Amazing
location
for
the
hotel,
but
the
rooms
aren't
quite
the
standard
we
were
expecting.
We
stayed
here
for
3
nights
just
before
Christmas
and
had
2
rooms,
1
was
a
twin
and
1
with
a
double
bed.
The
beds
were
OK,
not
the
most
comfortable,
but
not
the
worst
we've
had
either.
The
rooms
felt
quite
basic
and
bland.
The
lighting
wasn't
great
either,
so
the
rooms
felt
quite
dark.
Our
rooms
faced
onto
a
small
internal
courtyard
area,
this
meant
we
couldn't
leave
the
curtains
open
as
you
could
see
across
into
other
people's
rooms.
One
morning
we
could
see
across
into
another
room
where
someone
was
dressing,
so
quickly
had
to
shut
the
curtains
again.
One
room
had
a
real
issue
with
the
ventilation.
It
was
stuck
on
hot.
Just
always
pumping
out
hot
air.
We
needed
to
sleep
with
the
juliet
balcony
door
open
to
get
some
air
into
the
room.
One
room
had
a
shower
over
the
bath,
and
the
other
had
a
cubicle,
which
seemed
as
though
it
was
a
half
cubicle
as
it
was
so
small.
I
had
an
issue
during
the
stay
where
I
couldn't
get
cold
water
out
of
the
tap.
Only
very
hot
water
would
come
out,
no
matter
which
way
I
turned
the
tap
and
no
matter
how
long
I
ran
it
for.
The
breakfast
is
on
the
top
floor
of
the
hotel
and
is
a
pleasant
area
to
eat
with
lovely
views
of
Brussels.
The
food,
however,
we
didn't
find
to
be
that
good.
The
scrambled
eggs
were
way
over
salted,
the
beans
had
a
funny
taste
to
them,
the
boiled
eggs
were
way
overcooked,
and
the
bacon
and
sausages
had
been
under
the
heat
lamps
too
long
so
were
dry
and
didn't
taste
right.
With
the
food
being
like
that,
and
costing
25
euro
per
person,
we
only
had
breakfast
1
morning
and
ate
elsewhere
for
the
remainder
of
the
stay.
The
hotel
had
a
fire
alarm
test
during
our
stay,
but
we
weren't
informed
about
this
which
is
frustrating
as
we
would
have
made
sure
we
weren't
in
the
hotel
at
that
time
so
that
we
didn't
need
to
walk
down
many
flights
of
stairs
and
evacuate
the
hotel.
We
weren't
the
only
ones
annoyed
by
this,
others
guests
were
seen
arguing
with
the
staff
about
it.
I
understand
the
hotel
can't
tell
people
to
ignore
the
alarm,
but
they
could
inform
guests
about
the
alarm
to
allow
them
to
be
out
of
the
hotel
already
for
the
duration
of
the
tests.
I'm
not
sure
we'd
visit
here
again,
whilst
the
location
is
great,
there
are
better
hotels
around
with
nicer
rooms
for
similar
money.
