Never
have
I
had
such
a
petrol
head
experience
such
as
this......out
of
the
blue
I
found
a
motorcycle
collection
(I
believe)
that
rivals
the
UK
National
Motorcycle
Museum
collection
in
a
crumbling
mansion.
I
was
completely
staggered
as
to
what
is
in
here,
starting
to
degrade
slightly
as
there
is
currently
not
much
TLC
going
on.
This
collection
needs
saving
immediately,
putting
into
a
museum
where
people
who
actually
appreciate
it
can
view
it
&
proper
maintainance
&
restoration
performed
on
the
vehicles.
Rather
than
the
coach
parties
that
turn
up
at
present
who
have
no
idea
or
respect
for
what
they
are
seeing.
This
brings
me
onto
the
stunning
aircraft
collection,
simply
amazing
&
most
rapidly
degrading
in
the
outside
environment.
All
of
these
iconic
aircraft
need
to
be
housed
in
internal
accomodation
to
stop
the
rapid
degredation
they
are
suffering.
My
damage
asessment
is
that
the
wooden
fuel
tanks
&
parts
of
the
Migs
have
already
degraded
beyond
repair.
The
external
aluminium
&
Titanium
skins
of
most
of
the
aircraft
are
salvageable.
The
ferrous
parts
of
most
of
the
aircraft
are
also
OK,
but
many
cockpit
canopies
are
rapidly
delaminating
&
degrading.
Worse
still
there
are
trees
now
growing
over
part
of
the
collection,
Causing
further
damage
to
the
external
bodywork.
All
of
this
collection
needs
rescuing
now
&
put
into
capable
hands.
As
I
understand
it
the
owner
who
put
this
collection
together
is
now
deceased
&
its
clear
things
are
going
very
wrong
with
the
management
of
these
irreplaceable
machines.
I
hope
the
collections
are
not
sold
off
into
private
hands,
but
its
clear
things
are
not
going
to
remain
like
this
for
much
longer,
with
the
current
poor
management
of
the
whole
setup.
