We had an amazing stay here at the end of June. All of the staff were extremely professional, kind, and helpful but particularly Jade, Charlie, and Alexei. We do not speak French and these three were very helpful, they even secured us a taxi for our early morning train. The room was very nice with comfortable beds and the Continental breakfast in the morning was lovely. It’s very conveniently located to the center of town so you can easily walk to everything. We would definitely stay here again if we return to Dijon.

This is a lovely hotel where you will get a fabulous night's sleep with a super comfortable bed and lovely bedding. The staff will go out of their way to help you, very friendly and accommodating. The rooms are spotlessly clean and the bathrooms have lovely toiletries and large soft fluffy towels. I would thoroughly recommend this place for a special treat.

Lovely small and unique accommodation in the old city. Service was friendly and helpful. The only drawback for me was the old and stained carpeting in the room.

A wonderful hotel to stay in! We stumbled upon this gem on a whim and so glad we found it. We spent 2 nights here and enjoyed the sights and foods Dijon had to offer. The beds were SO COMFORTABLE and the front desk staff, Alexis, was so kind. The rooms are quaint and small, however this is to be expected in France. The rooms were also very clean and tidy. Book this spot if you’re looking for a place in Dijon! The restaurant attached is also amazing. One of our best meals to date.

Adorable hotel. We arrived later than we wanted but we’re greeted warmly (including our dog) and efficiently assisted so we could make the last dinner service. The restaurant is lovely and the food and wine selections were exceptional. Our two entrees (roasted butternut and the escargots) were both innovative and very tasty. I had the filet of Charolais and it was perfect cooked and accompanied by a lovely sauce and sides. My husband had the poultry and it was exceptional (I was a bit jealous as it seemed the more unique choice and was so tasty). We had the pear and the corn deserts and I loved the creativity of the corn dessert. After dinner we walked the old city of Dijon (hotel is on the edge) and were charmed by the architecture. The city was full of life with stylish bars and young people enjoying a Friday night. We had a room off the back courtyard which is worth the stay just to stay in the medieval building. The mattress was comfortable and we slept well. A small but unique touch was that the staff had put out bowls in the bathroom for our dog… which was really nice and we have never seen before. In the morning the staff were again cheerful and warm when we had breakfast and the buffet was lovely. Roberta, who seated us asked us if we enjoyed our meal and if anything could be improved as she prepares lovely breakfast. Everyone was friendly and accommodating. We were sad to leave this perfect hotel and beautiful Dijon… Two small things to note: - the parking in the core of the hotel is protected which is nice… but the entry is small and we had an enormous car … my husband navigated this but if it had been me… I would have been too nervous I think - people with mobility issues should inform the staff… there are rooms more accessible than ours… we loved the windy stone staircase but some people with balance issues might have a hard time

Great location with friendly staff. However common areas (lounges) need a revamp as they are messy and unorganised. Worn out furniture and no decorative effort to make it nice. Breakfast offering and display not reflecting room prices..pity.

I loved the location and the room was great. It had windows that opened to a lovely second floor view, a Nespresso machine, a full size bathtub, and a mini fridge with complimentary drinks. Breakfast was very good. I would absolutely stay again.

The staff were amazing and really saved our stay after we had a truly awful experience with a hotel round the corner. We arrived distressed, concerned that we would have no where to stay, but the staff's support calmed us very quickly - they even tried to help us find a cheaper self-catering option, so we can't thank them enough - they really did go above and beyond. After explaining what had happened they offered to re-open a room for us. They had closed some rooms because of a party in the courtyard which may have kept guests awake. However, we slept soundly. The bed was very comfy, excellent pillows, a lovely free mini bar, great decor and bathroom, and the air conditioning was very welcome in the heat. We also had access to a lovely medieval balcony en route to our room which did massively make up from the distress of the other hotel. The interior of the hotel and its open places were all very nicely kept and modernised in a way that respected the very ancient parts of the building. We did not have breakfast or use the restaurant but they both looked great. Facilities were immaculate, location perfect and we were opposite to Parking Sainte Anne which provided cheap parking. I noted there was some limited parking on site which looked good too.

Booked a standard room for one night, travelling back from the South of France to the Netherlands. While booking it was not clearly stated that a parking space needed to be booked seperatly, so when arriving after finanaly parking my car I was told at check in I needed to move it to a public parking, which was luckily across the street. Once in the room I was confronted with to long curtains which were not hanging properly to the ceiling. Free drinks were offered from the mini-bar, but a there was a lot of molt in the fridge. The bathroom had 4 towels, but 2 of them had big red stains, which looked like blood. Nasty.... There was a lot of stain on the tiles as a result of hard water (limescale/plague). The light bulps in the bathroom were different and in the bed room the light spot had turned over time into a 'meeting place' for a lot of dark dust. The bed sheets were worn and had even wholes. Dissapointing... The dinner in the evening was however good! Also personal was very friendly. Breakfast was ok, except the egg. Something clearly went wrong whille boiling it (it cracked), and it was kind of covered up by putting the egg up side down in the egg holder. Needless to say the egg was 'slimmy'. Msut say that at check in my comments were taken seriously and I was directly offered the brackfast for free.

