Service is exceptional. Everyone is so friendly. Eluan (the manager) accommodates all your needs, he is literally a call away. The rooms are cozy and the food is delicious! Great place for the location.

This is a must stop when in the are. The friendly staff welcome you from the moment you open the door. During winter, the fireplace in every area makes the stay awesome. The food is wow, and the bar is well stocked, and even a wine seller to enjoy. Of the restaurant and bar is anything to judge by then the rooms will be great.

The room was so clean and felt so homely. Unlimited internet connection meant that i was able to catch-up on work uninterrupted. The nights were quite and peaceful. They provide an electric blanket and additional blankets if required. A tea/coffee facility in your room and there are a few dstv channels that you can watch. The water was very nice and hot. Now to top it all off was the food😩πŸ”₯πŸ”₯, hats off to that chef, every meal was just exquisite. Thank you so much for making our stay pleasant.

Lovely historical venue. Loved the dinners with great service. Got to buy better cherries there than at the festival as well as the liqueur etc which we could not find at the festival. Worth a visit and I enjoyed the bobotie.

Beautiful quaint little Inn, tucked away on the back street in Fouriesburg. Stunning gardens and rooms with an absolutely amazing kitchen. Staff are super friendly too. Highly recommended when traveling in the area or as a base for traveling into Lesotho.

We had a lovely stay as an Adventure group and really enjoyed the evening with Chef Markus there. The Hotel was build in 1892 and is one, so if you never stayed here, please do so. We had a good solid breakfast the next morning before hitting the road with the motorcycles. Well done on the renovations so far Renè!

As regular visitors to Fouriesburg Country Inn, we live in Clarens, we have always enjoyed either breakfast or a weekend lunch at this restaurant. We referred guests (from Jnb) for Sunday lunch a while back and they expressed disappointment - they claimed the food was Blah. We were surprised ! Sunday 21st May, 6 of us from Clarens, eagerly anticipating a tasty lunch had a similar experience. Very disappointing. Actually we were tempted to leave without paying but as times are tough we settled our bill with heavy hearts. We did complain but it seemed glossed over.

Staff friendly but room very hot and stuffy. The wife and I left in the morning full insect bites . We definifely wont be staying here again.

The place is a hidden gem. The staff are very friendly and willing to go the extra mile. It's a cosy homely environment. The food is the cherry on top and mouth watering. I'll be back to this side of town just for your hospitality and great food. I love your interior decor especially the mirrors and frames please share who designed for you.

We went for lunch during the new year's holidays and it was a bit busy. Staff were attentitive and friendly but very busy. The food took a very long time to be prepared but it was excellent and super. Great variety. I was missing some background music. This is a lovely old hotel that was restored to its previous charm. Great food.. great asset to an almost forgotten town..

For a four star hotel it could be better, I had Hake for dinner and it was a bit overcooked, also one of our group was disappointed with the ribs she ordered. Rooms are a bit dated but ok although my electric blanket was not working and the water pressure in the shower was almost non existent. breakfasts did not live up to the cost charged.

Shower door broken Hot water tap in shower not working properly _ impossible to shower because once you open the cold water the tiny hotwater flow disappears. Toilet runs water non stop down the drain. Kettle and cups were hidden in a closet _ only discovered it on are departure. My last stay was there in 2019 and then there was also no hot water to take an early morning shower before our departure. Sorry but for the amount paid for me and my wife (R1500 plus for the one night) it's very disappointing. Don't expect to see me soon again.

From the moment we arrived, I was struck by the truly friendly staff, exceptional food, cleanliness of the room and the the Inn as a whole. The grounds and gardens are immaculate. Well done to the whole team, I can certainly recommend. Thank you, #Chris2's Old but not stupid.
