Really nice park for boating/swimming. Not so great for fishing since there are so many boats going by. Aside from that it's beautiful and well kept. The bathrooms were clean. The entry fee is $6 and they take card payments which is awesome.

Nice green grass under trees, but you're not supposed to be in the water. Not much to do unless you bring it, but it is kinda relaxing. Just somewhere to get out with family and pets.

Nice quiet place for family outing. Water was chilly but once you get into it you get used to it. Overall , I enjoyed the drive and location.

There are restroom, sand, fish, cement and dirt parking lot, you choose where you want to park your car. There are shade for the hot sun. Its a great place to swim and the water are clear. There are also boat launch. There are certain area that are safe for kids to swim however I would highly suggest to keep eyes on the kids because it's a river. I never did walk into the restroom so I can't say anything about it. Occasionally ice cream truck and the Mexican guy who sell snow cones and corn will show up.

Fun, inexpensive and safe place to visit. Family friendly & always guaranteed to have a good time with family of all ages. There are some mild insect encounters but nothing too serious. You can go there for a nice picnic (or table) lunch but it also accommodates for birthday parties as well. There are barbecue pits, always enough bench table seating, plenty of parking and nearby trash receptacles for easy trash disposal. The only disappointment I could say about this last visit was that there was barely any water in the river but we still had a great time.

Nice clean park in Reedley, not busy on a Tuesday afternoon. The river is up and looked inviting, but I am sure they do not allow this White Whale to get in without clothes. 3-20-2022 update water level back down to a creek/stream size, no boating out of Cricket Hollow Park. Its clean at CH the fishing is fun ,grass is nice ,decent boat launch thats never too too busy. Nice big parking lot and an all around family type place to enjoy the day. Pleade keep your dogs on a leash and leave the ferrell cats alone they are cared for.

Went on a Saturday . The beach area was packed and people not respecting social distancing. Went on tbe other side of the park and there was way less people but no swimming allowed. At least we had shade and enjoyed the view.

Lots of shade, benches, BBQs, and even more TRASH. Very pressured fishing and even though it's stocked with trout frequently, people fish it out within days. But, it's one of the most accessible spots in the area.

Fun to find the tiny shells and flecks of pyrite in the sandy river bottom when the levels are low. In the spring, tons of tadpoles and little fish. Always fun to explore.

I love this park. I visited from out of town on a Friday and happened upon this beautiful peaceful park and swimming beach on the Kings River.

Nice picnic park in Reedley and river swimming if you like. Water level is super low right now in Oct. There's clean restrooms benches and a sandy beach area when the river is flowing.

During lunchtime this place gets packed. Food was great, but the social setting is a bit jammed. If you don't like sitting next to strangers and hearing their conversations, you might not like dining in.

Very nice park to relax and eat. Public restrooms are available. I wouldn't swim in the river anymore though because lately the currents have been strong and the water is so cold. However it's nice to BBQ and chill here. The bridge view of the river is amazing.

There is two sides of the park one has a boat launch and picknik tables and a restroom. Then on the other side across the road is a area where parents can watch their kids swim but the water is unpredickebel and there has been more than one swimming accident there.
