One of the best places to stay in Lebanon. Nice clean and spacious rooms. Good breakfast and great room service. The staff are super helpful. I used their Business Center several times. It had everything I needed and the staff didn’t mind bringing me coffee when I needed it.

I don't ever write negative reviews, but I feel like I need to warn people - stay AWAY from this hotel/resort. We stayed at the end of May and immediately changed our booking from our original longer stay to just the one night for multiple reasons. The Aquapark advertised was not even open. Nowhere on the website does it say that it was closed (this was the main reason we booked). There is still an indoor & outdoor pool but the indoor pool is in the spa, is small, and is not made for kids. Even on a hot day, the outdoor pool attached to the restaurant was so uncomfortably cold, you couldn't even go in. Our entire bathroom completely flooded when someone tried to take a shower, as the glass patrician was broken and leaked everywhere. The hotel is aware and did not care. The worst part: we ordered dinner to our room and were told it would be about 20 minutes. In 20 min someone knocked at the door and told us they were the room service. He had a cart (which we obviously assumed had our food on it) and propped open the door and told us to go sit down (meaning he didn't need our help holding the door for him...) so we sat in the seating area waiting for him to roll in the cart, which he never did. My daughter came and whispered to me "he's in the bedroom area, moving around all of our stuff" -- so I went in there and asked what he was doing (he was going through my clothing and re folding already folded things....) and he replied that he doesn't speak English. I called the front desk and asked them to translate that I have no idea what he is doing in there - we opened the door because we thought he had the food we ordered and asked reception to ask him to leave. I thought he may have entered the wrong room but thought about it afterward and realized we were probably very close to being robbed and my privacy and my daughters' privacy was certainly violated. This made us feel extremely unsafe, I couldn't sleep and left as soon as my kids woke up in the morning. When our food did arrive a few minutes later, the hummus and fries were the only thing that tasted good. The burgers tasted so bad, my kids spit out the one bite they took (we are so NOT picky) - we told the person who came to collect the cart/plates and they just said "oh, sorry" - we were still charged for the horrible food that had a minuscule bite out of it. I paid for a continental breakfast with cash and later saw that it was also charged to my room! (Working with the credit card company to try to get a refund, but was definitely double charged - the hotel is also aware of this and does not care) Also note that no food or drinks at all are included with your stay. The food was subpar or inedible, as noted above, and is ridiculously over priced. There are so many other places to swim/stay in this area - do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else. Le Royal Beirut's response to all of this was telling me it was my own fault that their staff went through my things because I am the one that opened the door for him, and for the inconvenience/bad experience offered another stay (with an expiry date) for a day they knew I would no longer be in the country. All other problems including the double charge on my credit card for the food I paid cash for, were completely ignored and the hotel is now unresponsive. Right after I wrote this review in June, someone replied and asked me to email them to resolve this - it is now the end of July and they have not even responded. Customer service is a joke and this hotel is unsafe for families. Be careful where you book if you have kids or want a reasonably safe sleep.

Stayed there for one night about a month ago. Luxurious hotel with seaview. Facilities include: Indoor pool and jacuzzi with an awesome view, no to mention the jacuzzi seats within the pool 💆🏻‍♀️ Spacious gym with the same sea view, it was so nice that we exercised on a Sunday Spa and a hairstylist. A restaurant, with a nice garden where we had breakfast. A nice piano titanic bar, where we had couple of delicious drinks, they also have a happy hour. A water park in summer.

Went there for a conference day. They offer valet parking. The place is so beautiful to the eye. It is highly equipped with sound and projection screens along with their projectors. The conference room was very large and sound proof. Sound and projection was clear at any place in the room. The conference room was accompanied by an area for product exhibitions which was spacious enough for lots of attendees to go around. The area between the two rooms was used as a coffee break area twice and was served by very skilled waiters. The toilets are very clean with lots of mirror. Everything was neat and taken care of to perfection. Definitely a 5-star hotel.

Spa very recommended, maximum cleanliness and luxurious. You have access on sauna, hot jaccuzi, indoor spa , indoor pool, steam room and shower. Amenities including hair dryer, bathrobe , towel, slipper , shower gel, shampoo, body lotion , loofa . Water is free all day . We took the package of 55$ per person . 30 minutes of massage and full day access . 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

This hotel has the best room service and housekeeping I have ever seen. They are amazing. They keep the room clean and tidy whenever they get the chance. The pool is super, and lobby drinks services are professional. The breakfast items include different dishes and tastes. I recommend this place for business trips and vacations.

