My husband and I had the most amazing experience here for my birthday. Upon walking into the tasting room we were welcomed with open arms. Everyone was so friendly and willing to answer any questions. We had scheduled the grand tasting tour for their barrel room, but the weather was so beautiful they surprised us by setting up a beautiful private tasting in the gazebo! Jennie was so lovely, knowledgeable, and truly made it the most special experience for my birthday. We finished our day listening to some music on the patio with a delicious flight and had a late lunch at harvest grill which was also so tasty. The wines here are delicious, there really weren’t any we didn’t love. The winemaker is so talented in his ability to pull flavors that we’ve never gotten to taste in a wine before and his tasting notes for the grand tasting were spot on. We had such a great day here and are already planning our next trip back! Thank you to Jennie, Derick, and the rest of the team for making my birthday so special!

My friend and I had a fantastic experience here this weekend! We paid to do the grand tasting so we got a tour of the facility and sampled several of their reserve wines. Derek was a great host and made the event very enjoyable. I think it was a great deal for the price of the tasting, will definitely be bringing some of my other friends to do it again. The vineyard grounds are also very beautiful, we sat by the fountain and watched the sunset after our tasting and it was a perfect, peaceful setting. The restaurant on site was also very good, will be leaving a separate review for that. If you are looking for something to do that's fun and still relaxing, definitely spend the afternoon here, you won't be disappointed! (unless you only like sweet wine, most of the wines in the tasting were on the dry side, but they were still very enjoyable)

Shelton Vineyards was amazing. The Grand Tasting in the Barrel Room made a perfect mom/daughter day out. My mother and I both enjoyed the tour, the grounds, and the wine. Our guide Derek was incredible. He paced the two hours wonderfully and was so knowledgeable. We would suggest this experience to anyone! They also have live music often. So do what we did and book your tour before the music stops, then sit on the patio listening until you are ready to leave.

We went last weekend. It was a rainy day, we were camping close by, and it was my cousin's birthday weekend. I own a wine bar in Summerville South Carolina, and we have friends in the Shelton family yet have never had the opportunity visit before. We made the decision to get out of the rain for a bit and go have lunch at the grill. We enjoyed the food very much and our server was very kind and helpful. We then decided we wanted to go to the gazebo that overlooked the property. Since it was rainy there didn't seem to be any guests who wanted to tour the property and most people were staying in the tasting room. We however had the most delightful run in with Derek, who was only one month into his tenure as the tasting room manager. He took us on a private little tour to see the tasting room, which was really awesome, talked to us, and even took us out in the rain to the gazebo so that we could all enjoy the view of the property. This was without a doubt way above and beyond what we expected, and we all felt extremely special. We are looking into becoming a part of the wine barrel sharing program as a result of the fantastic experience that we had. When our travels bring us back you can be assured, we will be coming back to visit!

Our family chose Shelton Vineyards to be the venue where we celebrated the end of chemotherapy for our daughter, who is battling cancer. We have been here on several occasions and have never been disappointed. Jennie was our coordinator for the event and she couldn’t have been better! She was enthusiastic, personable, attentive, and helped orchestrate the helpful staff and available resources to make our event perfect. Along with the beauty of the grounds, we were given freedom and flexibility to create the environment that we were looking for. The charcuterie board that we purchased from the restaurant was a delicious work of art, with a wonderful variety of foods accompanied by some unique offerings. This paired with the vast selection of quality wines helped everyone to have a great time! Thank you Jennie, staff, and Shelton Vineyards for a memorable day!
