We used to come often and we were so sad when they closed down. Just had lunch here and it was fantastic. Its a gorgeous venue and apart from the amazing view and breezes coming in through their beautiful huge windows, the food was delicious especially the grills and tabbouleh. The servers were all so kind and helpful always checking in if we need anything. Definitely coming back and bringing friends and family! Thank you to metre Tarek and all the kind staff.

When you want to escape Beirut’s hot weather, Al Sakhra restaurant is the ideal family destination for you to attend. It’s not only about the food; its also about the experience you get being in such a traditional place. From the moment we reached there, we were greeted by the Valet. Then, we were welcomed by Karam the freindly and knowledgeable captin who served us. Then comes the food!! Its delicious and satisfying. To those of you who have kids, you'll be grateful for the playground they have. The ambiance is superb, I highly recommend this restaurant, the food was amazing and the service was fantastic. Don’t forget to order the special Arabic Coffee they serve!!

I visited this restaurant last week and as far as I have seen the food was average overall with some dishes being good and some being bad, in addition to the view which was pleasant. However, this is by far the worst service which I have received during my vacation in Lebanon. The waiters were so not attentive and some were rude. We had to to wait for a while before anyone shows attention and they did things to hint that we should give them tips which I consider to be so unprofessional. They only had one type of instrumental music which was boring and loud, I had to ask multiple times till they reduced it. The portion of the food was technically small but the same price comparing to other similar restaurants within this category that I have visited. Generally I don’t mind having average food as long as the place is welcoming but based on the service I received in that visit I wouldn’t go there again because it ruined my overall experience.

Sakhra is the ultimate Lebanese culinary experience. The only place I would eat raw meat, but also everything tastes so good my personal favorites: makanek with lemon, hommus with lahmeh, kafta sandos … paired with Arak and some great shisha service. Love this place, no better place to spend a weekend family meal.

Food is less than normal..

This restaurant is simply amazing. From the view to the food, everything is amazing. This place is great for kids and adults and the service here is excellent. The view is very relaxing and peaceful and fits the whole theme of the place, I have been going here since I was a kid and I'm happy to say that almost nothing has changed. This place will always be a favorite!
