Lovely restaurant with great tasting food and nice service. Once we sat down we were promptly attended to, ordering the beef and duck. The food came out relatively quickly and was extremely delicious. The beef was nice and soft and the duck was full of flavour. We also ordered the tiramisu for dessert and the blackcurrant jam goes perfectly with the sweet tiramisu. Definitely a place to visit when in Dijon!

Food is nice and not too expensive considering the restaurant location. Staff did not try to communicate with us in another language then french as we did not speak french, they just kept replying with full sentences in french we were unable to understand. When i got the bill and gave them a tip they entered double the tip amount which i found od but may be an misunderstanding from their part, got it correcter though.

A trap for tourists. Very kid-unfriendly, non-flexible, and very slow service even though it was empty already around 20:00. The waiters were talking to each other and not willing to work. Mediocre food, sad taste, bad experience. I give 1 star because I can not give 0… Definitively a “no go”!

Friendly staff, great value for our food, good menu and portions, wonderful location.

We went here yesterday for dinner. We weren't really hungry so we only had wine and a main course. We both really liked the food (beauf and lasagne) and it's nicely decorated. Really friendly staff that advised well on what to eat/drink, they spoke English and they were very attentive. I'm almost sad that we weren't more hungry so we could've tried more of the delicious food.

Great food, incredible location, the waiters weren't attentive but they were very busy so no fault of theirs.

Like the snails, but the stewed beef is too tough. The waitresses are so busy with idk what. We needed to wait for so long to make every single request. Considering the price, I think something can definitely be improved.

Good place to stop for a break during the visit of Dijon

We spontaneously stopped by at CaféGourmand. The waitress found a table for us even without booking in advance. She made a great effort to speak English with us and we felt very welcomed. The prices are rather high, but in line with the restaurants in the city centre of Dijon and the quality as well as the view are very good (for three small starter, a bottle of water and a desert we ended up paying 35€). The staff is friendly, the furnishing is stylish and the bathrooms are clean. Overall a very positive experience.

Nice location at the place de la liberation. The food is overpriced and the portions small. The kids choice of chicken with tagliatelle or hash with tagliatelle isn’t great. The pasta was plain and the chicken tasted old, the portion was tiny and not enough for a 5 and 10 yr old. Overall nice location but there are other restaurants that on that place and around that might be the better option.

Lovely location, especially in the evening. The bœuf bouguingnon was excellent.

Nice location overlooking the Place de la Libération large open square. You are paying for the view. I had beer Grimbergen Ambree sweet and tasty beer. Entree was a lentil and beet salad. Main course was Bourguignon beef cooked local style with pasta. Where else to eat beef burgundy but in Burgundy ? Not the cheapest place but great service, great food for the price and well rated in Dijon. Great portions.

Lots of restaurants to choose from in the heart of Dijon but because of its great location on the Place de la Liberation and a very friendly welcome by a waitress we selected this restaurant for dinner From the menu we selected a set 3 course Menu Bourguignon, a lentil salad and a mixed cheese platter Service was efficient and food served was nicely presented and with excellent taste Definitely a place for us to return when next in Dijon and highly recommended for those after a nice and relaxing culinary experience

Nice restaurant-bar. Had a Sunday dinner including: 2 cheeses, butternut squash soup - which were very very good. Had to try the Boeuf bourguignon, which was ok, nothing too impressive, but I assume that this is how it's done here. Creme brûlée was also quite good and so did the coffee. Service is a bit lacking, but ok overall.

Good service, great location on the square - very tasty food everyone enjoyed their dishes. Was impressed with portions for smaller menu and price point was great! Will visit again - we ate outside and enjoyed the wonderful views of the palace. Only downside and no-fault of the restaurant - nearby smokers ended up ruining our meal. Wish France would get the 411 on second hand smoke - is not a great taste with beef bourgignon and chicken Caesar salad.
