The Vertigo offers complimentary use of electric bikes and an electric car. Their website says to book ahead, so I emailed them before our visit. They didn't respond and when this was brought to the attention of the person at the front desk they confirmed I'd used the right email address but then shrugged and said they didn't get my email . When I asked if they might want to look into why she had no interest. The car is said to be in for service (no time given for its return) and bikes are booked for the day we would like to use them. This comes after the clerk at checkin insisted our rate didn't include breakfast until I showed them the written confirmation that it did. The Vertigo appears to be so hip they don't feel the need to deliver what they promise.

Small rooms and too expensive for what you get. In my room there wasn't even a real bathroom - the sink was in the open space and there were separate spaces for the toilet and shower. For this price you can get better deals with bigger rooms.

Quaint and cozy hotel near the center of it all. Walking distance to all the shops and restaurants . Nicely decorated for the holidays. Staff was welcoming and hospitable. We enjoyed our staff and would not mind coming g back here.

We were two people staying here for one night. The staff was very nice and the rooms clean and designed in a fun way (there was a sky painting on the ceiling!). The room (marvelous) was very small, and the layout is not ideal with the very small space near the shower. There was a nice solution for charging devices. The breakfast was nice. The location is really good if you're coming from the train station, a very easy walk from there. Unfortunately, we didn't get to try the spa, maybe next time.

Great location, average service at reception and room very small! Great service at the bar though and excellent location.

Those lights are in the guest rooms and you CANNOT shut them off. For the hotel it is more important to have the outside appearance then guests that have a room in which they can actually sleep… Don’t go here! Waste of money and old place, which is quite desperately trying to appear modern. Do not book! 100% horrible!

Typical French hotel with tiny rooms. Service is excellent. Spa is small but the building is historical and has not much space. A but pricey. For a night or two, recommended

This hotel should be ashamed to have a restaurant. I wouldn’t serve my dog their food. And If I was insufferable enough to own a cat, I’d still give them Iams over this food. Everything is in a soup form or just terrible. Eat nothing but the beer here.

Excellent value for money hotel! Had the most amazing experience as a couple. The location is excellent and the building historic. The room was very modern and high-tech Private parking is available in a garage within the same building block (1min walking distance) The breakfast food quality and appearance has room for improvement. The staff was super friendly and professional. Would definitely stay again!

Interesting hotel with stunning design. There is parking in a car park to the rear. It is located conveniently in the center of Dijon.

Very nice hotel with the town centre just a few steps away. Beds are comfortable as is the room with nice styling elements and a good rainshower. The breakfast offers a variety of food. What really makes the Vertigo stand out is their staff. Everyone is so friendly and helpful from the desk to the cleaning staff. It's this personal attention that makes you feel welcome as their guest.

Super nice hôtel & great reception staff and management. We had two nights at this property and can recommend jt. Great breakfast, spa, pool and steam-room. We had an issue with one of the rooms but the hotel team gave us a different room and all was good. Excellent location too!

We made a last minute booking and they hotel staff were very accommodating. The hotel is in a great location and has its own parking lot. Our room was a bit small. Hotel staff were very nice and spoke good English. We really enjoyed the breakfast - there was lots of homemade treats to choose from!

Nice and clean but small rooms. Parking on site for 15€. Breakfast not included as a Bonvoy Member. However small loyalty appreciation gifts. Breakfast prices are fair for value. Staff was nice and helpful. Good for a nightover!

A quick stop overnight stay in this city hotel. We had a problem with our booking upon arriving but receptionist was very happy to help us resolve with the booking agent. Breakfast was fantastic. I would recommend to book this if you are looking to stay. Plenty of toiletries, and a neatly set up room, abit on the small side but this is a personal preference. Deco was unique and nicely done. All you need in a city hotel. Recommended.

Rooms are small but the rest of the hotel makes up for it. Cozy spa open all day and evening, awesome bar, great breakfast with wide assortment (paid for extra, not included even with Marriott Bonvoy benefits). Very friendly staff. Just one elevator that can be slow during high traffic times. Great location in the city and parking on site.

The two stars are given for the really convenient location- just a minute from the old town of Dijon- and the extremely friendly and helpful young staff. As for the rest- this hotel is a design nightmare and clearly reverses the ‚form followes function‘ to ‚ function has to follow form.‘ First, it‘s in black and white which means mostly black for the reception. The light design is such that we could hardly see the receptionist as we were entering the building. It felt like entering a tomb. This impression grew even weirder in the lift, where you could hardly see anything at all. The room we had (407) felt incredibly small for two and it wasn‘t even the smallest category. It was just so badly shaped and stuffed, that you literally couldn‘t move without banging any of the furniture. In spite of the size of the room they had an overdimensioned mirror crammed in, that made it even harder to move and turned out to be the tv. The worst suprise came at night though. There are coloured lights in the windows, that cannot be switched off- due to the hotel design. It was covered by the friendly receptionists that came to our rescue and told us, he had to do that all the time, because - surprise!- the guests hate having coloured lights all night long, while they want to sleep. The breakfast buffet was small, but okay. Nothing special. No recommandation, no turning back. Marriott should really reconsider their design choices.

3 stars...small rooms, very basic, little amenities (just 1 little shampoo for 2 people booked for example), tiny reception...TV was not possible to make it work and lighting switches positioned in very strange locations..but at least clean also because probably newly renovated.

It was first time we stop over at Dijon. We did not have any expection but the hotel makes us feel like home. The reception ladies speak good English. We like the parking place it is right after the hotel. The room is small but has everything and clean. Location cN not be better and the rate is good. I did not have time to visit the spa however our rate was included spa access
