We
recently
had
our
destination
wedding
at
stone
and
I
have
some
mixed
feeling
about
it.
I’ll
start
with
the
positives:
-
the
wedding
coordinator
Jennifer
is
absolutely
incredible,
helped
us
book
and
plan
everything
while
we
were
halfway
across
the
world.
Worked
with
our
small
number
of
guests
and
was
soooo
sweet
throughout
it
all.
I
had
personalized
name
tags
for
each
person
+
souvenirs
and
she
placed
everything
perfectly
how
I
wanted.
She
was
super
flexible
and
worked
hard,
I
really
really
appreciate
her!!
-
The
food
was
very
good
and
they
served
a
lot
of
food
-
The
venue
itself
is
beautiful
so
it
does
not
require
a
lot
of
decorating
-
They
offer
an
all
inclusive
package
where
the
only
thing
you
need
to
bring
is
flowers,
photographer,
and
zaffe
-
They
worked
hard
for
me
to
have
the
vendors
I
wanted.
They
were
able
to
get
the
photo
bus
inside
the
venue
(which
was
difficult)
and
allowed
the
musician
I
chose
to
bring
their
own
sound
equipment
which
is
a
big
plus.
-
The
entrance,
fireworks,
first
dance
were
well
organized
and
all
went
as
planned
Negatives
:
-
the
service
at
the
wedding:
at
the
actual
wedding
day
there
was
an
additional
wedding
coordinator
(Ismail?)
that
was
rushing
me
throughout
the
whole
night.
From
the
minute
I
stepped
into
the
venue
he’s
pushing
me
to
hurry
in
everything
we
did
and
rushing
the
guests
to
leave
the
welcome
drink
area
(mind
you
we
paid
for
one
hour
for
musician
and
photo
bus)
and
we
were
15
min
before
the
planned
dinner
time.
Past
forward
to
the
dinner
we
initially
talked
about
ending
the
wedding
around
11ish
depending
on
how
we
feel,
he
comes
to
me
at
9:45
asking
me
if
I
want
to
cut
the
cake
now
while
everyone
was
dancing.
I
said
let’s
wait
until
at
least
10:30
then
see
how
we
feel,
EXACTLY
at
10:30
while
people
were
dancing
and
having
fun
he
shuts
off
the
music
and
tells
me
it’s
time
to
cut
the
cake,
which
is
an
indirect
way
of
saying
it’s
time
to
go.
Given
all
that
is
said
above,
I
felt
that
since
the
wedding
was
small
it
was
not
worth
his
time
and
he
just
wanted
to
end
it
ASAP.
-
The
next
day
as
I’m
talking
to
my
guests
I
find
out
that
there
was
no
alcohol
served
or
offered
during
the
welcome
drink,
yet
during
our
pre
wedding
discussion
there
was
supposed
to
be
an
open
bar
(that’s
the
main
point
of
having
a
welcome
drink
area).
Instead
the
guests
were
offered
various
juices
and
very
few
pieces
of
the
saj
fatayer.
When
I
questioned
why
there
was
no
alcohol
served,
the
response
I
got
from
the
same
guy
was
“we
don’t
serve
alcohol
because
in
case
there’s
Muslim
people
they
may
get
offended”
???
Which
is
one
of
the
worst
excuses
I’ve
ever
heard.
Religion
should
never
be
a
topic
that
gets
brought
up
and
it
is
non
of
his
business
regardless.
I
was
later
told
that
guests
have
to
request
the
alcohol
but
not
offered,
no
that’s
not
how
welcome
drinks
works,
and
if
so
that
should
have
been
communicated
to
me
before.
-
Lastly,
2
guests
informed
me
that
the
waiter
started
removing
the
meat
while
they
were
eating
and
the
plate
was
still
full,
when
she
questioned
him
why
is
it
being
removed
this
early
she
was
told
“that’s
the
instructions
we
received
because
the
we
have
to
follow
the
bride’s
timeline”
Again
what???
Overall,
the
wedding
was
beautiful
and
we
all
had
a
great
time,
they
do
get
credit
for
all
the
positives
mention
above.
The
rushing
was
done
behind
the
scenes
where
the
guests
may
not
have
felt
it
as
much
thankfully.
I
feel
that
if
the
guy
wedding
coordinator
was
not
there,
the
night
would
have
been
nearly
perfect.
After
bringing
up
the
things
I
was
upset
with,
Jennifer
did
sincerely
apologize
on
his
behalf
which
she
did
not
have
to.
If
you
do
choose
this
venue
be
warned
of
the
above
and
communicate
about
every
single
detail
of
the
day
before
hand.
