Amazing location for the hotel, but the rooms aren't quite the standard we were expecting. We stayed here for 3 nights just before Christmas and had 2 rooms, 1 was a twin and 1 with a double bed. The beds were OK, not the most comfortable, but not the worst we've had either. The rooms felt quite basic and bland. The lighting wasn't great either, so the rooms felt quite dark. Our rooms faced onto a small internal courtyard area, this meant we couldn't leave the curtains open as you could see across into other people's rooms. One morning we could see across into another room where someone was dressing, so quickly had to shut the curtains again. One room had a real issue with the ventilation. It was stuck on hot. Just always pumping out hot air. We needed to sleep with the juliet balcony door open to get some air into the room. One room had a shower over the bath, and the other had a cubicle, which seemed as though it was a half cubicle as it was so small. I had an issue during the stay where I couldn't get cold water out of the tap. Only very hot water would come out, no matter which way I turned the tap and no matter how long I ran it for. The breakfast is on the top floor of the hotel and is a pleasant area to eat with lovely views of Brussels. The food, however, we didn't find to be that good. The scrambled eggs were way over salted, the beans had a funny taste to them, the boiled eggs were way overcooked, and the bacon and sausages had been under the heat lamps too long so were dry and didn't taste right. With the food being like that, and costing 25 euro per person, we only had breakfast 1 morning and ate elsewhere for the remainder of the stay. The hotel had a fire alarm test during our stay, but we weren't informed about this which is frustrating as we would have made sure we weren't in the hotel at that time so that we didn't need to walk down many flights of stairs and evacuate the hotel. We weren't the only ones annoyed by this, others guests were seen arguing with the staff about it. I understand the hotel can't tell people to ignore the alarm, but they could inform guests about the alarm to allow them to be out of the hotel already for the duration of the tests. I'm not sure we'd visit here again, whilst the location is great, there are better hotels around with nicer rooms for similar money.

This hotel has perfect location. Receptionist were very kind. My room was clean and cleaned it every day. One day i Just went to the roof top breakfast for 30 min then my room was cleaned and my sleeping t-shirt folded. Food is good also. I can't believe that such a nice marble staircase is hidden.

Fantastic hotel located near every venue in Brussels. Just minutes away from the delirium bar and the famous fountain. The rooms could be nicer, but it's doable for couples. However, since it is close to everything, be prepared to hear the noise coming from outside the street.

Beautiful clean room, nice views, fresh air and in a prime spot to see and do some sightseeing. Working here for a week, got to visit the famous mannekin pis, the Grand place and took a train to Brugge (day trip). Staff were courteous, Jordi at the front desk was very helpful and kind! The breakfast is a highlight, amazing.

Please think twice before considering staying there. I chose this hotel, because of the good reviews. However, I had a terrible experience. FIRST, I arrived at the hotel early and after check in with a front administrator Irina, I left my luggage and went to explore the city. When I came back later, the luggage handle was completely broken. I addressed it immediately, but Irina was ignoring me and was staying in the back while another front administrator tried to help. They did not have a manager that day, so they asked to wait till tomorrow. The next day, I spoke with their manager Pedro J. Ruiz, who informed me that there is not cameras in the luggage room, but he will call his manager and get back to me. Again, nobody got back to me and I end up with $600 broken luggage. SECOND, the room was dirty: stains on the ottoman, bathtub corners had mold, numerous marks on the walls and nail clip in the sink. I do have all the pictures, but they are not giving the option to attach it. LASTLY, you can not sleep at night as it is super noisy, so you will not get any rest( I am sure your read it in other reviews as well) . It is definitely not 4 star hotel and not worth paying $500 for 2 nights.

Rooms are quite fine in terms of space but I would definitely recommend to book an interior room which might be a little quieter (construction work outside). The location is great, and the staff is friendly. Metro, bus station, and Northern central station are quite close to the hotel. Additionally, view is nice from the restaurant on 9th floor.

