It was an overall very good experience, the only reason I dont give 5 stars is the location and the current ongoing construction... will probably take at least 2 more years, the hotel is surrounded by construction hence difficult to reach with a car and to unload luggage, hotel is great the rooms are clean and moderne the staff is nice and the design is very nice Mix of modern and historical features.

Excellent location, very fast and easy to reach. The rooms and beds are fine and komfortable. Dependent from room location it can be a way to walk until you reach them and the system with half floors (like 2 and 2+) is a bit confusing. The service is mostly friendly, but not always really focused on customer satisfaction. We had several issues, esp. with the booking confirmation of our breakfast - payed but the colleague at the breakfast place didn’t see it in his system. Instead of taking care about we where send again to the reception - without any result. Things like this are not matching our expectations for a 4 star hotel. Nevertheless - overall a recommendation, esp. for the comfortable location! A lot of restaurants and the city center can be reached within 15 minutes by walk.

Went for the sunday brunch, and for the price it is an amazing experience! Big variety of cold and warm food, seafood, meat, and an array of desserts. Softdrinks, water, house wines and some other drinks are included in the price. Would definitely recommend if you feel like treating yourself to an amazing buffet experience

The hotel has no parking, which is very disadvantageous. The rooms are very cold, it is not warm in the room, but the rooms are clean. The food is good.

No rooms available until 3 pm..after a v long flight, and arriving at 11 am, was a difficult wait. Was expecting to get lucky but didn’t.

Downside - the waiter said banksys money transfer was not succesfull and kept harassing us by phone and all the while the money was paid - the waiter wanted to be paid on his personal bank account!!!!! Phishing? Nice summer restaurant and beach bar Zuiderterras is its name Great service - fast if you consider the number of people were served Great food

As a business class passenger of Emirates I reserved with my miles a one night stay at the hotel. I couldnt make it for family reasons and asked to reserve instead one week later. Excellent place! Although I stayed only a night, I liked the spacious room with comfortable bed and pillows. The staff was friendly and the site is well cared for. You can also have a great beer on site.

Stayed during our last conference. I had a lovely stay. The hotel is very clean. The location is great, it is close to everything. My room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious, ample of choices. The dinner was great too! Will definitely stay there again if I go back to Mechelen.

I was there for brunch. And I didn't regret. Huge choice in cold and warm dishes. All very nicely presented in a self service system. I can't say anything about price quality balance as I was invited, but quality was excellent. Very friendly staff as well.

We had dinner there. Location top, BUT for the stake (entrecote) , if you ask 'medium', you receive ' rare'. If you ask well done, you receive 'medium'. The ice cream ('parfait') smells like fish.

This is the new in thing in Mechelen. Had brunch here with the family and we had 4 children with us. It's not on the cheap side but worth every cent. Dinners in the same restaurant highly recommended. Give it a try, don't miss it.

4/5 stars with reservations. I stayed here for 3 nights on a business trip on 2+ floor. The good Nice hotel, nice interior, friendly service, good beer bar (no ciders) and restaurant, spacious somewhat stylish room, air-con, decent sized tv, proper desk, massive mirror. Neutral Beds are a bit on the soft side so might not suit some, open concept shower without a door or wall The bad Cleanliness (longish hair and a stain on bedsheets, big running stain on toilet seat, dirty tiles in shower), towels were replaced every day even though they never were left on the floor, poor water pressure and had to wait for hot water for a while, toilet seat in a separate closet without possibility to wash hands (in a colleague’s room the toilet seat was next to bed without any walls or doors, view from window mostly blocked by a roof so you can only look upwards towards tall houses being built, small closet for clothes, no master switch for all lights.

The hotel is amazing. Great place, excellent situation. The room was great. The shower was missing power and the water was quite cold. Food at the bar was good. Good choice of drinks. One of the best breakfast buffet ever seen!