Great hotel, very helpful stuff and nice rooms. Located in the heart of old part of the city, in walking distance to all major sightseeing places. Highly recommend trying their restaurant for breakfast and lunch. For parking they can reserve a spot for your room, though there is a public indoor parking available across the street.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay here. The 1st night we were in the historic section which has no elevator but a very picturesque 16th century spiral stone staircase and Shakespearean half-timbered courtyard. We were pleasantly surprised at how cheerful and helpful the English-speaking staff were. One nice lady even helped us lug our heavy suitcases up the spiral staircase. The next 2 nights we were in the more modern part which does have an elevator and the room was large and pleasant with a hot water pot and a keurig coffee maker and mini bar fridge. The hotel is in a perfect location since it's right across the street from the Saint Anne parking at $11/day and on a quiet street easily walkable to downtown. The air conditioning worked wonderfully and I loved the shower fixture with push button action. We will definitely stay here again next time we are in Dijon. Highly recommend.

Our stay at MPLB was amazing. The location, our room, and the service was more than superb. After the stress of Paris, the City of Dijon and our stay at MPLB was the absolute highlight of our holidays. Alexei at Reception was professional, friendly, and more than helpful and made us feel very welcome. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in Dijon. Merci beaucoup MPLB!!!

Very clean and perfectly equipped rooms, but most of all the position is wonderful: a cheap parking right in front and meters away from the center. Not to miss.

Excellent hotel with comfortable rooms and great facilities. The property is located a short walk from Dijon's must see attractions in a quiet area of town, which is perfect. All the staff are pleasant and helpful. I intend to return.

Room was comfortable and extremely clean. Sadly they were badly let down by the breakfast offering with awful croissant and baguettes. Only four to five parking spaces available so if you want to park on site be sure to book. However there is a public car park almost on their doorstep.

Really nice, yet touristically used Hotel in the middle of Dijon and close to some really cosy restaurants. In the centre of the hotel there’s a nice little courtyard (see pictures) where you can have a glass of wine outside.

Maison Philippe le Bon is a clean, four-star hotel, fully stocked bathroom, modern chambers, which in addition to luxury suites, also has modest rooms for those on a more limited budget. The staff is young and willing to adapt to novel situations. The location is good for visiting the museums and old town of Dijon on foot (which is strongly recommended).

Great hotel and restaurant in Dijon. Very classy environment. If you are looking for a fine dining experience with regional dishes, this is the place to be. The hotel is a amazing but a little bit small though. The staff are very friendly and helpfull. However, the prices are really high. Recommended

For our first time visiting Dijon, we did not know where we should stay. Maison Phillipe Le Bon filled the bill perfectly. From the service at desk on our arrival, our beautiful and spacious room with view over the rooftops of Dijon, to the delicious breakfast in the lovely dining room, it was all first class. The location is several blocks from the action so still very quiet, but only minutes walk to all we wanted to visit or places to dine. We could not have been more pleased and would happily return.

Nice hotel, friendly staff and beautiful setting. The rooms are small, but orderly. Luckily, there is a (nearly silent) air conditioning and you will need it: otherwise, with closed windows, the air in the small rooms becomes humid and stuffy; with open windows, the road noise from below keeps you awake. The hotel’s bar looked nice through the windows, but unfortunately we never found it open due to “lack of customers” as we were told. Breakfast buffet was good, but nothing extraordinary given the level and price of the hotel.

Recommended to stay. Proper 4 star hotel with good service

The hotel was GOOD, restaurant was NOT. The service is a bit absurd here- waiters whisper and walk around rattling the plates as if they’re about to drop them any minute. It seems like a lot of college students working as part-time, not very experienced staff. However, the rooms were comfortable and the hotel grounds were excellent. Please note that the regular rooms are quite small though, and the entirety of the room is really the bed and a bit of walking space... so, we upgraded to a Junior Suite upon arrival and it fit us much better. Another thing, the air conditioning did not work in our room and was quite spotty, but we found a way around that. Decent stay, but it wouldn’t be my first choice if we visited the city again.

Very charming hotel. Lovely spacious room, nicely decorated and modern bathroom. Breakfast was tasty and fresh. The only negative was the air conditioner in our room was very noisy when the fan was on high, but if turned down to low, it was fine. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Would definitely stay here again.
