returning in the future.

It is one of the most beautiful places in the mountains facing Lesotho ,rooms are excellent just bring an off road capable car in case it rains the road is a bit rocky

My husband and I just spent our 1st wedding anniversary at Omega and it could not have been more perfect. The cabin, the views, the friendliness of the manager and helpfulness of the owners was just incredible. It really explains why you have to book so far in advance, we can not wait to go back to what can only be explained as heaven on earth!

Beautiful views! Could never get tired of that stunning sight of mountains, rivers and trees. Felt so connected to nature. I loved being able to go for a hike right from the patio. It was a wonderful getaway. And the jacuzzi is such a treat
