My stay there was amazing. My first night there was the new year eve and it was awesome. First the owner Hesham and his Lovely wife Anna welcomed me pretty well and offered me free upgrade from dorm to a private room with private bathroom and huge balcony with city and Mountain View also they were extremely nice to invite me and another guest to join them to new year dinner in an amazing restaurant on the top of the mountain. The breakfast in damask rose guesthouse was super delicious and almost different everyday. Design and colors of the place are absolutely amazing. The place is very quite specially at night so you can sleep deeply and at the same time everything is 350 meters away from you, restaurant, cafes, pastries, pharmacy gas station and super market.

Everything is great, the dorm beds ($9, 2024/01) are more like capsules, very private feel. Shower is hot (use the one downstairs), personal is friendly, the owner is very nice. A tiny issue is the location, from the main intersection below you either need to walk 3 km uphill or take a shared taxi (allegedly 100,000 LBP=$1.1, 2024/01)

Absolutely amazing owners, very kind and helpful. Staff available all the time and very helpful. Delicious breakfast, spacious rooms and bathrooms. The water in the pool was clean and it was great to have a swim. Absolutely will recommend it to anyone. A lot of shops and restaurants nearby.

I highly recommend Damask Rose Guesthouse. I enjoyed my stay very much over Christmas and new year. The place is very comfortable, well priced and well located. If you are ever in Lebanon backpacking or for longer stay, please visit Damask Rose Guesthouse

Here was the one of very best part of my Lebanon trip. Wonderful rooms, wonderful atmosphere, wonderful swimming pool.. An extraordinary traditional concept hotel with modern and super clean rooms. Here is the best place you can stay in whole Lebanon, under $150 a night. Hotel owners and staffs very kind and friendly. You feel yourself like home. When I first arrived the hotel, I asked two questions and took this answers: -What is breakfast time? +When you wake -What is check out time? +When you want

Our host, Hicham, got our holiday off to the best start imaginable. From picking us up at the airport at 6:00 in the morning, checking us in early to relax, and driving us to see some local sights (and picking us up), to giving us some suggestions of hiking trails and places to eat in the evening. We hiked his recommended trail (from the guest house up to the Statue of Our Lady of Lebanon) and were served fresh tabouleh, bread, and wicked coffee beforehand to set us up for it. After all of this, when we woke up on our second day, we were served the most splendid, fresh breakfast of authentic Lebanese food - we didn't wake up at a specific time - it just appeared when we did. As for the guest house itself, it's full of personality, with a sweet mountain-view courtyard full of hand-painted murals, a fountain, plants, a pool, and comfy places to relax. Our room was clean and cool and had a balcony with views of Harissa and the sea. We wish we had stayed longer.

Visiting Lebanon for the first time, I was happy to stay at Damask Rose Guesthouse, which has a cozy atmosphere, kind staff, and a dedicated director, who went out of his way to accommodate the guests. Being alone, with no car, he or his staff gave me rides to stores and businesses. Translated for food delivery services and were always eager to help. Mr. Hicham, the director, organized tours all over Lebanon, and I was lucky to benefit from his knowledge about the best places to visit, in more traditional or trendy towns. Walking through the old neighborhoods of Beirut brought to life its golden age and splendor. Grateful for the service.

Very good guesthouse in Zouk Mosbeh, near Beirut. Although almost half an hour drive from Beirut, location is excellent if you plan to explore different parts of Lebanon, and it would be a shame not to. Rooms are spacious and comfortable, breakfast is traditional and plentiful and there is also an option of dinner. All the staff are kind and helpful, but the heart of the place are Hisham and Anna, the owners. Hisham will do his best to make you feel welcome and will help you with anything you need and give valuable advice. To visit nearby places the best option is to use affordable and reliable local taxi service (everything is arranged by messaging), but to visit other places in Lebanon we had Hisham as our guide and he made sure we visit the best places and also taste some local specialties. His hospitality, knowledge and advices made this trip special.

Great service from the start, they brought us cold water and fruits from the beginning and also gave us watermelon and cheese later in the evening. Would definitely recommend staying here as the Air Conditioning is super cold and the rooms spacious and comfy, the showers and toilets are super clean and fast water pressure. We were treated with respect and dignity thank you Dr. M H F A MBPsS

The married couple that own and manage this place were superb. All staff, even with their limited English, were super accommodating. We were a group booking and everyone I spoke to were very happy with their stay.

Great owners and staff!! I do not think I have experienced better hospitality, care and concern at any hotel or guest house (that is what makes me give this 5 star even if there are much more luxurious places - which I am sure are far more expensive). It is simple, clean and has air-conditioning. The dining and lounging area are well decorated and feel very homely. My bedroom was spacious. It has a swimming pool and wifi. The freshly squeezed orange juice is sooo delicious :) Large Lebanese breakfast as well It is near the very beautiful underground grotto which is well worth visiting.

I was so lucky to find such nice hotel for my 2-nights stay! It is located in nice place with a nice vibe, and the staff are so friendly and helpful. Mr. Hicham, the manager, made a memorable vacation in Lebanon for me. He offered us road trips to Baalbak and Tyre with his own car with a really fair price, and we spent 2 amazing days visiting Lebanese heritage and culture and nature. highly recommended!

Hisham and his lovely wife made this place my favourite hostel stay in all of Lebanon. I was greeted with a delicious glass of freshly squeezed orange juice and Hisham with all of his brilliance shared very useful tips in getting around the city. The bed was very spacious and provided some of my best sleep in my 90 days trip, and the breakfast is extensive and incredibly filling. For those that are looking for a central base in Lebanon, look no further than Damask Rose

The guest house was more than amazing and relaxing. The Most friendly owner (Mr. Hesham) and his supportive staff. The house was clean and well decorated. I liked the breakfast so much as they usually provide new set of Lebanese food everyday. The view is amazing. I would like to stay there in my 2nd house. Thank you all for this amazing experience ♥️

Very helpful and friendly owners, rooms are good value for money. Also very good destination to explore Lebanon from as owners have wealth of information and provide opportunities to explore the different parts of the country.

We spent one night at Damask Rose and it was such a pleasant stay! The host Hisham is absolutely fabulous, very welcoming and accommodating. He warmly made sure our needs were all met. The room is spacious and super comfortable, and we had one of the best sleeps on the very comfortable mattress and pillows 😌 Hisham provided us with a mini fridge for our food and milk, and he also brought us a Thermos to keep our water hot and a kettle as well. Breakfast was super tasty with fresh orange juice. The whole place has a charming Arabian style and you truly feel in the old Lebanon with furniture that was acquired from a once very famous Beirut hotel called Carlton ☺️ We hope that Lebanon will enjoy more electricity very soon so that the experience would be absolutely perfect!
