I had a very terrible experience at champion's bar last week. This is a place I ve been going to relax after work for the past five years. I got there, and I was told it's fully booked. Surprisingly I looked inside to see but noticed it was totally empty. While I was there other people who came after me was allowed in with no question asked. I gladly left. Then again this week I went back and was told the same thing, I pushed further to know why, the rumors has it that the new operation manager ordered that BLACK GIRLS are no longer allowed in champion bar. I was devastated to hear that. This wonderful peaceful country QATAR is never considered a racist country. How come it's being condoned in now in champion bar? How do u pick and choose who's allowed in a bar based on race? I hope the management investigate this evil and call who so ever involved to order.

Had the mushroom cheese burger with a glass of South African Merlot. The burger was huge, well topped, and the patty was cooked as desired. Side of fries was crunchy, not greasy, not spongy. The Merlot was definitely full bodied, with a strong lasting after taste. Good pairing with a red meat burger. Bar walls are packed with big/huge screen TVs, showing diverse sports events from around the world. A clear preference for soccer.

Tuesday quizz nights is a must for a time out with friends. Dedicated smoking area. Sure things changed a lil bit since Covid adjustments and they close earlier BUT the place still feels the same. This should be on your list for any big sports event ! But well packed during busy hours so book in advance !

Great place to have pub food and beer. The ambiance makes you feel like your part of a sports party/event! My burger 🍔 was good for a frozen patty and the fries tasted like frozen fries 🍟 but were good too. Food was good👍🏼

Sunday 6th December, went to watch the England rugby team give a jolly good thrashing to the French yesterday. The game was Good but not quite as good as the game being played out before our very eyes by the Champions staff such as "Spot the hot food" in my case and in the case of my friend " Where is the food I ordered in the first half, bro?" My hot steak sandwich was plonked unceremoniously on the table some 20 minutes after taking my order. Well,you can imagine my surprise when I started to tuck into my much anticipated hot steak sandwich only to find out that it was not , in fact,a hot steak sandwich, no,it was a stone cold steak sandwich. And who on God's earth thinks it is perfectly acceptable to serve French fries that are so cold I could have used them to chill my Stella? Only vagrants eat cold fries FFS! The other game we played prior to ordering was " Guess what is and what is NOT on the menu" What fun we had with this one. What was even funnier was the waiter's response when I asked for the Cornish Pasty. " It is not available due to COVID-19 restrictions, sir" He said that with a straight face, I kid you not. On a positive note,this is a wonderful family game that will keep the kids enthralled on Christmas day while Mum is slaving over a hot stove and trying not to drink too much juniper juice and blow the turkey up whilst she curses you for not getting tickets to the Christmas day brunch because you wanted a traditional family Christmas. In the desert. Good call ! Anyway, I digress . Incompetent, albeit friendly, staff and inedible stuff being passed off as a substantial meal( no Scotch eggs on the Menu, either) is just not acceptable. "Champions" are most definitely not ,Campioni or Des Champions. More like a sad, Northern premier league side like North Ferriby United, or Stalybridge Celtic or even Wythenshawe. As my old maths teacher Mr. Garvey used to say to me , before he became Ms. Gladys Garvey " that is total Kay Wrap, laddie"

One of the best place to have beer in Doha after long work day and given a popcorn compliment even just order a cup of beer.

The best sports bar in town, Amazing food and service. Cheers to Ms.Angel for being so lively and making sure that everything is going smoothly. We'll be back for sure, for weekends to come.

Been here so many times but this is the first time I see how a 5 star property have to do sell things by saying the law that with the alcohol beverage you have to have a food along with that even though the staff was being very rude. I don’t know what happened to them this was one of my fav place to chill but this time they been to their lowest level.

Good service, this bar offers a fair variety of Beer on tap. Smokers are in a separate area big plus for non smokers. Food was good price was fair for Doha. Temp was a bit cold inside. Too many Screens everywhere.

Good place to chill and have a drink, had a good time except when my order was totally forgotten. i would have waited for ages if i hadn't asked the waiter about it who appologized for forgetting to punch it in and then did so immediatly. my food came at last but after my friends has already finished their meals. Please ask your waiters to write down the orders on a notebook and not rely on memory in order to avoid such incident . nevertheless, i enjoyed the food and drink.

Lots of space, service was great and food is ok. Popcorn snacks are perfect for having a few drinks after work. Trivia on Monday is fun and well organized with real prizes. Drinks prices are high but in line with similar establishments in the area.

Staff are very friendly and helpful. This bar when opened started with happy hour (a great start) and filled quickly with people to come drink and watch football on the big screen. The food was great, rib sliders were the best. Overall this bar had great atmosphere and food/drinks. Definitely come again.

