😠 Terrible! Catering order tray of eggplant was cold in the middle. Called and owners response was, "what do you want me to do? Come over and heat it up for you" Also missing condiments and serving spoons. Bad customer service and very bad attitude. People often mention sandwich, time, great, hero, beef,

Extremely poor customer service. I catered food to be delivered at 1245PM but delivery arrived at 1220PM while the office was still closed. They left and refused to make another delivery. They accused me of putting down the wrong time when in fact I have the email indicating 1245PM delivery time. My first and last time patronaging this establishment.

Just okay. I bought the chicken bruschetta many times but once I called the owner and complained about a bad piece. Mind you it was$9.00 dollars. He was rude and basically told me I was wrong. I threw it in the garage and never went back. Salpino's would never do that to a great customer.

Have had some questionable experiences at EMF in the past, but will not be going back after the latest. Beware of a belligerent runt wearing a baseball cap in the deli section. He is rude, obnoxious, and somehow thought he had the right to vocally berate me because I did not want turkey sliced from an end piece that was lying unprotected on a counter and looked as if a wolf had gnawed on it. Perhaps he should have considered a career path other than the delicatessen sciences. Do yourself a favor, drive the few extra miles to Uncle G's in Melville.

This is the second time my husband bought tons of prepared foods worth over $100 from there and just like the first time, potato salad is completely sour and definitely way past its expiration date, shrimp salad is bad, macaroni salad and lasagna - EVERYTHING is SOUR and not edible. I am so mad he decided to return. Now I am scared my little kids will get sick because we put everything on their plates and they took a few bites before spitting food out. Are they trying their own food?! It says expiration is March 11 - today is March 7! Not OK and NOT SAFE! Someone please send food inspectors to that place! We will never step out feet into this so called Gourmet Italian.

Have to say was in love with this place last 2 visits. Today we ordered sandwiches to go and we were over charged on 1 and the other hero barely had any roast beef in it. 1 sandwich was the roast beef melt barely had roast beef on it melted cheese on garlic bread with gravy and 3-4 slices of roast beef. Now we just ordered this yesterday and it was stacked the reason for the return visit. The other sandwich exact same one was stacked so my brothers shared the 1 half sandwich with the other. We were starving! The roast beef is $14.00 a sandwich. I felt a call to the store was in order maybe a credit on return. In addition I got a chicken parm on a hero the bread was half a hero and I we were charged $11.00. The girl who answered the phone said they ran out of bread they are closing early for a wedding and there are several new people in the back. Whaaaat? I said could we just have a credit on the sandwich for next time seems fair? She said well it’s already eaten but I’ll let them know about the problem. I said even if I through it out I wasn’t coming all the way there with it. Should I have took pictures? We were too busy looking for the meat we took it apart! The manager got on the phone and sounded as if he didn’t believe me & had a bad attitude and found it hard to believe. Mind you I was very nice because I know them by face in there..they seem like good people never had an issue. Like what did he think I just felt like calling out of nowhere and make something up so absurd. He kept saying the hero’s are weighed and he had to go cause their busy almost hung up on me. We do not live around the corner or I’d bring back the hero the moment I saw it. My brothers drove 17 mins to get them because how good the hero was yesterday. We spent over $60.00 in your store, be grateful for business. Peter, in a time of recession and inflation you want people to come back not turn their back. So Disappointed in the attitude and overall customer service I don’t know if I’ll be back or recommend them after this.

I ordered the Texan sandwich, one of the best sandwiches I had ever. He even said “this is a good sandwich” and it was amazing.

Great food & great catering. Lots of great pre-cooked meals and salads. Can’t wait to try your gluten free turkey stuffing for Thanksgiving this year.

We love it, small store, fresh meats, chicken fish, fruits, veggies and nice desserts! The people that work there are very sweet and helpful. Excellent selection of prepared foods and one of the few places with wagyu beef.

Bought a bunch of different items today - all very good ! Best part was the G G specialty ….. amazing sandwich, beautifully made… crispy chicken, lettuce, tomato, cheese, red onion with a specialty sauce. Delicious!!!

The last two times the food from the deli was awful. It was very salty and yesterday I got hot wings. They tasted so bad that I threw them out. They didn't taste fresh so that was the end of my dinner. Disappointing!

LOVE this place! From breakfast to lunch to dinner, their food is fantastic and their prices are more than fair. Excellent service, friendly staff. They quickly became my new "go-to" for breakfast and lunch while at work, and many times I've brought dinner home from them too. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