Fell in love with this hotel! The location is perfect, good restaurants/bars are nearby as well as beautiful sights of Brussels. The breakfast is delicious, besides the fact that the view up there is awesome! Last, but not least, the People working at the front desk are very nice, helpful and happy. Fernando welcomed us in a very nicely way and the check-in with Jonathan was so stressless and professional. I would definitely recommend this hotel! Not just for sightseeing trips, but also for business trips it must be a good place to stay.

The staff at the hotel went out of their way to provide excellent service and make my wife feel special on her birthday. We had a problem with our room (noisy neighbours, nothing to do with the hotel) but the staff were proactive and helped to resolve this for us moving us to a quieter room. Special mentions to Alina for the birthday surprises and Cristian for helping us with our room. Thank you for a lovely stay. We would stay here again and recommend to a friend.

Perfect location - everything was within 10 minute walking distance. Loads of shops, cafes and touristy attractions are basically on your doorstep. The room was spotlessly clean. The only minor inconvenience we had was that one morning the fire alarm went off at 6am. It stopped after a minute or so. There wasn't any evacuation nor was there any explanation or apology. Not what you want on your holiday. But apart from that everything was fine. There is a metro stop right outside the hotel which made our commute to and from Midi station (Eurostar) super easy. We would be happy to stay at this hotel again if we were to come back to Brussels

In general, everything was good. I've booked a room and pay extra money to have city view, but instead, I got an atrium view with a very dark room without light. When I went to the reception desk asking why I get a different room from what I have booked, they answered that rooms with a view are not available because of building reconstruction. And propose to downgrade the room, that I have already paid for to have city view. It was nonsense, worst room for the same price. After my confusion, they proposed to me a 10% discount. If you don't have those rooms with the view available, mark it on booking as not available, so you will not break expectations. Room and bathroom are old and need reconstruction, but clean. There is a kettle and coffee machine in the room. Also, room was noisy and I hear everything from the hall. The staff was kind, except for this one guy who proposed a downgrade and was rude. Guys near the elevators, you are awesome and really helpful. Hotel has a good location in the city center and shopping street. Breakfast was awesome and really delicious.

Love this hotel. 4☆. Great location. Not expensive at all. This was in corona times mind you. Arnaut deserves a special mention. He is the guy who goes round with special sweet treats at breakfast. Answering all you questions and asking how you are and how you slept. A wonderful touch I've never experienced before. Love the attention. Kind and caring. Chapeau. Only minor detail is, seeing Brussels is a bilingual city (French and Dutch), many of the hotel staff don't understand or speak Dutch. Only French. English is option two. A great shame for my mothertongue is Dutch. Xxx

The hotel is very nice and old. Rooms definitely need a makeover though (spots of mold in the bathrooms). The multilingual staff is very friendly. Breakfast only starts at 7.

Thank you guys! I had a wonderful stay. The hotel is very well located. The rooms are clean and spacious. The breakfast is tasty with a lot of choices. The staff is very helpful and welcoming especially Jordi and Sammad at the reception. Highly recommended hotel. I will definitely be back :)

Very accommodating staff and it was a very satisfying stay we had for a whole week. Street side views come with some noise whereas courtyard rooms are super quiet. Rooms are huge and there is a bath tub for tired travellers.

Great stay! Spent the night for an early business day in Brussels, very central, easy to reach. Professional and courteous staff, clean and spacious room with comfy beds, big TV, proper desk, iron, fridge, the works. Bathroom is spacious albeit dated. The bath or shower doesn't exactly bring out spa emotions :-) Lots of construction at the front door, but let's assume this is temporary.

Stayed there for three nights. The location is easily accessible, the interior is beautiful, the rooms are great, the breakfast is to die for, and the service is impeccable (give Fernando a raise!). Would definitely stay there again!

The staff are beyond lovely, comfy beds, quiet rooms, clean and nicely decorated. We loved our stay. It is also so central to restaurants, bars and tourist attractions. Couldn’t recommend more !

