What an incredible place to visit if you're interested in learning more about the history of mustard. They offer two types of interactive visits. The "Découvertes" introduces you to the world of mustard, ancient techniques and let's you make your own mustard, while the "Sensations Fortes" walks you through the modern process of how mustard is made. They are offered in French and English, but reservations need to be made on their website beforehand. I participated in the "Découvertes" guided tour and loved how interactive it was. We tasted mustard seeds, ground our own mustard, received audioguides to explore parts of a museum, tasted four kinds of mustard, and watched a few cooking videos on how mustard is used by French chefs. They also gave us 2 25g jars to take home. Overall, such a great experience. Then the store itself has its own free tastings and one can spend lots of time browsing the wide selection of mustards. They have small 1€ 25g jars, 2-3€ 100g jars (perfect for carry on bags), and also 250g jars. There is also wine, olive oil, and soap sold at the store too! As one of the last family-run moutarderies left in France, it's exciting to have such a close-up experience of this amazing process. And there are plenty of trains that can take you to the town of Beaune from Dijon in 20 minutes!

When you come across Beaune and if you like mustard, you should definitely make a stop at Edmond Fallot! Make sure to book the tour ahead. We went to the historic one and it was interesting and time was flying. It was a lot of fun to make mustard by ourselfs. At the end you should take the time to taste some of the many different kinds! Right now they also have a special offer to support the Ukraine. Definitely worth a stop!!

During a weekend trip with friends, we decided to discover this mustard manufacturer that it has been in fact, a family business for generations. The visit was excellent, our guide was very friendly and educational. There’s the possibility to do the visit in multiple languages such as French, English and German. By the end of the visit you can buy the incredible and delicious mustards you got to try. I totally recommend, a must do if you visit Beaune!

Very interesting tour. Only negative was that the smell is so strong it makes your eyes water! I'd recommend wearing gogles

Nice place. Great mustard shop. Rather limited visiting options. Great as an addition to a stay and a must do thing for mustard lovers. Many creative varieties available.

The place has enormous potential, but I was disappointed with the visit. 1. There were both French and English speaking people in the group, so instead of having 2 different visits, they grouped us all together and the guide was explaining stuff in French, then making all the French speaking people wait for 5-10 minutes just staring at the wall (there was some stuff around to read, but you would finish reading everything in 2 minutes and then just sit there waiting), while she was explaining it in English, then making the English speaking people wait and so on. Essentially, you have a nice tour for half of the time and the other half..well, you wait. 2. You pay for a 'live' visit of the process, meaning that you should be seeing how they actually make the mustard. But it seems that on Friday afternoons, that's out of the question, because they close it off for cleaning. So you pay for it, but you don't actually get to see it. It would be nice to add that on the website when making reservations and maybe have a few euros discount. and 3. The visit was supposed to include tasting at the end, it didn't. We did get 2 very small jars of mustard at the end, but I would have liked to actually have a tasting session, as was advertised. Overall, not happy with the experience. Too bad, the place itself is great and the experience can easily be improved ( by being more honest and not so greedy :) ) oh, and by the way, contrary to any other place I have ever seen, it's actually more expensive to buy mustard from here, from the actual FACTORY than from nearby shops. Ridiculous

A fascinating tour. Manuella is a great speaker, and knows how to make this a very interesting experience. The only minor criticism I thought is that we were given a few seeds to taste at the beginning to allow us to taste that they are quite bitter. The seeds are rested for a couple of days to allow the bitterness to subside. It would have been really interesting to be able to taste them after they’ve rested to compare! Only a minor criticism - it was an excellent tour and I’d highly recommend to anyone visiting the area.

Hier kann man alle Senf Sorten erwerben und einen Teil auch probieren ... der Laden hier in Beaune gefällt uns besser als der in Dijon

A silly side adventure to a mustard museum turned into a great tasting experience. The attendant at the mustard station was very charming and we got to try some very interesting mustards. Well worth the visit if you're in the area

Sehr interessante und kurzweilige Führung bei der man viel über die Senfherstellung erfährt und es auch selber probieren kann.

Must go to experience. Book online. It is very informative and includes a tasting of a few varieties.

If you do not understand French, this is the worst tour ever. The first 45 minutes is standing in a dim room listening to a guy speak French for two minutes, then English for 10 seconds, then back to French. Like being held under water, then gasping when you come up, only to be pushed back down. The English snippets were disjointed and random. A complete waste of time and money. I walked out. Avoid this tour.

Very good mustard. Many different styles. Worth a visit if you like a spicy moutarde de Dijon

Fantastic tour. Be sure to book it online in advance. €10 per adult. Tour lasts about 90 minutes and includes explanation by a bilingual guide (our guide was Sophie), informative videos, tour of small museum, hands on preparation of mustard (using mortar and pestle with supplied ingredients), tastings and a couple small jars of Fallot's mustard. This was one of the best value tours of anything that we've ever had. It's a 'Must do' when in Beaune.

A place of production of the Dijon mustard in the city of Bonn. A short tour and explanation of the production process. Not intended for those who are sensitive to smells and tears... a slight burning sensation in the eyes throughout the tour. You can taste the different types of mustards.

Beautiful placez great tour. I'd steer away from the historical tour (no offense) but the other group seemed rather bored after we exited the manufacturing tour.

The rating is for the store only, and reflects the rude and aggressive way the older gentleman talks to customers. Some of the products we bought were very overpriced too. The tasting is a great idea, but unfortunately was closed to general public because of a group event

Booked 10 people for the English tour, which was mostly French with some English. . . I never did taste the mustard, seeing how the tour was mostly a tour guide talking... The factory it self wasn't working, really. Low point of our dayWas the

We did the discovery tour. Very interesting tour (in French) with several video and audio sequences (with headphones). Made some mustard and had a small plate of canapés with matching mustard. Well worth the €10 for 1.5 hours.

We visited this place with a Hungarian student group. Our guide was nice and knowledgable, I appreciated that she used simple language, so even the student who don't speak French very well could understand her. Actually it was much more interesting than I expected.

Excellent customer service at the store and big shout out to Joseph and the lady at the tasting station.... For those of us that like mustard, this is a awesome place. Unfortunately they were sold out for the factory tour, so if you can buy tickets in advance, you'll look a lot smarter than me. ;-)

👍👍 Beautiful park, just a 10 minute walk from the town center. Well worth it, especially if you have active children who need more space and activity than the town center has to offer. Even without kids, this is a nice place for a picnic or a bit of peace and quiet. I haven't been here on the weekend,...

😠 Not really the best place to visit: far too expensive to visit a single room, and a presentation without logic or thread.
