Restaurant Korean restaurant

👍👍 Cute little Korean-ish place. Not that authentic, nor spicy enough to be real Korean, but still a very nice and cozy place. Menu is short but tasty, drinks are mostly beers and a few wines (sadly no Korean beers). Cute addition is the kombucha drink they have. They have just a few tables, so book we... People often mention Korean, good, restaurant, nice, great, dishes, service, tasty, Brussels, delicious,

Cute little Korean-ish place. Not that authentic, nor spicy enough to be real Korean, but still a very nice and cozy place. Menu is short but tasty, drinks are mostly beers and a few wines (sadly no Korean beers). Cute addition is the kombucha drink they have. They have just a few tables, so book well in advance as it gets full fast. Service is great, friendly and polite staff (speaking English is a nice bonus), fast with the food and accommodating with finding a table (even with no reservation). Nice option is that they can make almost all their dishes vegan or vegetarian. Definitely will go back.

I was really eager to try it, seeing the very good reviews. It turns out to be a very westernized version of a Korean restaurant. Gimbap, bibimbap were OK; the hotteok on the contrary was overcooked. The staff was polite; however, when one of your members coughs for 1h30 hour straight (for whatever reason), using the hands to cover the mouth, the same ones that a moment later touch our plates, napkins and chopsticks, your restaurant becomes a no-go for me. Wasn't it always common sense that if you are unwell you stay at home? Wasn't it a basic rule in restaurant industry? Especially, after everything we've been through?.. Bummer!

Best South Korean experience when visiting Brussels. Korean fried chicken was delicious, paired with fresh brew from Brussels Beer Project. Main dish authentic bibimbap was on point and best enjoyed with some shots of Soju 😋 Nightcap was one (or two?) Brussels mules 👌 Will definitely be back!

Amazing! Everything was perfect from food to service and the dishes are very reasonably priced too. Please keep in mind that this restaurant is almost always full so make sure make a reservation on their website in advance!

Book a table somewhat in advance because this restaurant gets busy really fast. The food was tasty and the service was good too.

We enjoyed our dinner here. I’m not sure if it is “authentic” korean food , but it was really tasty and fresh. We also liked that every dish was available as a veggie or vegan option. Also a very good price/quality ratio. The interior is very nice. Booking a table in advance is recommended.

The good; service. We had to wait a little to be greeted and seated but from there on out I can only compliment the waitress who was absolutely excellent. The less good; noise. We were in the backroom which has very reflective walls and nothing to dampen the sound whatsoever so it got really loud really quickly. The restaurant is pretty much always full if the reservations are anything to go by so it might be wise to put up something, anything to mitigate this. Then the food. It was good to decent but nowhere near as good as I expected it would be or have had elsewhere. For some reason it lacked a distinctive Korean taste. Not bad, but not the food experience I was hoping for.

We absolutely loved this place! The waitresses were very nice and the food was sooo tasty! It's not a cheap place (nor expensive either), but if you want to taste original and intense flavours, don't hesitate! Also, the quality of the food is very good. 100% recommended!

Incredibly tasty and filling dishes! They have nice vegan options and a solid selection of drinks and beers, even local ones, recommend if you’re looking for some good Korean food!

EXCELLENT! Nice place to eat in Brussels, pricing is great. Would be nice if you guys would add some Korean drinks (alcoholic) though ;-) Loved the fried chicken. W T F!!! I will come back for sure!!!! (The toilets could be decorated better, since they don’t match your awesome, design interior ;))

My first ever Korean restaurant and I totally loved it! It’s such a cosy place with friendly waiters. The food is delicious. I ate veggie kimbap (10 pcs) and felt like in a kdrama. It might be exaggerating but that how good it was. (in the picture you can see 9pcs cause I ate one already) The menu is available online.

From the starters, the best was the Chicken wings (we chose the sweet & spicy sauce). The bibimbap were rather disappointing due to the lack of flavor (we chose the non-spicy sauce). But we ended on a good note thanks to the dessert, it was really good (although a bit difficult to cut with a spoon).

