Parisa is one of the places that you really cannot afford to miss while you are visiting Doha. Once you enter you are completely taken into another world, a fascinating one. All the arhitecture inside, the design and the art is just surreal and most wonderful, just breathtaking. The food is very good as well and the menu is generous. But I will just let you convince yourself :)

I came in wondering if this place would be an overpriced tourist restaurant. I was pleasantly wrong. Normally I don't care about the decor, but it is gorgeous. The ambiance is wonderful. My first dish at any Persian restaurant is Ghormeh Sabzi. I think if they can get it right, they can get most other dishes right. And Parisa gets it right. It really was a stew. Maybe a few more beans, but I will not complain. The rice was perfect. The bread and vegetables at the start was very good. And finally, the service was exceptional. The best in Qatar so far. Prompt, but not pushy. This is a place I will visit again. And maybe again. Come and enjoy.

Absolutely insane place to dine at. From the initial walk in and seeing the sparkling ceilings to the range of Persian dishes, this was such an incredible dining experience. While the food is slightly on the pricier side, it is well worth it. Recommend coming after 2 PM for their well-known lamb shank dishes since they take time to prepare. Otherwise, their grilled foods are also filled with flavor and their Faloudeh dessert is well worth it! You don't need to make reservations as they are usually empty around lunch, but consider making one for dinner since the place can get quite packed.

Good tasty food but everything else was average. Service was quite slow because only one server was working around but still he did his best. Food wise they have got good Persian dish but the koftes tasted okayish. Interiors looks fantastic and one of a kind in Qatar but ventilation was quite poor. Drinks and dessert selection could be better. Overall I wouldn’t hate or complain against the restaurant but everything could have been better. One important tip , do visit the restaurant in winter to have a good experience.

A very quiet place to have dinner. There s a fountain on the ground floor . The upstairs space is also cozy and decent. Must haves: the phirnee dessert . It's awesome. Also the house special lamb dish served with a portion of rice. There s also live person instrumental music performed. In all, soothing atmosphere.

Decor is dramatic, over the top and old school opulent. It’s a delight to have a meal in such a lovely setting and this alone makes it worth the visit. Think of this place if you want to impress overseas visitors with a unique experience. On top of all that, the food is EXCELLENT! Each dish tasted authentic and made from good ingredients. I can’t think of a single dish I had there that I didn’t love.

More style than substance. The dining room is very cool from a decoration perspective, but I was one of only a few occupied tables during lunch and the service was pretty slow, took a while for me to even get a menu to look at. Once I caught one waiter’s attention things got a little quicker. The portions aren’t very large and the food was so-so, generally on the dry side. I had the fried eggplant slices in a yogurt dip and pomegranate - strange texture and didn’t really go with anything, but the taste was ok. I did love the wonderful fresh flatbread brought out to enjoy with the salad. My entree was a ground lamb skewer which was just very dry and not well seasoned. They served it with these saffron fried rice squares which were interesting. I love saffron and rose flavors so they had a homemade saffron rose soda which had a lot of flavor but was also extremely sweet. It wasn’t poor quality food, it just wasn’t that delicious at the end of the day.

Mystical journey taking you back in time to the glorious persian era and to have a feeling of nothing less than a SHAH of persia /iran ..with the rich royal cuisine of that period ..is an experience to live for .the restutant PERISA ..is all about richness of persian mughlai cuisine of succulent kebabs and sheekhs with a rich array of variety of rice…interior is a mirror palace with fascinating chandeliers adorning the ceilings..the glazed mirrors reflect the golden and hue lights of the lamps leaves a lasting impression of royalty and awe ..isolated private chambers also available for private dinning for the guests…live music also present with iranian music giving you a special feel of the place …a must tourist visit for anyone visiting the souq waqif ..as per pricing for food well its bit expensive for the pocket …however for the journey you go through i feel it is INDEED WORTHIT

This is an extremely beautiful restaurant. I found it on social media and was attracted by its unique design and shiny beauty. The whole restaurant is like a palace, with shining tiles from floor to ceiling. The Persian style gives a feeling of grace and mystery. There is a fountain in the center of the restaurant and two fish swimming in there - making you feel relaxed. However, the food is average, I have to say. I ordered Ghormeh Sabzi and it is a bit salty and the color is too dark - too little lamb given the price (minus 1 star). However, I still enjoyed my dinner. My friend ordered lamb shank and he said it is very good. I would give it a 5 star if the service and food is also top notch.

