The
standard
rooms
are
outside
of
the
main
castle
in
an
annex.
Quite
simply,
they
don't
feel
like
they
meet
the
requirements
of
a
4-star
hotel.
The
rooms
were
small,
the
decoration
rather
bland,
and
the
walls
between
rooms
thin,
to
the
point
where
you
could
hear
neighbors
going
to
the
bathroom
or
their
phones
vibrate
when
they
receive
a
text
message...
One
of
the
rooms
did
not
have
hot
water
and
one
of
the
hair
dryers
had
a
hole
in
it.
The
tiny
table
in
our
room
served
as
a
TV
stand,
a
telephone
stand,
and
a
place
where
the
free
water
bottles
were
offered.
An
event
made
our
stay
much
worst
though:
on
the
second
night
we
discovered
that
one
of
the
door's
locks
was
not
working.
We
notified
the
staff
who
explained
they
would
fix
this
while
we
went
out
to
have
dinner.
We
got
back,
the
door
was
still
wide
open
for
anyone
to
come
in.
We
had
our
work
computers
and
other
expensive
items
in
our
rooms.
We
called
the
front
desk
and
were
informed
that
they
had
simply
forgotten
about
it..
They
offered
to
put
us
in
another
room,
but
seeing
as
how
we
had
a
baby
that
just
fallen
asleep,
that
was
not
a
convenient
option.
We
were
supposed
to
stay
a
3rd
night,
but
shortened
our
trip
because
of
how
disappointed
we
were
overall.
When
we
went
to
pay
the
bill,
the
staff
did
offer
us
a
discount
for
the
inconvenience.
However,
upon
reviewing
the
bill,
we
noticed
that
they
tried
to
charged
us
for
a
more
expensive
champagne
bottle
than
the
one
we
had
ordered
in
the
lobby
bar
on
the
first
night
(30€
difference).
With
all
this
accumulation
of
grievances,
I
simply
cannot
recommend
this
hotel
in
good
faith.
I'm
sure
the
superior
rooms
are
much
nicer.
