My first time at this establishment and I was greeted cheerfully by the owner Zach. I had many questions about the coffee and tea options and he was very knowledgeable and cordial and answered them all. The pricing is affordable and the beverages quite tasty. I chose an espresso beverage called shot in the dark which included dark chocolate. A delicious option for those who like the boulder flavors and not being overwhelmed with the sweet and creamy additives although I did ask for a splash of milk which was a perfect ratio. My companion chose the signature hugga mug with oat milk and was delighted with the outcome. The decor is very cheerful and inviting. There's comfortable seating for conversation while enjoying your beverage. This establishment is tucked away in a plaza which is easy to miss so make sure you follow your GPS. I would like to give kudos to Hannah who was not there that day but was given credit for the beautiful floor to ceiling menu that greets you when you first walk in the door. You should definitely try this wonderful place the next time you're in North Myrtle Beach.

Hug a Mug Cafe in Myrtle Beach is a comfortable place to enjoy a really good coffee. I had The Calico and it was so delicious. My everything bagel toasted and spread with real butter was delicious. Knitted items, stickers, mugs, bagged tea and other locally made items are for sale. The owner was super friendly, as well as her patient and helpful son working.

This is a cute spot near North Myrtle Beach serving delicious coffee. I love the ambience and array of options for coffee and light breakfast. We spent about 30 minutes and ordered Cortado, hot chocolate and Hug in a Mug signature coffee. The service was super friendly and the store sells neat artifacts, handmade paintings and keychains. The experience is like walking in a home artist store.

My wife and I love trying local coffee shops when we travel. We have tried numerous in the area on both the SC and NC sides and this was by far our favorite. Excellent espresso! We both got iced lattes - we got the hug-a-mug latte and mocha lattes. Both were delicious!! I highly recommend this place. They are brand new, only 1-2 weeks old but I can’t wait to see how they grow when more people find out how good this place this.

My daughter is the coffee snob and she highly recommends this place. I can tell you the cookies are AMAZING. Like coffee, this is the best place we found in North Myrtle, and we tried several.

Super cute, little local coffee shop tucked away in a hip corner—such a gem of a spot. Stopped in while visiting from out of town— the atmosphere , staff, and coffee were amazing! Check it out!

Excellent coffee spot. They focus on coffee/teas and it’s great. For those specialty coffee lovers it’s a great spot. Sugar free options available too. Had the Calico SF. Not overly sweet. Just right. Great flavors. Brewed coffee was Brazilian today. Variety of tea options. Small and limited comfy seats, but who cares.

What a wonderful place! Hug and mug had great tasting coffee. Uses a roaster who’s had experience roasting coffee beans for over 30 years! You can tell in the taste. Very friendly people, they even have a little shop for fun purchases. Along with a quaint little place to sit down and enjoy your great tasting coffee! if you’re looking to help local shops, please try this one! Nothing but a great positive experience.

We found this spot on our girls trip to Myrtle Beach. What a nice and cozy cafe. The food was hot, fresh and delicious! The atmosphere of the cafe felt like home. Soothing music, fresh scents and lots of artwork to enjoy. Don’t sleep on this place y’all. A wide variety of teas and coffees to choose from. It’s worth stopping by and experiencing for yourself. Let’s not forget the owners…very nice, friendly, kind and caring 🙂.

So glad I got to go here, great café, so welcoming you just have to sit and have that have a cup of coffee, super friendly staff, homemade cookies by mom. 2nd day in a row I stopped by. When out of my comfort zone, add a Italian eggnog latte’ and the second day had a salted caramel latte. They also sell local honey which I grabbed a jar!

10/10 experience. Zach was awesome and patiently answered all my questions and waited for me to make up my mind lol because their were so many options. I got The Calico with oat milk which was so good. Banana nut muffin was good as well. Must place to visit if you’re in Myrtle beach.

Ahhh, what a great little coffee shop! And it happens to be within walking distance of our vacation rental!! Coffee (oat milk latte) is superb, as is all the food I’ve tried so far, avocado toast and cinnamon buns. I’ll definitely be stopping in every morning of our stay!! And part of it is a beautiful little shop with an eclectic mix of gifts. So cool!!!

I love trying new muffins as it's one as my favorite foods. The butter rum muffin I had here was by far the best muffin I've ever had. The lemonade was amazing and the espressos here are made expertly as they are nice and strong but not very bitter. I was extremely impressed by this shop and will be coming back as often as possible. The workers are very curious, professional, helpful, and give great suggestions. The inside is beautifully maintained. I highly reccomend this place, including above other local places in the area.

Whether you’re going in store or having it delivered, this place never fails you! My coworkers and I enjoy them so much we have made it an every Sunday (we now call it Sloth Sunday since that’s their logo 🦥) ritual delivery! They have such a good variety of drinks -and ugh, such good wraps and deserts to go with! So worth going!!

This is my favorite cafe in Myrtle beach. I’m a vegetarian and I always get the veggie wrap and the calico iced coffee. The butterfly art in the shop is awesome too
