This once private mansion belonged to the Pouffier family, located at Rue Chaudronnerie (translates to Boiler Street in English), who were wealthy boilermakers. The interesting façades of this building really stand out with Cariatides (sculpted female figures serve as architectural support with entabulature on her head) and Atlanteans (male version of Cariatides). The flowery cauldron of the Pouffiers' family emblem is still visible on the façade. It's a listed historic monument in Dijon and is now a restaurant. It's easy to find as it's very unique in style and a rare architectural design still seen today in Europe with the usage of Cariatides and Atlanteans as decorative work on façades. Absolutely worth visiting and even have dinner inside the restaurant that now occupies the building. Just stunning!

We made reservations for our large party and the table was ready. The set menu was simple with a choice of 2 or 3 plates. We had kids in our group and we were able to split meals to make it work. They were kind enough to split the meals for us. Everything was delicious. The lunch staff were very attentive and appeared to be all women. It was heartening to see a woman chef artfully prepare our meals.

The most amazing and unique meal I've ever had. I went for dinner for my birthday with family. The menu is an 8-course pre-fixe with a variety of market-fresh modernized French food, and it is delicious. I tried several things I would normally never order (beef tongue and veal sweetbread) and greatly enjoyed them. Every dish was small but artfully plated and full of flavor. The wine was delightful, and the dessert was out of this world! Also, they were very accommodating when we informed them that I had an allergy to seafood, they swapped certain menu items so I could enjoy all eight courses. If you are in Dijon don't miss this experience!

This was a terrific two and a half hour experience for me. There is a fixed menu with an optional wine pairing (which I ordered). The seven courses (plus two amuse bouche and a small pastry at the end) were all delicious and the wines were on point. Don't miss this!
