Terwi2et Ghosn is probably one of my new favorite traditional Lebanese places. Located in one of Jounieh’s tight roads, the restaurant boasts of only a few tables, where people are mesmerizing their Fool or Balila platters. Once you get in, Mr.Ghosn greets you himself, reads-out the Menu, then recommends his speciality plates. He also invites you to watch and learn the technique or Garlic smashing and Lemon pressing, which all blends into this delicious oily plate of the freshest Hummus you’ve ever tasted. Served with hot Arabic Bread, veggies and Olives, your first bite will bring you back to Ghosn again, and again, and again..! Value for Money: 10/10 Taste: 9,5/10 Location: 6/10

The best tasting breakfast in all of Lebanon. The food is made with love and only the freshest ingredients. The flavour and aroma of the food is a serious addiction. Going once is not enough.

There is so much history here in this store. The owners grandfather started this store and it has been kept in the family. The owner is very passionate about the food he creates. You can taste the TLC in every plate. The chickpeas melt in your mouth as they have been cooked for 15 plus hours the traditional way. The eggs are organic and home grown. The tomatoes, radish, onions, chilli and mint are full of flavour. If you are coming to lebanon, you need to come to this place for breakfast. It's iconic!

One of the most authentic local restaurant/breakfast cafe experience.. Its what makes Lebanese food the best in ME. We walked from our hotel 3 mornings in a row for Fatah, 3 different hummus dishes (fool, beans with hummus) and mezze plates. All incredibly delicious, freshest ingredients of crushed garlic lemon herbs. Off course Ghosn himself is fantastic, engaging whilst cooking and hosting and sharing passion for his recipes. He recommended different options to simply enrich our experience. We wish his gem of a spot great success in the heart of Journieh, a small town on the Med Sea.

I have eaten Fatah and Fool (beans with hummus) that delicious ever, as if it butter but with Gallic and lemon. What can I say about the vegetables and olives, full of flavors and fresh. It is a very local experience, don’t miss it. Yes I recommend it

This place definitely deserves its 4.9 A hidden gem in the old streets of jounieh, Ghoson will offer the best breakfast there is to offer in my opinion. The owner is very friendly and chatty, the food is authentic lebanese, freshly prepared. Even the vegetables served are organic and tasty. He is famous for his hummus platters, and personally i fell in love with his eggs and awarma platter that is perfectly seasoned and not super salty. A kind of breakfast that will keep you running for a whole day.

Wow this place has the best fattah and humus I had in my time in Beirut. It was also amazing watching the chef make everything to order and handmade.

If you are in Lebanon you have to visit Elie Ghosn’s small breakfast restaurant. His cooking is unbelievably delicious with authentic preparation and the fresh of all vegetables picked hours before he opens for business. I cannot describe the mouth-watering taste and he prepares the way generations in his family that owned this restaurant for decades.

Most authentic lebanese breakfast, hand made with love from an authentic Lebanese person. We came from Australia to try this, Elie and his food lived up to all the hype

I highly recommend this place for a fun, chilled-out breakfast in Jounieh. It's tiny, so you might have to wait a few minutes to sit down, but it's absolutely worth it. The fatteh is the star of the show for me, but do not miss out on the fried eggs (how are they so good?) and the fool (perfect flavor and texture). The vegetables are very fresh, the olives are delicious, and the people are very nice! So sit down and people-watch on a busy street of Jounieh while eating amazing food. Bring stretchy pants, though, because you WILL massively overeat (that's how good it is)

If u want the experience of this specifically Lebanese (and globally Arabian) tradition of restaurants who serve only breakfast and close at 1h PM, you'll be delighted. Authentic lebanese breakfast cuisine made on the spot with fresh ingredients by the loving hands of the most welcoming Chef I ve ever seen. Most of the menu items are vegan friendly

It was the first time I have an authentic Lebanese breakfast in a restaurant and I can tell you that it was one of the best things I had in a while. The owner was so sweet and suggested some items for us. When we wanted to order more, he insisted that the quantity was already enough for two instead of making us order more and make more profit. The staff was very friendly, the only small downside is that there’s only 4 tables. Would definitely recommend.

The food was amazing! Downside is there is no AC and the power may cut out during your visit. Just make sure to check the price list cause the menu at the store front is not updated

Either he’s over priced or he over charged us knowing we are not locals. Charged us 700,000 Lp for a plate of foul, hummus and fatteh. Hummus and fatteh were bellow average. Foul was good. The owner kept going out and when returning not washing his hands and starting straight to cooking. Also was blowing his nose and did not wash his hands after words. Definitely will not be coming back and nothing was even good enough to make it worth coming back. I have had so many other places that taste way better and pay less. I wouldn’t mind paying extra as I know he over charged us knowing we are coming from Canada. But at least be worth it.

🫤 Appetizers are below average, fried fish is tasteless. Grilled fish was not cleaned well, the bones were still in it. Employees are disinterested and somewhat rude. There are many other good places to go in the city. Don't waste your money.
