Amazing history. How the Natives shared Mother Earth and just ate what they required. From this hill, I could imagine looking for buffalo or deer. Quite a view with binoculars. Felt ancient and spirit filled. Good conversation, were they living the best way? In harmony with mother earth? Did the explorers and imigrants bring goodness? Or death to mankind. Too late now.

Well preserved and lively site. Take a 15min detour. It's more than worth a quick stop to break up the monotony of prairie drive.

Sea of grass as far as the eye can see in nearly all directions. It's worth stopping in. Just a ways down a gravel road.

Documentation of a celestial event. Looks like comets with tails. Iron meteorite found 40 km away south east. Rock on the east side possible solstice or equinox alignment. Gently rolling hills actually giant ripples from the flood. Native people want their meteorite back from the U of A.

😐 Campground was just ok. The female owner is a bit of a sour black rain cloud. If you can get the guy to deal with he’s really really friendly. The full service stalls aren’t totally private. The bushes are pretty thin. The campground was clean and quiet at night. We’d go back if there wasn’t much ot...