This is a great hotel. The staff are extremely polite and professional. However some of the facilities have aged and are in need of an update. This is especially true for standard rooms. Considering the price per night I expected a little more from this place. The other shared amenities: pool spa etc. are great

We just had a wonderful stay at Le Royal. The service & cleanliness was wonderful. My daughter misplaced her sheep and the staff was quick to locate the item and bring it back to her. We felt the hospitality was wonderful and would highly recommend this hotel.

I strongly suggest it for a variety of reasons .. Excellent staff, charming surroundings, and location. The best receptionist and employees I've seen are excellent and give off an outstanding impression of the hotel. The hotel was wonderful in every way. it was spotless, fashionable, spacious, and had great service. Food was delicious. The room itself was cozy and well-equipped. My stay was excellent. In the future, I'd like to come back for a longer stay.

The first room smell mold....give and take it is next to the sea. Was moved to a better room after being told the one I was given was the only one remaining. Settled in and housekeeping bust through the door without a knock....asked for an item from front desk 7times that never came...wifi was never set my entire stay. For over $200 in Beirut....you better have what you paying for. You get better service in the smaller hotels. Overated

Excellent room. Great breakfast buffet with omelette bar. Friendly staff willing to help in every way. Only downside was the roar of traffic far below, which made enjoying the water view less enjoyable while sitting on the balcony.

The valet parking hit my car and denied it completely. After highlighting their lies, they offered a polish. What a bad service and they bump your car in the parking wall. Not a 5 star hotel at all.

I didnt yet book a room in the hotel but i tried Le Jardin Restaurant and it was AMAZING ! 🔥 From A to Z, i called to book a table for 2 on a Tuesday night for our wedding anniversary, and it was really a last minute reservation, and in just 1 hr time the manager Jihad took the reservation and even prepared a table for us next to the pool & with a seaview also the table was decorated with some petals and a candle on the table, we arrived to the restaurant and he welcomed us with a big smile, The food & service was amazing also the food quality is excellent, the prices are like any avrg restaurant in lebanon but here you're not in an avrg restaurant, one of the best, Great and calm atmosphere. A big thank you to Jihad for this incredible night .

We got married that night and decided to spend 2 relaxing days at Le Royal hotel. As a bride and groom, it was the worst stay we ever had in our lives. First, there was no hot water, at all. Second, the bath tub was clogged and had to call maintenance at 2 am to fix that in order to take a shower. Third, the room was freezing, and the heating system was not working. We spent our night trying to fix the AC, calling maintenance to fix the issue, they tried and asked us to wait for 30 minutes to 1 hour so that the heating system kicks in. It didn't ! At 6 am, without a minute of sleep, we ordered breakfast because we were starving, but the room was unbearably cold. I called the lobby to complain.. again. They decided to change our room but it took them almost an hour to prepare it. We had our breakfast in our cold room, we couldn't enjoy it anyway. Total disappointment, specially since this was our first night as bride and groom. Apparently our choice of hotel was very poor.

This is a great hotel. One of the best spots in the whole country of Lebanon. Sunset views are amazing. It’s very slow right now (Oct, 2021), with the economic downturn, but it’s still an excellent hotel. Service is top notch. Do not buy drinks at their bar, though. 800,000 Lira/Pound for a double shot (today’s exchange rate, about $40). Kinda ridiculous. Get a big bottle at duty free in the airport and bring to your room. Like I said, though. It’s a great, maybe amazing, hotel. You will be glad you stayed here. This is probably the “gem” hotel of Lebanon, right now. “Just say no” to any super hot girls in their lobby. ;)

Situated on a top of a hill it allowed us to enjoy the best sea view, above that its location gave us the opportunity to travel around the cities easily with less stuck in traffic. Rooms are super clean, helpfull staff. You can feel the good energy there. Overall was absolutely a great and very comfortable experience!

I called tow weeks ago to check the entrance fees to the pool. The answer was 150 000 L.L. Meanwhile the $ value was stable. I came with my girlfriend to swim today but we were surprised that the fees increased from 150 k L.L. To 20$ per person ! Moreover they don’t give the change in the usd (i did not payed but asked the question). We talked to the responsible no solution was proposed except we will call you back on Monday. So we went same day to another 5 stars hotel (a real 5 stars) in beirut, the price was 250 k L.L. Per person and since it was our first visit we got a free trial entry. Thanks Le Royal for making us discovering another and a much better place ;-)
