Monastery is designated as a National Monument of Bosnia and Herzegovina, decision No.: 08.2-6-153/03-2, 4th of March 2003, Sarajevo. It was founded by donor of Nemanjić family, King Stefan Dragutin Nemanjić (1244 – 12 March 1316. )
