In a good place, but there is no crowd of tourists. A lot of residents of Dijon. Menu in the form of a proposal of the day. Delicious in good price. Regional dishes and good winę.

We had our last meal in Burgundy here and it was fantastic. The owner was super nice and we enjoyed a few traditional Burgundian dishes such as Coq au vin and oeufs en meurette. There was also a gingerbread creme brûlée on the menu and it was light and creamy. Perfect place to try local cuisine! Thank you!

A highly recommended place for people looking for authentic food from the region. The restaurant seems a bit expensive but the food portions are enormous, definitely worth the price. I'd recommend you to take the Poulet Gaston ! The owner is super nice, he explained about the different dishes. Would return for sure!

This is a quaint and lovely little restaurant, very traditional French in style and atmosphere. It's hidden on a side street of the city center in Dijon, so it's usually calm appart from the few who are either locals or have this recommended to them. The food itself is delicious! Portions are a good size to be able to go through a 2 course meal with no problem at all. Highly recommended for a very traditional meal.

Stayed in Dijon for two days and this place had the best food. Coq au vin was delicious and the service was great!

Great value, delicious food. Recommend the escargots, ouefs en meurette, supreme de poulet facon Madame Gaston Gerard, and creme brulee. Only critique is that the chicken was a bit dry (overcooked) but the sauce was very forgiving. 😊🤤

Adorable little restaurant just around the corner from the main square and a world away. It's like a small, country cafe tucked away in a quiet square. They do have great escargot (very large, almost couldn't get one out of the shell) but not the "greatest ever" unless it's one of your first times. They have two exceptional chicken dishes, one with a mustard sauce and traditional coq au vin. Can't speak for other dishes but they looked great coming out of the kitchen. We sat at that little 2-top you see in the 1st photo. Great wines at great prices (thankfully!). Best part is the lightning service. That's the advantage of a small place, personal service.

My sister and I had a delightful meal at Bouchon du Palais tonight. I feel confident I would have enjoyed anything I ordered, but was grateful for Charles’ enthusiastic guidance — and for his help when I covered myself in butter like a true escargots newb. Make a reservation so you don’t miss out on this charming spot with excellent cuisine of burgundy.

Just ate there tonight, read reviews on line and it is just as good as they say. Traditional burgundy food, excellent quality, not expensive. The co-owner runs the small ding room, very friendly and helpful. It is small so make reservations. I highly recommend this restaurant!

Super restaurant with traditional regional cuisine in a cosy setting. Loved the whole experience

Fantastic off-the-tourist-path spot for typical local cuisine; the father-son owner duo has managed and cooked for 22 years, so you know you’ve stumbled upon a good thing.

Visited it on my way to ski with full family of 4 for a second year. Real traditional French food for a fair price as it used to be 20 years ago. Portions are huge and delicious. Staff are friendly and attentive. A hidden pearl worthwhile to be found.

Absolutely one of the best finds of our holiday. We sat outside and love d the whole experience, whilst not being glamorous it's still fabulous, food was amazing, delicious and everything that we wanted from an authentic French eaterie. Service was amazing too, not great at speaking English but so so helpful and charming, nothing was too much effort. We genuinely loved every moment here and every mouthful

Really wanted to go, but it was not open as stated for Saturday lunch. A few disappointed people were waiting, but it was never opened. Please fix your hours or post when you will be closed 🔐

Loved this little restaurant hidden on a small road off the Place de la Libération. The food was very tasty, hearty local fare, reasonably priced with generous portions - we only had room to share a single dessert. The local wine was excellent. The interior was "shabby chic" - very relaxed and comfortable with attractive pictures and maps on the walls. Our waiter was friendly, helpful and spoke enough English. We wanted to go back but they close on Saturday evening - taking care of the staff is often a sign of a very good restaurant.

Burgundy is notorious for good eating but 8 months later I still recall the sweet tang of those oeufs en meurette. They hit the spot after a day's walk around the vineyards and Dijon! Friendly, reasonably priced restaurant.

Amazing meal! Favourite was the eggs in wine sauce - incredible. Wonderful and warm service! Highly recommend for a nice, home cooked burgundy meal.