Loved the food, definitely will come back here again! I’m giving 4 instead of 5 stars because we made a reservation for 21 and we were sat 15 minutes later and the waitress seemed almost annoyed as we were ordering…

I tried the YANGNYEOM TONGDAK with sweet and spicy sauce and it tastes delicious, very similar to the one I had in South Korea!

I booked a reservation before I came to Brussels from Copenhagen. I picked this place because they had a promising Instagram and Google Review. Because I was there alone, I chose to sit towards the big window. Since I knew what I wanted to eat, then I just chose what I wanted. It only took 5 minutes for me to receive my order! The quickest one I ever had in such a restaurant. Dolsot bibimbab was above my expectations!!! The combinations of protein and vegetables are perfect. The temperature of the bowl was perfect as well. I got the signature crusty rice covered with the sause. It was truly amazing! However, the kimchi was under my expectation. It was too crunchy. Maybe it was under fermented, or they forgot to remove the water from the cabbage with a lot of salt. I don't know. I was hoping to get a deep fermented kimchi with soft texture and pungent flavor. Aside from that, the overall experience was amazing. I fully immersed myself with the food, gloomy day, and people talking in French. If I have a chance to come back to Brussels, I will definitely come back.

We got lucky with the final seat without reservation. Good quality food and friendly service. I enjoyed the bibimbap and the side dishes.

It really sparks the curiosity when walking from outside. It has a very cozy yet classic atmosphere. Food wise is correct. We have tried the fried egg with rice and the noodles which are done nicely but will not surprise you flavor wise. The spicy chicken wings however will. They were crispy, juicy and spicy, with a reach agridulce seauce, for me the best I had that night.

A beautiful atmosphere and great ambiance is what set this Korean place apart for me.. it was one our best experience in Korean food in Brussels. The food is served beautifully and some of the dishes we ordered came in a hot stone bowl which was a treat to eat in. The kimchi pancakes were just perfect and overall food including the dessert was super delicious and a great place to hang out with friends for a warm and delicious meal! I would highly recommend it.. only thing is that you must book your table online because places go out fast even during the weekdays!

One of the best Korean restaurant in Brussels so far. Delicious and nearly authentic foods. Amazing! Must try.

The food was very tasty and the portions were filling. The interior design of the restaurant is modern and minimalistic which I love. The only problem with my experience is that the woman who I believe to be the manager/owner kept popping up to ask us if we picked our order, which really put the pressure on us because it was the first time we tried Korean and we needed some time to decide.

Very nice, modern korean food. And the waiters are so nice! We asked for half and half sauce for the fried chicken, they accidentally made it 1 sauce so she added another portion for free for us! Definitely recommend! Lunchtime there are less people, so very calm atmosphere in the restaurant.

Very nice service, and the food is good, but somehow disappointing to me. Maybe I should have taken the spicy sauce with the beef dolsot bibimbap, but with the non-spicy sauce the food was surprisingly bland. The kimchi jeon were great.

Lovely ambience, great service, and delicious traditional Korean comfort food. This cozy corner restaurant serves classic Korean stable dishes such as kimbab, honey glazed fried chicken, and dolsot bibimbap (as seen in the pics). The matcha ice-cream and mochi were a refreshing end dish after spicy kimchi. I think the highlight of the night, and what made the whole experience special, was the candle they kindly put on top of the ice-cream for my birthday. I recommend booking in advance (you can do it easily via their website) since it is quite busy even on a Tuesday night.

A real korean restaurant.we tried the fried chicken with honey it was super tasty and crunchy. The pancakes were not amazing however. Then we all tried the dolsop bibimpap which was super fresh and tasty for a reasonable price. Would definitely come again !

The setting is light but yet classy. The service maybe took slightly longer than expected but the dishes were really worth the wait. Moreover, the waiters/waitresses are very kind and welcoming. We had a fried tofu with sesame and soja-honey sauce as an appetizer - delicious way to start! Then we had the Dolsot Bibimbap, the signature meal of the restaurant. Tasty, comforting and well presented, it was the king of the evening. I recommend it.

Having been generally skeptical of having Asian food outside of Asia, as in comparison I found the taste often rather bland, I was finally proven wrong. Bap & Dak, serves proper Korean dishes with the right amount of flavor and spices (lots). Recommended!
