I booked an apartment, but the reservation was depending on an answer I made about the acceptance of a pet in the hotel. I have not heard from them, and I canceled my stay. The reservation days passed, and I haven't received any reply or information. After these dates, the hotel started to harass me via e-mail. They informed me that they would charge me for the stay (which did not occur) and I replied, explaining the situation. However, they maintained the harassment via e-mail and informing they would charge 5€ per payment reminder. The last harassment occurred today, via e-mail. In this communication, the hotel threatened to make my data public and therefore I would not be allowed to stay in any other Belgium hotel. It has been very bad customer experience.

I could hear the heater in the room moan and roar all day and all night long. It only stopped when switched off which obviously is not an option in Belgium, especially during the winter. There was no soap or shampoo available. There was a very intense smell of (possibly toxic) insecticide in my room, almost unbearable. I could feel the cancer cells spreading all over my organs.. The location is not convenient at all and the city centre is only reachable by bus and metro combined. The so-called receptionist was almost never available or even accessible by phone, especially after 8pm. There were some dodgy faces among the customers.

I’ve stayed here a handful of times now and it’s been “bearable” enough, but definitely for the price has never been worth it. This time was the final straw. Aside from the awful smelling vinegar doused bedspread and towels, the fact that you can literally hear everything that is happening in every room on every floor due to poor design (you WILL get woken up, especialy on the ground floor), this time we dealt with NO TOILET PAPER, black mold all over the Bathroom, an excessively stinky room.. and the best part, nobody to call or assist you when these problems arise, and you are paying the same rate as an actual hotel with service. I’m officially done..staying FAR away from this sketchy place and you really should too. Spend your hard earned money elsewhere because Budget Flats does not care obviously.

Best place for its price I ever visited in Brussels. If you think, that this flat is dirty or uncomfortable - then visit Urban city centre hostel. I enjoyed staying here, administration was very nice and helped us many times with our problems. Also prices are low, so don't think it's a 5* hotel, where you will have your own butler or a sea view 😂 I like this place. 5/5

Wonderful Place, There is a few bus stops nearby which is good for public transportation. The hotel is Located in a quiet area, so you rarely hear anything except Cars going by. Woman who worked there was nice, and gave us all the info we needed to know. There is a coin operated Laundry Service which is good if you want to wash your clothes. We stayed on the second floor, there are lifts and stairs. They have a pretty good WiFi network. The only downside was that our room got to hot at times and you couldn't shut the window. This is a great hotel. I recommend.

Worst service ever, did not even stay there since I got an e-mail from them telling me my payment did not come through. To this day they keep sending me threatening e-mails telling me I have to pay. Luckily Booking.com was very helpful.

Basically there is mice in almost every apartment, the building is contaminated with them and the owners dont give a frick. Also they forget to leave booked keyes in the safe so you cant even get into your room. Avoid this place at all cost. The interior quality is also very bad and hygiene of the place is terrible.

Bed is quite hard, tap has almost no pressure, the shower has a little bit more pressure, but changes from hot to cold whenever someone else is using hot water. Connection to the metro is good, there is a bus stop at 50m distance, ask for a room at the garden side because the other side is a busy street. Room was clean and the fridge is table height and fits enough groceries for a week.

The manager is nice and make your stay in the city of Brussel more comfortable thanks to him tips, the price is very low and Anderlecht is a well situated zone... But... The cleaning, the beds, the kitten, the wc and the maintenance in general is somewhy deficient... The hotel would atract more reincident travelers with a few thins changed... Nowadays i will not go back there, sorry

Disgraceful. The apartment we were put in was nothing like the photos online. They put two female travellers in a flat that had no ventilation other than a door that opened to a communal area which was not safe at all especially considering the area is bad. The flats were like an oven in summer - no fans, nothing. The beds in our flat were camp beds, not actual beds (again not like the photos). The fridge was dirty, had not been cleaned. Floor felt dirty. We left and didn’t even stay the night because we would never have slept in the heat with no ventilation. When we complained, they told us the window did open, when in actual fact we saw that the neighbouring flat had an opening window but ours didn’t. They wouldn’t refund us either. This is extremely poor quality accommodation.and definitely don’t stay here in warm weather as the flats are like ovens.