Presidential suite was up to standards, location is great, right in the heart of the city. But the front desk employees have to be retrained on how to service their customers. This I don't care attitude has to go. Over all, 4 stars will do, and we won't be back their again

No sleep with construction noise right out front. Street is under construction. HOT room with air conditioning not turned on. Old fashioned central system. Poor place if you want to sleep. Complaint offered a fan — little relief. Toilet keeps running when flushed.

Great Hotel !!! 🍀🌈 Good breakfast, very central. Right in the heart of the City. Most important - amazingly friendly staff. Very supportive (needed help with a car damage), attentive, helpful. Just perfect. Multi-tasking, multilingual, international ! Best place I have booked in for a long time. 👍 Best wishes from Germany 🙏

I will Not visit it this hotel again The room is too hot and noisy I felt like sleeping in the street from all the noise coming from the street and the halls in the hotel. The value was over priced for the old room and toilet, the cleaners had put dirty spoon when replaced the one used on our second night. The location is the only good thing, I didn’t feel safe in Brussels city anyway so it’s not the hotel issue. Horrible experience and waste of money.

This hotel is in a great location, clean, hygienic and most of all their customer service adds to the experience. I was here on a work trip and my colleague had to be rushed to the A&E and the staff was so helpful and cooperative. A special thanks to Fernando who was not only welcoming and friendly but helped by colleague pack his stuff and ensured we got to the train station on time. Thanks Fernando!

Great hotel in the middle of Brussels center. We stayed here on a Fridaynight after visiting the European Commission for work, and were not disappointed with the great service. Staff is very polite and helpful. The hotel has a real luxury feel and the interior is beautiful. The breakfast is also great; a huge variety of very healthy foods.

Well-placed hotel with friendly staff, but very poor otherwise. Our bedroom had a stain on the wall, and the wifi broke for more than 24 hours at one point in the stay, which even caused all of the hotel's systems (e.g. room service) to break. Speaking of wifi, the hotel advertises falsely that all rooms have wifi included with no qualifier. In reality, the connection you get as part of your booking is throttled, and you are asked to pay €10 per night if you wish to be able to e.g. watch Netflix or YouTube. My connection routinely cut out entirely throughout the stay, and often struggled to handle even loading Google. This was extremely inconvenient and keeping this hidden from guests until arrival is predatory. I have never stayed at a hotel before that asked me to pay extra money to simply have a usable internet connection, and it says a lot that NH Collection make sure to keep this information hidden until you arrive. If you want a nice hotel in the centre of Brussels, there are many other options which are likely far less dedicated to ripping off their guests. p.s. the air conditioning also doesn't seem to do much so I would avoid this hotel in a heat wave (thankfully it was mild during our stay)

Very nice hotel, super clean and graet breakfast . But the most important issue for us was very kind service. When we asked in the hotel reception desk if there is recommendation for special places to see in Brussel, Yonatan ,with amaizing patience, provide us with the best and the most . kind explanation we have ever received Thank you

Love coming back to NH Collection Brussels. I'm always welcome there with great smile and when I enter the breakfast room I feel like I'm home. Colleagues are so warm and welcoming and give you feeling like you are super VIP. Thank you so much ☺️☺️☺️

I had a nice stay in this hotel, great location and friendly service. I was lucky to get an early check in, Jordi the receptionist was super hospitable and Christian the Spanish bellboy was also being helpful. Will definitely stay here again when I am in Brussels :)

Comfortable room, excellent roof top terrace, great breakfast. - Reception was inexperienced ie. ‘in training’. -The worst part of the stay was being woken up at 06:10 by a delivery truck catering to the hotel right beneath my window for 30 solid minutes.

The hotel has really nice location. It’s really nice in the inside and the rooms are really comfortable! The breakfast is really tasty and has many different options to choose. The staff from reception are really nice, thanks to Victoria and Edgar we had a really nice time in Brussels!