The food and place was a real disappointment. I went with my family for an early dinner. The place was humid and dark. The food was bland and not served in the chic Persian style I had Persian food in many other restaurants in many countries but the food served to me today is not the authentic Persian taste .The food was bland and oily and too expensive. Sorry but no value for money

This restaurant is indeed a must try in Doha. The interior design is really impressive although it can look a bit too much for people like me who prefer simple and refined interiors. The service was excellent. It was the first time I tried Iranian food, I asked for the typical dishes and really enjoyed it. I can not say I was impressed by the taste of food though, but it was good and well presented.

Must visit this restaurant just for the interior. The food is really flavorful. We had the chelo ghosht e parisa which was out of the world. The Chelo jooje kebab was also flavourful and served on a bed of rice. We also were served with some fresh vegetables and cheese alongside our order of freshly made bread. Drinks were nothing special but not bad either. We had the saffron lemonade and pomegranate orange. However the saffron lemonade tasted closer to an orangeade than a lemonade. Initially there was a confusion about our reservation which really disappointing but it was swiftly resolved by the team. Hopefuly it was just an isolated incident and will never happen again. I suggest booking ahead because the restaurant was mostly occupied even on a weekday, especially if you want a good table.

Extremely good food. We tried a range of foods which were all excellent. The waiters were attentive. The restaurant Ambiente was beautiful and exotic and made one feel like in 1001 night. We had a table which was separated from the other tables which was a little bit of privacy while still being part of the restaurants atmosphere.

Parisa is a hidden treasure in Souq Waqif. Among the traditional and humble look of Souq Waqif you wouldn't imagine to have such a glorious interior design. It is a Persian restaurant managed by Ritz Carlton. Once the doors are open you feel like entering a magical place with sparkling outlook. Every corner of the restaurant has a unique scene which composes a greater big picture. There is a nice fountain in the middle of the restaurant. Though table spaces are limited; therefore, need to have a advanced booking. We have taken their iftar menu and it was delicious. Menu starts with dates and milk. As appetizers they serve special bread, a plate of cheese-greens-olives, followed by yogurt with cucumber and special eggplant hot plate. You have choices as a main dish as a chicken or lamb. We have taken lamb kabab, chicken kabab and lamb cubes with okra. All main dishes served with saffron rice. Water and a glass of traditional drinks also served as part of the menu. Final touch is a delicious rice pudding. Price per person is 150 QAR. Overall food was amazing, well cooked and very tasty. Everything served in a timely manner and staff was quite polite. It is definitely a must see place in Doha and really appreciated to have this chance during Ramadan. Thank you Parisa.

We had a nice evening at Parisa. The service was not as I expected although it was not busy when we arrived. We had to wait before we could sit at one of the empty tables. It took time for someone to take the order. The rest was ok, the serving of the food was done professionally and the setup was unique. The food was nice and we enjoyed it. It was something different! I personally don't have the urge to go again.

One of the most beautiful restaurants I’ve been to in my life. 😍 Service was great, food was delicious and quick, and the atmosphere was so classy. The price is of course going to reflect on all of those factors so it’s a bit pricier that average restaurants.

Interior design is captivating. Truly gives persian vibe. Can be intimidating to go in because the place looks really expensive due to the amazing interior design but food price is not that bad when you are in groups/family. They have quite big serving that is good for sharing. Weekends can be busy, so if you want to make sure to get a table during those days, you need to book reservation before the place gets full.

