Dr. Samer Hage operated on me & replaced my 2 hips last Thursday. I walked 2.5 hrs after operation! He is 1 of the most straightforward, honest with positive energy I’ve ever seen in my life. Believe me I saw a lot of very well known Drs. / Surgeons & no one was able 2 help on this since & as a consequence 2 my injury I had lower back pain & they only focused on my lower back & how 2 treat it. Dr Samer Hage is one of the most fantastic doctors I have ever met, professional, caring and above all an excellent and skilled surgeon. After having struggled for over 10 years with my right hip, I got his name from a friend in Lebanon who said he was one of the pioneers of modern hip surgery in the region. I travelled all the way from Germany to see him at his office. He explained to me that my collapsed head of the femur was at a very advanced stage, and that the only solution for me was to do a hip replacement. I came back to Beirut a month later and he performed my hip replacement by the direct anterior approach, with a very small bikini type incision. Recovery was much much quicker than expected: walked a couple of hours after surgery, first few steps with walker then he held my hand for a couple of steps then let me walk alone. I couldn't believe it!!! He even made me go up and down the stairs and I went back home the next day! My pain went away immediately, as if it was by magic! I wish I had met him earlier. I have had my hip replacement for 2 years now and never felt better! I recommend him without hesitation to anyone who needs a minimally invasive hip replacement

Writing a review about Dr. samer Hage is really challenging because our experience was totally perfect. People suffer on a daily basis from the repercussions of an unsatisfactory healthcare experience. My target is not only to thank Dr.Samer Hage but especially to alleviate this bitter experience for people who need an orthopedic surgeon. All details are worth telling to show our deep appreciation and especially to help anyone who need an orthopedic treatment to have the same excellent chance we had with Dr. Hage. My husband (56 year old) suffered from a hip injury and could not follow up normal daily activities and especially his favourite sports without serious pain. It was obvious that he needed a Total hip replacement and more obvious that we were lucky and blessed to have landed at Dr. Hage clinic: No rush or stress or pressure, he spent all necessary time explaining the injury 's condition and all related medical details. We were surprised to see a doctor give much detailed explanations with such passion and enthusiasm, and all necessary time again to answer our questions and concerns....the interaction was great and it was too good to be true. On our 2nd appointment: He explained further technical details about the surgery, the new approach for hip replacement wich he helped introduce to the region and insured we understood the procedure and especially what to expect post surgery so we could make an informed decision. THE SURGERY went smoothly and exactly as described and by Dr. Samer Hage: No surpises, no stress and he delivered all what was promised earlier, just to name few details: 2 hours after the surgery he made my husband walk and climb stairs. No walker was needed in my husband's case. No swelling in my husband's case. No strong pain killers. Normal motion after 4 days and post- surgery bonus miracle, NO PAIN....Not only he did a great job, but the whole surgery was a breath of fresh air to say the least. So if you want a master class in watching a doctor bring medical knowledge while building a connection and interacting with the patient, watch Dr.Samer Hage. His practice is terrific, he combines expertise and a willingness to listen and discuss. The best orthopedic surgeon in Lebanon. He did for me a total hip surgery. He finished the surgery at 2:00 pm. Passed by me at 5:00 pm of the same day and asked me to walk with him in the corridor of the hospital. It was easy. Then asked me to go up and down the stairs. Also I did it. I recently broke my foot, and Dr Samer was the second doctor I went to for consultation, as I had not been satisfied with the first doctor's assessment. The way Dr Samer explained my injury to me, pulling up slides and images on his screen, showing me the problems on my live foot, and the detailed treatment procedure he described, is unprecedented for me, neither in my experience with the first doctor I saw (horrible assessment, rude and lazy communication, and for the same price!), nor with any of my past injury consultations. Professional, communicative, recommended.

I did a hallux valgus surgery for esthetic reasons. Dr Samer was very supportive, professional, scientific and not the forget mentioning friendly. The surgery was a great success, I had no pain after the surgery and was able to resume normal activity 3 weeks post-op. Highly recommended.
