I had the best experience at this location. I had an appointment to check my prescription and Jacqui was patient and friendly, the entire check up was fast. The gentleman at the front whose name I didn't catch, was enthusiastic about helping me pick glasses and almost immediately chose 2 pairs which I really liked. Am waiting on my glasses to be made but am very very impressed and had overall an amazing experience! Please pass my compliments towards your staff.

One of the friendliest Bailey Nelson stores I have ever been to. I have moved around a bit and been to a couple of them through the years. Emma the optometrist was great and patiently answered my questions. Mitch and Dani at the front were friendly and helpful in selecting the right frames also! Fixed up my old frame too. Cannot ask for a better experience!

Jacqui is such an amazing optometrist, took the time to really understand my needs and concerns. The front staff were very welcoming and helpful too! Really affordable eye test too. Defo will return.

The staff are always bright and welcoming. The person who did my eye test was attentive and through. She made sure I felt comfortable and anything that she wanted to check over again she explained to me and made sure I understood why she was going to do it again. Overall I've always had a good experience with the Bailey Nelson crew.

The optometrist Camello was very thorough in the free assessment. It felt like I went through a hundred different tests. I was having trouble articulating my sight problems but she assessed everything and explained every issue she was finding. Aside from the glasses prescription, she also advised other things I could do to help my dry eyes. I felt very well taken care of. I just would have liked a written report to refer to, because it's hard for me to remember everything said in a consultation. The staff at the desk were very friendly. They happily adjusted the glasses sizing for me because they were too tight, and now they feel great. I would have liked some more guidance on frames and pricing when purchasing the glasses (my first pair in a long time) and specific guidance when I picked them up (a reminder of how they should be helping/might not be helping, how to work with the relaxer lenses effectively, what to do if there are issues, etc). But when I asked what to do if I have issues, I was told I can call anytime and come in so they can review my lenses and prescription so this was very comforting.

I had a really great experience at Bailey Nelson in Canberra. I had previously purchased a pair of glasses and sunglasses from Bailey Nelson and decided to move my eye tests there as well due to the positive experience. I recently had my eyes re tested and the experience of the eye test and buying glasses was great

Good variety of glasses. There was one other person leaving as I went in today to have a look for new glasses. 1 staff member on, but zero greeting or acknowledgement. She was just moving a little table around and tidying up. I wandered around the store and tried on a few pairs of glasses, and still no service. Her team member came in and got a hi, which is nice. Previously, I've been here and got my glasses, and even though they were busy, the service was great.

Just had the most wonderful experience at you Civic Branch ACT. By chance I wandered into your store slightly dejected unable to find a suitable pair of eye glasses and within budget. Within a few moments I was pleasantly approached by your sales consultant Jennifer and to my surprise we found the most perfect frame that exceeded my expectations and budget. The purchase of glasses is a very personal choice so I just wanted to say thanks to Jennifer for her professional and understanding nature. I'm so excited to off my new frames and confidence. The business is easy to find, staff were lovely & friendly, optometrist was great - explained every step in the eye health check process clearly, recommended a good product for dry eye, explained the test results in an easy to understand way. Highly recommend, especially if it's your first time getting an eye health check up or if nervous/anxious.

They were very welcoming and encouraging to me who had never had an eye test done before, the service was warm and friendly and I felt that I was in good hands. 10/10 would recommend to anyone wanting do get their eyes tested or need some new frames :)

I have bought 3 pairs of prescription glasses from Bailey Nelson, Canberra centre. I’m very pleased with all three pairs and consider them excellent value. The service was also excellent. I was indulged in a last minute frame colour change (same frame, just different colour, so same lenses could be used). Frames ready within the timeline guidance and staff were very helpful and friendly.

Great selection of on trend frames. I started out by finding a couple of pairs of frames I liked online, and then went to try them on in-store. The team was really nice and bubbly, which made purchasing my new glasses a speedy, straightforward, stress-free experience. They fit perfectly and I’m very happy to be able to see properly again!

The awesome gal with the blue hair went above and beyond for me (including indulging my 4yo in some enthusiastic listening to her stories) she helped me choose the right specs for my face, and chased up my sunnies when they suffered a glitch in the delivery system and we’re delayed. The optometrist was also really awesome.

The optometrist who examined me was excellent, the glasses were delivered quickly and very well made.

I always enjoy visiting the BN store in the Canberra Centre. The staff are welcoming and enthusiastic. The care and efficiency of the optometrist is first class and thorough using the latest equipment. Can’t wait to try see the new glasses with the post cataract surgery new script for multi focals in an out there colourful frame!

I have been to a number of optometrists over my long lifetime but this was by far my best experience. Jacqui was thorough, friendly and explained everything well. It was nice to go into a practice where the assistants were cheerful and helpful. A most positive experience.

Very positive experience here. My pair of glasses fell onto the floor this afternoon and one the arms was bent outwards, so I took them to Bailey Nelson to see if these guys can help me a bit. Staff at the shop were really helpful, one of the guys used tools to help me rectify the arm. The glasses got fixed in just 3 minutes. Appreciate a lot for the help.

I loved being able to book online after hours and get an appointment the very next day. I highly recommend Camella who is a friendly, warm and highly professional optometrist. She listened and understood my needs, recommended eye drops and other helpful strategies, and wrote an excellent report to assist. Thanks again for your help, so greatly appreciated! I would like everyone to know that Jo at the Canberra centre store was unbelievably helpful and kind to me when I asked for some help and a favour Re my contact lenses. When I thanked him for being so wonderful he said he likes to treat people the way he would like to be treated! Also Jacqui the optometrist has been very kind to me on two seperate occasions going above and beyond her job nothing was too much trouble and the follow up to my specialist was done without asking. I am the first person to complain when service is poor I cannot rate these two Bailey and Nelson staff members in the Canberra center store highly enough and I hope that Bailey Nelson management do something truly wonderful for them both - paid leave or a bonus - something wonderful to acknowledge their work. I am moving out of the ACT to country NSW but will continue to purchase online from this wonderful company. Their prices are thé best I have found too!

Am very pleased with my first visit to your store which I walked into without expecting much. Your staff were professional. The optometrist was totally professional and most helpful in suggesting a treatment for me. The prices of the frames is very competitive and the range is good. I have recommended your place to my friends and will be encouraging my husband to attend as well

The only recommendation I will make is Bailey Nelson going forward because of the service also I’m obsessing over how perfect my new glasses are for me , so if you’re reading this debating wether to go or not this is your sign to go!
