It’s a good spot for a quiet breakfast and coffee. The menu was interesting. I went for a Cherry Breakfast not quite sure what to expect and was pleasantly surprised.

Quiet place inside the Canberra Centre near Muji for coffee and breakfast when it’s cold and windy outside. Order and pay at the counter. Grab a number and wait for drinks and food to be served at your table. Food and coffee were good. Friendly staff.

The store has workers who do not know how to take an order, plus we got ripped of from the place. Horrible store.

Nice quiet little spot for a quick coffee and lunch. Located in one of my favourite corners in the Canberra Centre, Cherry Beans has a nice small menu, great specials and good coffee. Haloumi bruschetta was really good - very fresh ingredients. A peaceful break from the hustle of the main centre.

This Caffe isn't your standard Cherry Beans... in a great way. The staff are exceptional and consistent delivering top tier service with a friendly smile. The food is amazing especially their breakfast wraps! and the coffee is always made to a high quality standard. If you work or are visiting the Canberra Centre I highly recommend trying out this gem of a Caffe.

Went there with friends for afternoon tea. They served us with wrong tea flavor and ridiculously the attitude of the waiter was super super rude. The waiter was pointing her fingers to us blaming us for drinking the tea . If we didnt drink it how would we find out it was not the tea we ordered. This is Australia with kind and friendly people around, but this incident made us feel we are not at home. This kind of staff attitude should not be in the hospitality business, PLEASE Giving this outlet a 1 star is already too many

Had a Alex’s breakfast this morning. Their food and drink were delicious and served me pretty fast. If their staffs clean the tables once customers leave rather than only taking cups and plates, it would be much better place

Nice little cafe in a rare quiet corner of the Canberra centre. Very handy especially if you have a young child. Nice food. Service a little relaxed. Will visit again.

Very nice and friendly service, staff even asked a couple nicely to move to another table so we could all of us sit together (6 people). Great coffee also, location is good , not too noisy and isolated from the crowd.

Quick service, delicious hot chocolate and decent enough coffee. open at 8am when everything else in the building is still closed, directly above the parents room so conveniently located while 1 parent is changing a nappy for the other to get coffees. Lifts nearby for pram access.

20 minutes wait for coffee. Cake was average. And getting a seat was not great as many tables had not been cleared.

We ordered 2 Takeaway Iced drinks- 1 latte & 1 soy green tea latte. Unfortunately, the staff did not make one green tea latte as Iced & we had to get it replaced to Iced. They then did not do it properly again as they didn’t make it with soy milk the second time around. The staff were clearly un-attentive and were not communicating with each other to provide a satisfactory service. Overall, the coffee was great but customer service could be better.

Friendly staff and enough space for a pram which is handy. Check in was easy and there is a decent menu and some great specials. The coffee is decent too

Busy cafe tucked in a nook in Canberra centre. I found the green tea latte a little too sweet but it was overall a good spot for a quick coffee.

Great place for food and coffee, we had pancakes and the granola bowl, great food, rich hot chocolate with multiple flavour options depending on how rich you want them.

Outstanding service food and coffee really impressed. I was shocked when my eggs Benedict came out looking completely different to other branches but it was far superior!

Best coffee in town! Good Menu with lots of option and what I like best is they have an All day Menu, I can order my fave french toast in the middle of the day🙂. They also have the best French Toast so far in all Cafe's I've tried in Canberra. Chef's Special is also a must try and again coffee is 👌. Their staff are very friendly and accomodating wearing their beautiful smiles all the time. Highly recommended and will surely come back👍

Good mocha as you can see as well as a small but delicious pancake/crepe. Franchise nicely located on the first floor of the Canberra centre surrounded by many other shops and businesses. Has got some solid choices for lunch as well and gets quite full aroubd lunch time.