I have been travelling regularly to Brussels for work and Hotel NH has been great. In particular Jonathan Gonzalez has gone above and beyond to ensure a fantastic stay at the hotel. We will be booking again because he is great to deal with! Thank you Jonathan!

This is THE stylish address in center Brussels. Breakfast on 9th floor rooftop terrace is great. At least 220 degree view. Rooms are nice, modern and the wood used on the floors is nice. Room stuff is good, bathroom products are great. Best rooms are with city view either to the side or the main Boulevard. Also they handle difficult guests with sure instinct. Great international personnel working there as well. So, Great place! 5 ***** in my opinion. I'll be back.

Excellent hotel for a superior price! I stayed here one night for € 85 including breakfast and a 30 Sqm super clean room. Fast Internet, spacious- and quiet room and location wise perfect! All the hotspots within walking distance. Very nice staff as well, good service and no crazy € 10 tourist tax per day like in Amsterdam…(based on room of euro 100 per night…) 7,0% of the accommodation costs (excluding breakfast costs) + € 3 per person per night. In Amsterdam a room like this will cost you euro 250 per night so with two person the tourist tax will be almost € 25 in total for one night….

Where to start.. this is one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in! Is not only beautiful, clean, with a super good location, but it also has an amazing rooftop where you can have, what I can also now confirm, the best breakfast in town, there’s soo many options!! I really love it! Only thing I could mention that wasn’t according to my standards or likening was the bed, for me the mattresses are too hard, but it seems to be a thing here in Europe! All the staff where super nice and friendly, but I do need to give special mention Jonathan and Javier! Woow! This two guys offers another level of good service! They where super friendly, help us with a lot of information, with what to do in the city, where to go, where to eat… thank you guys for the amazing experience!

My wife and I stayed in the property for 3 nights and was like being at home. Location of the hotel is the best, all attractions are just a few steps away and just in case that you want to visit the atomium, metro station is right at the corner. Breakfast is served in the top floor with panoramic views of the city. Talking about the breakfast is delicious, they have several options of hot food, salads, fresh friut and juices. But above all their staff is always one step ahead of all your requests and they are always joyful, providing a warm friendly and corteous service. Thanks for all your attentions.

Fabulous hotel. Staff were very helpful. The girl on reception noticed from my wife's passport that it was her birthday the following day. On her birthday the hotel left a birthday cake and card in the room. The location is central. The breakfast is great, a huge selection of foods. The view from the rooftop restaurant is excellent.

I stayed here for business during 3 nights. The hotel is stylish and nice. The decoration and the layout of the room is very good. The office chair is particularly comfortable, what made my working hours in the room much better. Very nice set of amenities and the shower works really well. The mattress is very comfortable. The only thing that could improve is the compensation offered for skipping the cleaning service, which is only a drink in the bar in that day only during a particular time. I am specially surprised with the breakfast, which is one the best ones that I have ever seen. The salon is big enough, great variety of sweet, healthy and options in general plus a juice maker. The staff is really nice and the covid prevention measures are excellent. When I come back to Brussels this hotel will be my choice again.

The rooms may be not the most spacious on the planet and dating a little, however the extremely competent and friendly staff + the great breakfast banquet more than made up for it. Great place to stay, looking forward to coming back later this month.

Very good customer service from the moment we arrived. We were a few hours early and allowed to have our room without any questions. Nice room very big and clean, shower & bath provided. Not sure the air con worked though. Breakfast was an incredible amount of options, unfortunately we could not experience the roof top terrace on our final night as it was booked out to a private event. No reason not to book this hotel.

Spacious rooms, comfortable beds, well-equipped bathroom. Location is very convenient for travel and for eating out, though some of my colleagues found it a little noisy for sleep (was fine for me). The roof top terrasse is great for evening drinks and for starting the day with breakfast. Breakfast options were good quality and offered plenty of choice. A good stay overall.

