Mainly a migrant camping. The pitches are flat. Good starting point to explore Dijon. Very new and modern showers. The water taps gives few water, so it takes a while to fill your jerry can. There is only one point at the entrance of the campsite to empty your chemical toilet. If your pitch is at the end of the campsite, then it is a long walk to get there. The campsite is seated nearby a nice recreation lake.

Lovely, shaded campsite by a river. Short off road path to Dijon. Spacious pitches. Reasonable amenities and prices. Two negatives: pitches are pretty worn, even in June, and we were endlessly reminded to phone ahead to confirm, but when we got here, it hadn't been necessary.

A nice camping, I have not seen much of the river but the camping is enclosed by gates that you can enter with codes which is nice. It's very near Dijon, but it is still amazingly quiet. The camping spots are spacious and the facilities are clean but can be a little cramped. The showers were amazing, with nice hard water streams.

Camping du Lac Kir was a pleasant and quiet place to stay. Only 3 kilometers from centre, it's a great option if you want to go sightseeing in Dijon. There's clean showers and toilets with seat cover. Price for a camper and three persons was 25 €, so not too expensive. Friendly receptionists with good language skills. Only negatives were the dishwashing sinks and taps, as you don't have much room and need to press the tap every 10 seconds. Three sink's drain's were also clogged. Also, bring insecticide, there's a lot of ants and cockroaches. 💨

Lovely Campsite. Stayed for one night en route north, on an exceptionally wet and rainy night. Showers and toilets amongst the best we've seen in nearly 6 weeks in France! We will be back.

Difficult to know what to think about this site. The facilities are all excellent and modern. The staff are efficient. The pitches are a good size, demarked by small hedges and there are tall, mature trees providing shade. There's even soap, but no loo roll. But.... It's big and impersonal. There was a long queue in full sun in the boiling heat to check in. The surrounding area doesn't feel very nice, emphasised by the theft warning posters and the security fencing. I only found one drinking water tap for the whole site (by pitch 44). The cleaner struggled heroically but was facing a losing battle with the sheer number of people making a mess. Every single toilet in the mens' had been urinated over. Despite the big pitches our neighbours felt that they needed to walk through ours, and their children that electric cable was a skipping rope. By 11am, once everyone had left and the cleaner had caught up it's a nice place.

Large campsite and well organised with an on-site snack bar in the evening. Lovely walk along the river to Dijon and I would recommend stopping by the Cafe du Pont on route for a light lunch. Good location, good facilities

We really enjoyed staying in this camping! It's really comfortable to reach Dijon (30 minutes walking), and it's cheap enough and very clean. Wide places for camping car, privacy and nature guaranteed! Bathrooms were modern and clean, they cleaned several times in the day. Hot water shower and sinks. Receptionist quite good English speaker. Recommended

This is a quiet campsite for motor homes, camper and and tents 4hrs via tolls from the channel tunnel. There is a lovely riverside walk into town, 17mins away walking on a flat path. Do bring your bikes with you. Unlike some campsites this does not provide you with toilet paper, so bring your own (that might be the English side of me!). The facilities are clean, washing up area and separate showers, pleasant on-site mini restaurant for a small set breakfast and pizza in the evening and burgers. Definitely a good overnight break for the weary traveller…

We stayed in the campsite for two nights. We walked into the town along the river which took about 20 minutes. The toilets & showers were clean. The Motorhome Service area was a bit tricky to get to. Dijon is very nice place.

Flat site. Very helpful and friendly staff from reception and take away to cleaners. Toilet block cleaned regularly through day. Good food from the take away - nice to not cook one evening. Lots of space for all types of camping units with many motorcycles, walkers and cyclists. Short walk along the river into Dijon, and Lac Kir the other direction. Most pitches are a good size with plenty of space to sit out, although a few became muddy in heavy rain but dried quickly.

People often overlook city camp sites, as we did for years, but recently we've been venturing as much into cities as we are in the countryside. We have several favourites including one in Strasbourg and this one I'm on currently in Dijon. It's smack in the city, but you'd never know... the surrounding city road noise is very minimal and the site is as rustic as it gets. We've stayed here on numerous occasions and it always surprises me how beautiful it looks any time of the year, but best of all, it's so cheap compared to many other sites with far less beauty or things to do. Oh and not so many UK number plates, which rather suits my grumpy nature.

One night stop. We did not book, were greeted by friendly staff and were able to get a space for the night. Great location 30 minutes walk along river to Dijon. Facilities great. Modern toilet and shower block. Clean. Small on site restaurant serving pizza, burgers etc. Options to walk to a lake / beach area about 10 mins from site. Would definitely return if in the area again.

A lovely welcoming campsite on a thin sliver of land surrounded by streams next to the lake and within easy walking/cycling distance of Dijon. The pitches are shady and spacious and the washroom facilities were clean and plentiful. There's a small bar which also serves Pizzas, burgers and basic food as well as selling bread in the morning. Wifi only works near the reception but work in Dijon town centre. Recommended

I can't really provide a good picture of the camp site as I was unsuccessful in securing a camping spot. But it looked like it was in a perfect position for visiting the city. And it had a restaurant of some description on site. Really I just wanted to leave some advice and say book in advance, as it gets booked up easily. I can't comment any more on the facilities, only that they spoke English at reception and suggested an alternative camp site that I considered quite far from Dijon as an alternative and this was unfeasible for me, but I'm sure for others it could be fine. Instead I went to the camping municipal fairly nearby (certainly closer than the site suggested from memory), which I've reviewed separately (though my summary is: pretty basic facilities, cash only, picturesque setting and village, friendly staff with basic English skills, and an excellent location for cycle tourers, inexpensive @ €9,50 for a car and small tent).

The spots are rather large. depending on the spot the electricity is rather far away. the toilets and showers are neither very clean nor very well maintained in my opinion. There was no soap or toilett paper. the surrounding is nice, but it takes rather long to get there. It's super cheap, so I guess you get what you pay for. But I would not visit again even just to drive through.

This could be a really nice camping, but the toilets and shower facilities let the place down. There is no toilet paper, so bring your own, and the the toilets had obviously not been cleaned properly for a long time. The showers were also filthy. This is a shame as the facilities are modern enough, and with a good clean would make staying here a pleasure. The pitch sizes are enormous and site staffed by a friendly team. The nearby lake is beautiful and shopping close by.

A functional campsite located adjacent to a river walking/cycle path and not far from the city or lake. The site seems to have a high turnover of guests staying for a few nights whilst on longer journeys and provide a great stopover for us on ours. We used the on site restaurant which has a reasonable menu for reasonable prices after a long day and the pizza we has was tasty! The facilities were reasonably new and were cleaned regularly whilst we were there. There was no toilet paper so be prepared!

A great site in Dijon. The town centre is a short bike ride down the river. Very quiet site with a lille snack bar on site. Great food and beer. Toilets are spotless and we couldn't fault it for the cost. Book ahead. It is busy even mid Sept. Only one crotososm was a couple of cars parked in the aire car park and tow cars blocking up some areas of the site. We. Will return. Thank you.