Very disappointing. Today was my 4th visit to Caffe Cherry Beans in the Canberra Centre. Based on my first 3 visits, I would have said lovely staff, lovely coffee, lovely place to relax. However, today, the 2 cappuccinos that I had were so bad that they were on the verge of being undrinkable and left an awful aftertaste that lasted for at least 2 hours after I left, the barista today (who was different to the barista on my previous 3 visits) was completely devoid of any friendliness toward customers, and the place was filthy with food scraps and spilled drinks on many of the tables (and it was mid-afternoon with the cafe almost empty so it wasn't a case of the staff being too busy - they simply didn't care to clean the tables). Given how bad today's experience was, I can't possibly recommend to anyone that they take a chance on going there. I certainly won't ever go back - there are plenty of other coffee spots in the Canberra Centre.

Their hot chocolate is the best, not made from powder. They have three hot chocolate flavours - dark, white & milk and they make it from Belgian chocolate buttons.

  • 1/5 Souri C. 6 months ago on Google
The chairs near the far end are quite unclean (full of stains); I inspected three tables but couldn't find any chairs in good condition. Additionally, I requested an orange juice without ice, but there was a mistake, and it was served with ice. I informed them, and the corrected cup was returned, though it was only filled about two-third. I did not drink it as I consider ice machines and restaurants ice unhygienic in general. Their special was too oily - haloumi was below average.

Croissant looks like a bread/bun (no fermentation?). The espresso was burnt. My wife had a smashed avo which was sweet. The cheesecake was good.

This cafe is very fast with service. As to the food, I only order raisin toast, but judging what other people are eating, the place is always packed

This is THE best cafe I've ever been to (and I've been to a lot!). Their staff are super friendly, the time taken for preparation is fast, and the food is absolutely amazing (more specifically, their lattes). It's also located in a peaceful and beautiful corner inside the city centre, and if it was closer to home, I would go there everyday.

The staff are very accommodating and polite, I ended up getting a salad and it was fantastic. You have multiple options incase you are vegetarian or vegan. And everything came out in less then 20-30 minutes! I highly recommend this.

I must be invisible. Not sure if they are seated service or order at the counter. Stood at the counter for a couple of minutes with the staff refusing to make eye contact. Went to the Green House around the corner instead.

The food was excellent, well priced and delivered promptly. A quieter location than the very busy food court was a nice change. Highly recommended.

A restaurant with simple but quality menu. Trying to cut the fish and chips on soup bowl was hard.

  • 3/5 La m. 4 years ago on Google
Not bad, food and drinks were good. I suppose they were busy and under staffed as the tables were not wiped but no big deal. Satisfactory lunch. Must point out that the avocado smoothie was awesome.

  • 4/5 Amy U. 3 years ago on Google
I love coming here. A bit stingy on the side of Avocado + side of scrambled eggs. Some cafe cherry beans give you a whole grilled tomato cut in half if you order as a side, this particular one gives you one half. Would recommend them laminating their menus so that can be wiped down between each customer. They look worn and dirty.

Have been coming here on and off for the last 2 years. Food is great, drinks are great, coffee is great ... but more importantly ... the staff are great. The weekend staff didn't seem as friendly as the weekday staff, but that could have been because it was busy. However, during the week, the staff always take the time to make you feel welcome.

If I could give 7 stars I would. 2 days in a row we came here. Both days the service, food and drinks were all amazing. Our new go to cafe when visiting Canberra.

Service is friendly, attentive and very quick. Almond cappuccino was one of the best I have had incredibly smooth and creamy. However, the advocado and chicken melt, while very generous on size, lacked taste other than the cheese topping. And the chips that accompanied it were not crisp. Even so I would definitely return to this cafe.

The lighting of the cafe needs to be brighter in my opinion to be more prominent and for customers and passerbies to have safe movement.

Comfortable seats set the scene for an enjoyable meal in a hidden nook of the otherwise busy mall. Friendly staff and cheerful menu choices are the differentiating factor. Highly recommended for a quiet location and good meal.

Food was very slow to come out, and we waited a long time for one of our coffees (the iced coffee came out quickly though). We had to check in to find out what was happening - not sure if it was forgotten. We eventually got our food after a long wait, and it was OK - nothing spectacular, particularly considering the long wait. I would go check out some other cafes before returning here.