Beautiful restaurant in Souq Waqif but as others have mentioned, you do need to make a reservation as they get really busy. We had to wait around 20mins to be seated even when we had a booking. The decorative setting does make for some wonderful holiday pictures and whilst the food was good, it wasn’t the best we experienced in Doha. Value is not bad for somewhere this popular - our bill for 2 of us came to around QAR230 (approximately £50) - this was for 2 x main courses and 2 x Pepsi’s. The complimentary Arabic breads and salad with cheese, olives and walnuts that’s served once you’ve ordered was a lovely little touch. Definitely worth visiting if you’re in the area.

It was amazing! The Persian food was delicious, I could not stop. Don't come here for Western cuisine, though. The service is excellent. • 3/5 Umair A. 3 years ago on Google
Three stars given for the ambience only. The food was pretty bland without much taste, especially to me who is fond of rich flavours but the ambience, hospitality and the presentation makes up for the taste. Good for a one time visit in your life, but some who are fond of persian cuisine will love this. The Watermelon Salad was nothing but watermelon and feta cheese. The cheese is too salty and is the only thing that is left till the end, kebabs were not that tasty but quite a wholsome, can easily feed 2 persons. The drinks were quite good, lemon mint and orange juice.

  • 4/5 Flowers And S. 3 years ago on Google
Beautiful vibe. The decor and ambiance was nice. Not many people but they decided to seat everyone close to eachother in adjacent booths which didn't help the noise levels as some people were very loud. The staff were attentive and the food portions were large. I actually asked for takeaway as the food was so much and the waiter did not pack all the food. I would go back there.

One of the places that is really fascinating, breathtaking, the ambiance there is one of a kind. The food is very good, very generous portion, it is all fusion authentic dishes, service is really with high level. On the other hand, it is an expensive place comparing to the location, if you're visiting Souq Waqif, you are expecting finding this type of fine dining restaurant. Overall it is a great experience, a very recommended place to visit and try.

Very good food, nice atmosphere. Advance bookings is recommended during World cup 22. 3 stars because over-priced menu. 500 qr for a this meal is not OK.

As for this particular restaurant, we went to Parisa only because of BTS Jungkook 🤭🤭🤭 As the dreamers were filmed in here. However important information... they now need a prior reservation. Well, I'm really grateful to the hostess who managed to give us a table even without a reservation. For the food, I have rated only 2 stars since I did not like the Persian cuisine (but then again, Parisa is particularly a Persian Cuisine restaurant 😁). It was my first time trying the Persian Cuisine, and it wasn't of my taste. So I have rated as per my palate. Another information... they do not have Ala Carte. It's a set menu, It will cost 260 Qar per person. Me and my sister solely went there to take pictures, and which we did 🤪 we took tons of pictures and videos, and that itself was more than enough for us.

Absolutely exceptional food and ambiance. Beautifully made restaurant. Only let down was the service. Staff had a major attitude problem like they didn't want you there. At thus price point and being a ritz Carlton restaurant you expect better service. It was also pretty much empty so don't know what the attitude was for. But probably best Irani food I've ever had if only they improve the service would be the best place to go in doha.

The decor is insta-worthy and the closed courtyard layout gives that old historical feeling. Joojeh kebab was awesome as well as the saffron drink. Service could have been better and gave more attention especially at paying the bill. Items were not available on the menu but we were not informed ahead of time. Interesting experience but not sure if I'd make an effort to go again.

Aside from the beautiful interior, the food was 10/10. I ordered the Shahane Kebab, which consisted of a slab of lamb fillet kebab and another one of ground lamb kebab. These were served on a bed of saffron rice. I am not normally a fan of lamb, but this was of a great quality and cooked properly, so it was moist, tender, and delicious. I had the pomegranate juice as beverage.

Super nice ambience. I thought I was in Persia. The lamb shank is super delicious. No lamb smell. Very tender. 1 portion can share 3pax. Need to order salad if u like greens as the main dish doesn't come with veg.

