I
decided
to
try
Al
Mourjan
for
the
first
time
this
national
day
(Dec.
18)
and
I
am
very
shocked
at
how
horrible
my
experience
was.
There
was
a
set
menu
for
275
QR
per
person
and
advance
payment
was
required
so
I
prebooked
and
payed
550
QR
(2
ppl)
as
requested
by
the
restaurant
on
Dec.
17.
I
arrived
at
6
pm
and
was
seated
promptly,
but
after
that
there
was
zero
interaction
with
staff
until
approximately
7:30
pm.
Not
once
did
anyone
come
around
and
ask
me
anything
or
bring
me
a
starter
or
anything.
At
7:30
I
finally
called
over
a
person
to
take
my
order
and
my
order
was
taken
promptly.
Between
7:30
and
9
pm
I
had
to
ask
3-5
times
about
my
food
because
it
was
taking
so
long.
I
did
not
receive
my
first
items
(hot
and
cold
mezzes)
until
9:19
pm
just
before
the
fire
works.
There
were
2
errors
that
no
one
bothered
to
correct
like
forgetting
to
bring
bread
with
the
hummus
and
giving
me
cheese
instead
of
meat
samosa.
The
main
couse
did
not
arrive
until
1
hour
later,
at
approximately
10:15,
after
I
had
to
request
it
again
3-5
times.
During
this
time
almost
every
table
complained,
including
me,
and
4
tables
walked
out
angry
without
receiving
food.
For
my
food
the
mixed
grill
was
pretty
decent
but
the
meat
machboos
was
terrible,
cold
rice
and
meat
that
tasted
like
it
was
boiled.
I
along
with
other
patrons
spoke
with
the
manager
Mr.
Tahseen
and
voiced
our
concerns
to
which
he
appologized,
but
he
did
not
do
anything
to
rectify
the
issue.
His
breath
also
had
an
odur
of
alcohol
but
he
did
not
appear
to
be
drunk,
although
that
could
explain
why
things
were
so
mismanaged.
I
think
the
owner
of
this
place
should
really
look
into
the
activities
of
this
manager
because
he
is
truly
driving
the
place
into
the
ground.
Since
I
had
prepaid
my
full
bill
the
day
before
he
returned
100
QR
after
long
negotiationg,
bringing
the
total
to
450
QR
(at
first
he
only
wanted
to
take
off
50
QR
lol).
Unfortunately
this
place
is
definately
not
worth
that
much
but
100
qr
off
is
better
than
nothing,
all
in
all
I
would
not
recommend
and
if
a
restaurant
ever
asks
to
pay
in
advance
learn
from
my
lesson
and
try
to
avoid
it
or
pay
maximum
50%
upfront
only
and
the
rest
after
you
are
done
eating.
