Food was good. The presentation of food was good in clay pots. But it would have been great if the price was reasonable. Felt way to expensive. And no parking, no upi. If you want to go for one time then would say it's ok. But frequently, then choose some other restaurant.

No doubt about the food, it's tasty and the way they use the clay pot and jars added to the taste of the food but to be honest, the food is expensive out there, so if you're willing to spend, you can always try their ethnic Manipuri thali, ordered fish and pork for me and my friend and the bill was 1180.. Anyways, there's no harm in spending if you're eating good food๐Ÿ‘prompt service and the also the owner is a friendly. We even got to try some other dish and extra bowl of Kheer for free..

I would rated 5 stars if only the prices could be a little low. I understand the standard of the food. But still if you guys could make it up then it would be awsome .

Food is ok. And yes I agree with the other review commenters that the food is very expensive ๐Ÿ˜ข Went to try Manipur Thali but paid too much, still regretting it. Plus they served it after half an hour.๐Ÿ˜ข plus no online payment.๐Ÿ˜“ Big mistake going there.

My wife and I are vegetarians. Not an impressive spread for the vegetarians. Per person serving is priced at 230 INR, which is overpriced for the quantity and the variety of food that you get. Talking about the quantity, they serve only one platter of the main course that needs to be shared between two people. As far as the food taste is concerned it doesn't taste authentic.

A must visit whenever youโ€™re in Guwahati. The place is easy to locate . Very hygienic and you can get a variety of Manipuri dishes. The food is served in earthen plates and bowls giving you that ethnic vibe. Delicious and homely food.

I rewrite this again, once upon a time, sangai manipuri was the best place to eat tasty and organic manipuri dishes, now the price is too high and the taste of the food is not good. And unhygienic ways to serve foods . The staff politely approached The show case of food items that looks amazing but the taste was worst.

Worst restaurant ever. At the same time most expensive ever. 5 piece of pork costs 300. 5 piece of chicken cost 250. Veg thali was extra. Per scoop of extra rice cost Rs 10. They even charged 10 rupees on the water bottle. And no online payment available. Best advice & best recommendation is to avoid. If your mattress is made of cash, then you may surely try, otherwise strongly avoid. No GST bills

Had the worst experience ever. Before in 2015-2018 it was the best. Now it's Very expensive. They don't serve the food. They just give it in clay pot and we have to serve the food ourselves. Bad receptionist. No UPI payment option. Only cash. For a plate of manipuri rice, go the nearby hotels in Manipuri Basti, ulubari near this place where it only cost 200 INR per plate of chicken. Whereas in this hotel, a simple rice thali cost around 200 INR with chicken and pork at 400 and 200 respectively, that too separately. Moreover, on the hotel bill board they depicted a Galo Woman from Arunachal Pradesh instead of Manipuri girl. Never visiting it again.

HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDABLE. Disappointed with the price they fixed for the menu.. It was not something extraordinary that they served . Better to have manipuri thali in other nearby manipuri hotels which are better in service, good taste and reasonable price. They deal only on cash .. neither they will give u any receipt/GST Bill. * Overpriced menu * Poor Service * Deals only in CASH (which is a matter of concern). No GST bills.

Well maintained place..usually crowded. Open from 630in morning till 930night. You can choose side dishes of pork chicken crab and all along with thali costing 120. Reasonable and enough for a person who is looking out for pocket friendly shop.

Visited many times from last several years and enjoyed the food though a price was bit high. But it was a worst experiences in my last visit in this month. Surprisingly, I felt bit unattended. Ordered Manipur Thali for 3 person's, 2 veg & 1 non veg. The food served was not upto date as earlier they used to. Two piece of slashed onion for 3 person. When asked... is all finished, replied. Two bowls of Kheer for 3person without spoon. There was only 1 attendants who was not welcoming. Hope it will be rectified and maintain the glory.

A year ago this was one of the best Manipuri restaurant with ethnic cuisine, ethnic service (Waiters wearing traditional mitei attire) serving and displaying fress veggies and food but now none of this is there. A totally pathetic food, pathetic service, and Pkoura subji was spoiled and smelling. And as usual I felt overpaid for pathetic food and service. Don't go to this place because it is same as some local restaurant now.

Hopeless..... If i knew I would never try out here!! The price is sky high ๐Ÿ™„ Hopeless.. Don't come here because you can get authentic food at much more reasonable prices elsewhere around Manipuri basti. And lastly... There is no online payment โŒonly cash which is so funny๐Ÿ™„.

The manager or the owner who sit in the case counter is arrogant don't know how to talk and they don't serve you well since they just look after their own people. The pricing is prohibitively expensive for a first-time visit. As I ordered pork fry they just bought something else as such I cancel reordered and again they bought similar item with high price. Seriously ๐Ÿ˜ณ #disappointed #frustrated # never ever going to any so called #SANGHAI RESTRO fxxxxxxxxx

Only rice was served in clay and it was stale. The entire dishes are served in steel plate and plastic bowls. A small bowl of mutton cost 400. We bought 3 thali and per thali was 250. Total of 3 was 1650. I dont mind if the food taste good and fresh but it wasn't. It's an exorbitant price for stale foods. The whole ambiance is dirty with house flies flying around. Better visit some other good indian or chinese restaurant than visit this restaurant.Terrible experience overall. Never visiting again.

Food is good. But very spicy. If you like spicy and authentic NE food then this is for you. Fish curry is worth. One problem is that they only accept Cash. No online payment. Even bill is handwritten. So for claim it might be difficult. But for one time memory it is worth.

The price of the food is too high and itโ€™s not reasonable according to the quantity. The taste of the food is also normal like a Manipuri dhaba nothing special there and took money like a 5 star hotel. Literally waste of money. Donโ€™t go there ever!

Some foods were good some weren't. Cost is comparatively high. A simple platter could have been more inviting than all the thok thak of earthen bowls and the red dhotis. Menu selection has alot of options from vegetarian foods to non veg. It's not on the ground level, you've to climb stairs.
