Their pictures bear little resemblance to the reality. No views. Rooms without a sofa or even an easy chair. No desk lamp (and the main lights are going to keep the other half awake). Previous occupants' dirty dishes in the dishwasher. Tiny pillows. The unwashed chalky gravel outside gets trampled in everywhere, so the rooms just have linoleum throughout. Frankly, it's ill conceived, be poorly implemented, badly managed, and ludicrously overpriced. Oh, and the pool that appears in their pictures, well I don't know where it is, but it certainly isn't here. Having seen your standard response to critical comments, don't bother. We DID raise our initial concerns with the receptionist.

Lets start with the positives: The Location is great - right in the center of town. Makes it very easy and convenient to explore the town on foot. The receptionist was very nice, welcoming and friendly. The location is generally nice in an old convent building. Nice ambiance generally. The “Junior Suite” we booked was very very small, outdated and not very clean. BedBugs, etc. Considering the room rate - that was not appropriate. The breakfast frankly was not great. The orange juice “machines” didnt work. The coffee was barely tolerable and the scambled eggs were inedible. The staff at the breakfast wasnt very attentive - left a finished table uncleaned for more than 20 minutes after the guests had left - despite not being busy at all. With some renovations, improved cleanliness and some staff training - this can really be a very good Hotel. Right now its barely average.

Staff was nice, hotel room is big and we got a cot for the little one. Cleaning could have been a bit more watching for details. We were not lucky having a group of drunken people knocking our door for ten minutes as they confused our room with theirs.

The room was very good and clean. But there was only one window that you can't open it. The location is perfect !In 2 minutes you are at the center of the old city. Be aware that the hotel demands deposit for your stay, depends on your staying days. For 2 days need deposit 200 euro

Super happy with the apartment and the service. The apartment was lovely, clean and had ample space for us five. The receptionist spoke very well in English and was very professional.

Service sehr freundlich.

Fantastic room ! Amazing costumer service! Phenomenal hotel breakfast! Great location! Everything about this hotel was extremely good! If you are looking for a place to stay in Dijon for a family trip we totally recommend this wonderful hotel. Family of 4 on an European vacation!

This property is worth a stay if you want to explore Dijon. Just 2 minutes walk from the central. Parking is just 3 mins walk from the central and will cost you just 11€ for the whole day. Breakfast is so nice, one of the best we had in European holidays. Variety of coffee ,breads, fruits, juice, jams, and so so much more. The property is not very expensive and can be semi luxurious as it's in Old Palace with some lovely and spacious rooms. Customer service is top 👌.The receptionist was very helpful and kind. I would love to go back and stay in the same property if I visit Dijon and would recommend this property to everyone. 👍👍👍👍👍

Be careful with this accommodation. Worst service. Staying in front of the hotel for 1 hour in the night. No one at the reception. No one answered the call. I had to find another hotel, but they don’t want to refund my room.

Very central location. Friendly staff. Rooms more than adequate. Carpets looked a bit grotty in places. No car parking. Would definitely stay here again.

+ great localization + beautiful courtyard + some of staff very helpful (lady who was telling us about history of the building) - rooms that were super hot (29 degrees at night, no air conditioning and those stone walls heat up during the day so it really hot inside even once outside at night it’s ok temperature. It’s very had to sleep even with tiny fan provided in the room - no coffee provided in the room - very hard beds - very loud fridge (needed to unplug it to be able to sleep) - I don’t understand how it calls itself 4 stars and yet clients need to empty their trash before departure and in rainy days no umbrellas to borrow…

Nice hotel in an old monastery. The breakfast was very good, also in a beautiful surrounding. Only the junior suite was small when you needed to use the sleeping couch. Then you can't use the kitchen anymore and bad entrance to the bathroom

Very kind manager and staffs, Good location, Reasonable and fair price. What else?! I and my family had a great stay in this hotel. (There is no internal parking lot, but public parking is close.)

The staff at the hotel were very courteous and helpful in every possible way and I can’t give them enough credit. Especially the man and women working the night shift who helped sort out a noise complaint. However the breakfast was atrocious. I was part of a big tour group and every time was eaten by the time I was downstairs! When my girlfriend asked if we can get a mini croissant and bread refill, they flat out refused her! I can’t believe they wouldn’t serve enough food for the guests. There are 20+ people in the group, and by my judgement there was enough for only half us. If you’re expecting a decent breakfast, please go somewhere else. The staff and building was really good, above average for France even. Though management clearly doesn’t care enough to give us a decent meal despite us booking a dozen rooms.

Very unique repurposed hotel. Everything about the hotel we found pretty charming, from the entrance to the hotel grounds. Locating our rooms were a little cumbersome due to the layout of the site. You will find very long hallways taking you to the various wings and rooms of the hotel, and if you use the lift, it might make for a long and roundabout walk. Our room was nice, but the layout proved to be awkward for us. The ground level housed the kitchen, toilet and shower, table and chairs, while the mezzanine level housed the bed. The stairs going up were angled in such a way that it made us not want to go up and down too many times in a night. The bed was very comfortable though. The staff was very friendly and helpful, providing us with a good list of dining and drinking locations to visit. The location of the hotel is also very central, though it is a decent walk to the main transit services. Would definitely stay again our next visit.

Very charming hotel in an old convent. Very big and modern room, equiped with a full kitchen, and a modern clean bathroom. Only downside is the noise from the floor above, but that comes with the authenticity