Lovely hotel close to lots of attractions and one block from a train station. Very modern and clean. We had a family suite and it was quite spacious. Beds were comfortable. The rooftop bar was a nice place to relax after a day of sight seeing.

Great hotel, very well located in the city center, close to the most tourist areas and well connected. Spacious and comfortable rooms, and to highlight the rooftop bar highly recommended to enjoy a drink. The staff is very friendly and attentive to guests. Recommended for any visit to Brussels for work or tourism. I will repeat as soon as I can.

We experienced incredible service levels here from friendly, professional staff and nothing was too much trouble for them. We had a wonderful 4 night stay in this hotel!! 1. Location: excellent location!! Just next to the metro station, very close to the grand place. And still quite 2. Staff: everybody were extremely nice. However, Rose gave us the best recommendations for the local, not touristic restaurants, traditional meals, best local bars and secret attractions. She also alerted us where shouldn’t we go. Highly useful tips :) 3. Breakfast: amazing!!! Huge variety, everything is very fresh, testy, extremely nice service! 4. Room: large and comfortable rooms, have everything we needed. Very clean. Overall, we will be back ❤️

Stayed in this hotel for one night and it was alright. The room was not big but a good size to be able to move around, though it gets quite noisy in the evening/morning given the location. It was impossible to sleep after 6am with lots of street noise, garbage trucks, etc. The highlight is definitely the breakfast buffet, it had a lot to offer and with a lovely terrace where you can enjoy a nice view of the city. Staff wasn't the friendliest during check in, but didn't have many interactions after that to judge.

  • 4/5 James W. 1 year ago on Google
Very close to all five stars. A lovely hotel and we were very impressed from the moment we arrived. The room was amazing, the hotel accomodating to my requests, and the breakfast buffet was amazing. The only thing that took a few stars off was being told the evening meals at the rooftop bar were microwaved (but still charged at restaurant prices) and when housekeeping disturbed us three times in the morning (once at 8am while we were still sleeping!) despite us calling "no thank you" through the door and putting up the do not disturb sign.

I have stayed in this lovely hotel several times and it has always been a most enjoyable experience! The General manager as well as all of his staff members are very friendly and attentive, your wishes are fulfilled even before you have made them known. The rooms are large and well equipped, the location is fantastic and the breakfast is both extensive and delicious. An absolute must-stay in Brussels!

I stayed 4 days in this very central hotel. The hotel is very chic with everything in walking distance. I arrived on a Thursday and there was a nice music event at the roof top terrace. It was great to enjoy the sunset there with some drinks. The rooms are large, modern and silent with large comfortable beds. The morning you can start with a great breakfast in the 9th floor. I enjoyed the buffet and there was enough space to generate a relaxing atmosphere. Last but not least the great staff needs to be added there. All of them are extremely friendly and they took care of me with great service. I m bad to remember names but Irina, Giovanni, Fagner and all the others did a great job. Thank you. I hope to return soon.

Since I have just been staying at NH collection in Italy this summer, I booked at this one without hesitation. However, I was a bit underwhelmed! The room furniture feels a bit outdated and it wasn’t as satisfactory compared to NH in Venice or Florence! It is worth mentioning that the location is perfect, and the staff are truly polite and helpful.

Not a 4 star hotel. Rooms are run down and not what is expected of a 4 star hotel. Staff is friendly and helped the best they could, however, there were several areas lacking and I would say is false advertising to call a 4 star hotel and list amenities that are not actually available. Amenities listed on website are not available. No bathrobe or Air conditioning which are both listed as amenities. My understanding is air conditioning is not available in winter due to city law which is understandable but don’t list it as an amenity then. The room was very warm and the only solution offered was to open the window which was very noisy being in the city on a weekend. On their app when you check in it had option to request a fan, but when we asked we were told it’s not available. The room was also not acceptable condition for a 4 star, I would question even for a 3 star. Holes in sheets and curtains. Stains on furniture, mildew on shower curtain.
