The bad reviews could have made sense a while ago but this place now cannot receive less than 4 stars at least. I had there one of the best meals I ever had in my life. Everything was amazing, entrée, main and dessert. The wine I ordered was on the lower end of the price range but was excellent. The girl taking the orders (in a yellow tshirt) did look impatient /upset but she might have been having a bad day, because I was services by 3 or 4 different people and they all were extremely polite and kind. Kept coming back to ask if I needed anything etc, and the place was packed. Again, the food was amazing, you can go there without thinking twice, it’s very likely that you you will have a great experience there.

I was disappointed when I only saw 3 viable vegetarian options in this "luxurious " restaurant. Unfortunately, the wok was not what I had expected so I found myself ordering fries, so I could eat a bit. The Prices of the dishes alone were so high it made me anxious. The waitresses were great and understanding since there was a problem in the kitchen. Still, we waited 2 hours for one dish and one desert each. Edit: my coffee was not, as I requested it to be, a hazelnut flavoured coffee.

Food was delicious. We have the steak, a burger and chicken spring rolls, all were cooked perfectly and came in good time. Wine list was extensive with pairings and very nice cocktails too… would try again when back in Dijon.

Perfecto, food was Moorish, drinks on point, and the staff steal the show with their professionalism and attentiveness. A must visit for sure.

Our best dining experience in France. Beautiful atmosphere, amazing food, and tremendous cocktails. Our server was very kind and generous. If you love great food & drink check this place out.

The veal liver I had in a rainy afternoon is very unforgettable. Was very quiet even sit next to pedestrian. Felt as if I was sitting in the woods and was enjoying some very fresh food. The liver was cooked with some sweet sauce, contrasting and enhancing the savoury of the liver itself and the savoury of beer 🍺. Risottos and beef steak were nice too.

We stumbled on this restaurant while looking for a place to dine and were quite pleased with it. It was fairly busy and we dined outside ordering a set meal where one could select the starters and mains from amongst 4 options and a dessert out of 3. I enjoyed the chicken liver, the beef and the Burgundy cake paired with a nice . Beaujolais. The service was friendly and the atmosphere quite lively.

Lovely food, not a great deal of choice for Gluten Free but they did have 'some' options which is more than most in France.

After dragging ourselves all over town to find a dinner spot on this holiday weekend, we stumbled into Speakeasy on our FOURTH attempt. Although the spot was packed, we were greeted immediately and sat without wait. The food was amazing. Many of the dishes are typical Burgundian finds, but also some others with a bit of fusion. The hostess/waitresses spoke flawless english and the food came out much faster than expected. And let me tell ya, it was phenomenal. We tried the escargots, beef tartar, entrecote and thr taikki tuna. All amazing and very well plated. In some parts of the world, I imagine food this good to be forbidden. So next time you're hungry and looking for a hassle free french / local nice dining experience, stop by Speakeasy!

Was only looking for a sandwich fortunately stopped here and had 2 plates of lovely lunch. The risotto was delicious- teeny bit overcooked and the scallops could have come off pan sooner but it really tasted so truffly delicious 😋 And dog friendly outside

Spent a lovely evening here. Started out with a Spritz Bourguignon on the terrace then we headed indoors for a very tasty meal (forget the café gourmand, they do a champagne gourmand and a gin and tonic gourmand!). Good atmosphere, lovely decor, great food.

This restaurant used to be one of the best places in Dijon. Now it became one of the worst. Bad food, cold food, not served at the same time (15 minutes or more later) for all guests, used covid masks on the floor, and so on, the list of complaints would be too long for this post! Only positive side is that the waiters and waitress’s did their best to smooth things. And the wine was good. Forget this place.

Great service, very friendly staff, got a nice main dish for less than 20€ and got tempted by dessert because they simply looked too good! Was a gamble but my friends and I don't regret it a single bit

Quick and kind service! The restaurant is nice in and outside as well the daily menu for 24.-€ looks and taste really good! Grate price, grate performance! Well done 👍👍👍 (the WC is really unique 😀 An extra star for that kind touch 🤗)

Despite the name, this place is not a shady bar but an elegant Victorian Era-style salon with red velvet furniture. The food was delicious and the wait staff friendly. We had the entrecôte and the risotto, followed by a café gourmand for dessert. I'd go there again.

Top evening. Friendly and very competent manager and staff. Great food. Nice setting. Perfect ambiance. Don't miss this when in Dijon.

You have to order everything 3-4 times. The truffle risotto didn't contain any truffles, the scallops where undercooked the chicken overcooked and the wing dessert was served The waiters where nice and gave a glass of champagne as excuse which was appreciated but still the dinner took around 4h and we didn't order anything special.
