The museum is not very big, but still is nice to visit. If you are from EU u don't need to pay for the entrance, but even if you are not they don't ask for an ID to prove it. The garden around actually it is botanical garden and very nice for walk and enjoy the smell of the plants, flowers. There are a lot of different types

Free entry, was bigger than I'd expected (took me half an hour to see everything and take some photos), nothing on the walls in English, but as most of the exhibits are fossils and stuffed animals, it's not really necessary. It's always a shame to see animals killed for display purposes, but I assume these are all quite old (but well preserved of course). Some interesting animals on display, especially the marine life. Employee at the main desk was very welcoming. Next to a nice park. Recommended activity while in Dijon.

Better places to visit in Dijon. Nice for a quick stop during bad weather or to cool off in the cellars.

We arrived 30 minutes before closing time yet the staff at the entrance insisted we visited the museum. Must say that the staff were friendly and attentive 💯. The entry is free and the exhibition very interesting to visit, a great compliment to the botanical gardens. A very much recommended experience for all.

Free museum in a spacious garden park with beautiful blooming flowers. Might be very interesting for kids. Lots of things to see but I can't tell if the animals are real or not... but surely some displays are fake.

Full of taxidermy animals, which is both creepy and very interesting. There's also a playground, very nice garden, and earth and space museum on site. All free. Fun for kids.

Small exhibit with some interesting pieces on display. And a very quaint reception clerk :) worth seeing although it could use more information.

Pretty dull. Collection of old stuffed animals from another century. Beautiful gardens and building though

Well worth a visit if visiting Dijon. Centrally located, free entry, a friendly welcome and lots of interesting exhibits. The surrounding botanical gardens are lovely and a pleasant retreat on a hot day.

Some of the taxidermy animals are lame (sad), but still kind of interesting how they have done it 200 years ago.

Small, but well done and densely packed with exhibits.

Despite it is small compared to the ones I visited, but the kindness of the staff and the organisation of the museum and the help they provided since I went with a baby, it made the place bigger than any other place I visited. The interaction with some of the sample presented were done in a nice way even as an adult I enjoyed it. The location next to the Botanical Garden made the whole trip worth every minute it took.