Wow! We stumbled upon this place cruising the streets of Souq Waqif. We walked in to a beautifully designed restaurant, I have never seen anything like it. It was Ramadan so they had a set menu. It made it so great because we got to try a little bit of everything. It started off with a lentil soup that was so flavorful, I wanted 2nds. Then we were served dips and fresh naan bread. The beet labne was my favorite. It was so fresh and unique. They then brought over a ton of meat, chicken, lamb and beef I believe. The chicken was my favorite. They were presented in a beautiful grill and was so juicy and delicious. We finished with desert and we’re so full by that time. We loved the scenery, the staff and of course the food. We hope to come back again one day!

A must go place in the souq waqif area to experience the real essence and flavours of Doha. Most places in Doha are overpriced and this is no exception but the food and ambience is amazing. Absolutely loved their local rice pudding version!

The quality of the food is quite ordinary and the service is very poor. The waiters are all indian and filipino and they are rude. In addition, some of the items you might want are not available and the food prices are very expensive. In addition, there was not enough light in the hijras. The price of a glass of buttermilk is 9 dollars. There is not enough light on the tables. I suggest that if you are looking for Iranian food, you should visit the Diwan restaurant in the Mall of Qatar. It is not possible to take the rest of the food.

One of the best restaurants I’ve been in on any continent. Food is traditional Arabic with a contemporary twist. Service would be befitting if a Michelin star restaurant and the decor os incredible, hence the photos.

I have been around the world twice and love finding that perfect authentic restaurant.. This restaurant is wonderful with delicious foods.. You would never know from the outside how wonderful the atmosphere is on the inside. Highly recommend!

Decoration deserves thumbs up. Food is expensive but delicious. Going for hand wash at the top of about twenty steps uphill with staircase is difficult for elders and impossible for wheelchair customers. However, staff members are generous & readily available as needed. Would suggest this restaurant only occasionally.

"Wait is this a museum or a restaurant?" Is what you ask yourself when you enter the restaurant. The people who take pictures on the hallway don't help either. The wall ceiling and the fountain make you feel that you have walked into another city. Then you order and taste the wonderful Persian dishes 😋 you will definitely come back again or at least recommend to family and friends.

Absolute must try! Everything from the service to the meal to the interior were top notch. They have a good selection of vegetarian options and the saffron rose water was a hit

Stunning restaurant! So picturesque! The food was absolutely delicious, from the moment I got a whiff of that bread I knew I was in for a treat! The staff were very friendly and accomodating.

Decent food, opulent interior but felt very touristy. According to an Iranian foodie the food was mediocre. The appetizers we ordered were great including this olive, walnut mix.

A very popular place to eat, it is advisable to pre book. This is a very good Persian restaurant inside Souk Waqif. They have a very good selection of Persian dishes from soups, starters, salads, main dishes, dessert, and non alcoholic drinks. The restaurant is very elegant with Persian style decorations. The food is very filling and flavourful , the staff are friendly and give a very good description of the food you are about to order. For a starter I had the Bell Pepper Dolma, which was delicious, very filling and well presented. For the main meal I had the Khoresht Ghormeh Sabzi which was a slow cooked Persian stew which was also very delicious and filling, served with a side of Persian bread.

Probably one of the restaurants with one of the most stunning traditional interiors in Doha. Next to that, food here is also very tasty and staff is friendly. Slight warning: portions are huge so make sure you’re hungry. Reservations are required if you want a spot here

    - need to reserve a table as there is usually wait but you can't book in advance so arrive early - the interior is picture worthy - restrooms are on the first floor - visited in summer and in winter and pomegranate juice was not available - prices are above average - ordered: * Chelo kebab * Mast moseer * Khoresht sabzi * Khoresht bamia * Watermelon juice

👍 We do come here mainly for take aways as we like the durums. The large chicken, kofta or kebab sandwiches are good. The 1kg mixed grill is also very good value for money and we usually customize it for our liking. The appetizers are good On this visit we tired the harbiye kebab sandwich which w...

👍👍 Cosy and peaceful restaurant to dine out. Food has texture, it's flavorful and very well presented like a piece of art. Mind-blowing service. Staff is very friendly and professional. They also have nice outside seating also. Yes it's bit pricey but it's actually worth paying. I highly recommend it.