Champions is a relaxed enjoyable atmosphere where one can watch their favorite sports/teams. Plenty of screens will allow you to check out live games from all over the world. Service is cordial and friendly. When I complained about the food, manager replaced the whole dish. No questions asked! I recommend!

This place was nice inside but the staff just made me want to leave the most unfriendly unattractive staff ever when I walked in was just looking around seeing what the place had to offer the girl stops me says hey are you looking for something with an angry face on her. I stayed and had food said I will have the wings for starters and then a steak sandwich everything came together it was just edible and that was it. Definitely won’t be coming back. The whole time I was there I had to call them over as there were busy chatting to each other. Been to a couple other restaurants in the same building and the staff were extremely helpful and polite this was just awful

Champion is like our second home! My mates and I always come here almost twice a week. Always feel welcome and comfortable coming here. Probably my favourite sports bar in the world. 😌Super chill, come as you are kind of atmosphere👟, alone or with a group, drink casually and socially. 🎶Music isn’t so loud, you can have a proper conversation without having to yell🧏‍♀️. Watch your favourite match, play pool and arcade games🏓. Drinks are relatively cheap 💰 and staff are super friendly. 👯

Always good for a few beers and a bit of food. Last night I had the loaded fries...a bit too much cheese sauce I would say but filled a whole. Hopefully they'll keep the Budweiser deal going beyond the World Cup stock. (5 for 100) Waitresses are always very attentive...we had Betty serve us last night. 🍻 Had quite the disappointing experience at Champions. 😔 The staff at the entrance gave me a hard time with my ID verification, and it took them around half an hour to 45 minutes to understand that my ID's print had faded over time due to regular use at work. They even misread the expiration date, showing it as 2021 instead of the actual 2024. Adding to the frustration, their kitchen had already closed, leaving us with nothing to munch on. And to top it off, they rushed our last drinks order within 15-20 minutes of us settling at our table. 🕰️😕 All in all, it seems like Champions is losing its charm and the top-notch service they used to provide. I almost never write restaurant reviews, but we met a waitress there who had to be recognized publicly. Elizabeth was her name and she was phenomenal. She was prompt, smart, caring, and knowledgable about the food. And she just had this friendly demeanor about her that made us all happy. Thank you Elizabeth for the wonderful service!

They show most games, but have absolutely no idea why they show them, and forget about hearing the game, but enjoy way too loud music of various quality. (17:30 o'clock) On the menu they do have a decent drinks selection, however in reality, they will be out of quality. This is in line with the bar's overall theme: The sportspub you ordered from wish. Gets two stars because afterall I didn't have to bring my own drinks, and they do show most games, even though opening hours does not reflect it's a place to watch sports. (When important games starts 16:30, don't hold off until 17 to open)

A great setting with loads of sports screens, comfy seating and friendly staff. 4 stars as the food was good and really tasty although not outstanding. In fairness it is not a place for that so certainly would come again for an easy bite to eat and a drink.

A nice getaway in West Bay. When i was there recently it was quiet, very quiet. Yet, i still enjoyed my stay. Plenty of beers to chose from, and the typical bar food. Can't go wrong here.if you just want a drink and have some non-bar food after, there are a few restaurants on the same floor

I visited this place for a work do, loved the live sport on the TV's. The staff were great too but the choice of food was very limited. If you want decent food with your beer or soft drink then visit one of the other restaurants in the hotel. The other downside for me was the smell of stale smoke in the place.

Went to Champions for a Brazil WC game. Although it had many patrons staff was extremely helpful. Food service was also very efficient. No long waits. Really enjoyed my WC experience watching the match here.

Good atmosphere to watch large sporting events especially when there is a large crowd. The drinks menu is full of options why the food menu is a meat lovers delight though not so many options for vegetarians.

Champions is one of my favorite sports bar in Qatar. I use to visit here with friends. Good place to chill out. They have as many as big screens with sports on. Slow music. Available pool and arcade games to enjoy. Have free valet parking. Staff attitude keeps on changing accordingly.

'Go To' place for sports freaks...fantastic atmosphere during the games....food portions are generous and well priced.

Last minute booking for NYE! this place was crowded due to nye. luckily we got a slot for last minute booking in this place because we have a previous booking from other place but that place sudden cancelled our booking without letting us know. they have the best nye ambiance in a sports bar and all staff were so nice and accomodating despite how busy they were. even some of my friends were kinda demanding to get some orders because countdown is happening the staff still manage to smile and politely took the orders. kuddos to the team!
