Beautiful restaurant and good food. They are usually full on the weekends, booking is required in advance. Their grills are great, but the service was slow initially. However, they made it up by giving us complimentary sweets and tea. They also accept entertainer which is a plus since the food is slightly expensive. But the quality is great! 🌷 They have sheesha as well. Will I go back again? Maybe or maybe not.

This is a great option for delicious Arabic food. I visited the place for lunch. The place was fairly empty during my visit though I am told it is always full during evening times. We have salad, hummus, spicy potatoes and a mixed grill. Everything was cooked to perfection. Overall, great place.

One of the iconic restaurants in Souq. It's always crowded and lively. There are limited vegetarian options. Hummus was good but very limited quantity as compared to the price. The taste was awesome. We tried Spinach Kebbah and Few other items. Most were good. Kebbah was more sour than I had imagined. Service is good and the overall atmosphere is lovely. Definitely would visit again.

Interior design is awesome. I like it so much. Colors and furniture all are good. Very spacious and has 2 floors. I tried the breakfast options. I didn’t like the foul. The beans size are very big. The cheese fatayer was accepted. The bread is freshly backed and taste is good. Finally the staff is friendly and helpful.

Good place to go for food and quick snack. Air condition and wifi available through out. Staff was very friendly, a little poor on English but they are very helpful 👍 I spent one sunny afternoon there 👋 and it was good. This place become very lively in the late afternoon and evening. Also looks like they have a live music performance too as there was a place for that. All in all its a good place to sit and relax if you're visiting the old Doha town and it's markets.

Very busy restaurant and very attractive spot to be in the old souq. Two floors with a huge outside terrace and an inner spot with live entertainment. Food wise it is need more quality and no cutting corners. Wine leaves was over cooked, Tabbouleh salty and a very young, first press Olive oil was used. For the tourist I am sure they like it but for real foodies you better choose somewhere else. Service was promoted however and very attentive from the syrian supervisor on the floor.

Love the vibes and food! If you don't know what to order, you can always ask servers to recommend the best seller menus! Portion is quite huge- we ordered one main course + hummus with meat + two drinks!

This is a really great place to chat with friends and family. The atmosphere is fun and jovial. It's always a pleasure to visit Damascus One.

Beautiful Syrian/Lebanese restaurant at the entrance of Souq Waqif. The decor inside is very beautiful with a winding staircase and a huge chandelier. There’s outdoor seating as well. The menu is extensive and includes all the favorites and familiar dishes. Prices are at par with other restaurants in the area. Service is good but the wait staff are not very comfortable speaking in English, although, it’s not a major issue. Recommend a visit when you’re at the Souq amongst the other options there.

Went there for dinner. Tucked in the heart of souq Waqif, authentic Syrian restaurant. The food is great and the seating as well. There was even live music when we went. The servers are very friendly and helpful. No complaints from me, would def go again.

Great atmosphere and service, food can be a hit and miss to traditional taste but it's still good. The view is amazing, especially the outside. Bathrooms are clean. There are cats sometimes, even inside the restaurant. I'd say it's a bit expensive for the experience.

Food is delicious , ambience is perfect. However, the staff are not professional and the prices (comparing to other restaurants in souq waqif) is expensive . Worth a try if you like grill.

Damasca One is a lovely restaurant located in the heart of Souq Waqif. The restaurant serves authentic Syrian cuisine that is bursting with flavor. The ambiance is cozy and inviting, making it a great spot to grab a bite with friends or family. During my visit, I tried the Turkish coffee, eggs with cheese and mushroom, eggs with meat, and Fattet Hummus Bil Labban. All of the dishes were delicious, but the Fattet Hummus Bil Labban was the standout dish, which I highly recommend. The prices are a bit high, but given the location inside the bustling Souq Waqif, it is to be expected.

Nothing to rave about with this restaurant. It was a little busy but inside seating was ample. We got served right away and we also kind of knew what to order, so got it placed quite quickly. Food didn't take too long to come and I won't say it was the worst of foods but it was just ok. The cocktail drinks were horrible, best to just order soft drinks or water. This visit doesn't warrant a second attempt so I guess I'm done with the one for life.

It’s pricey but the service is fast and polite, food portions are very big and tasty, also has indoor and outdoor area with nice decoration, in overall I liked it a lot

Damasca One is a decent restaurant offering a variety of food options. We enjoyed the chicken Jaba, but found the mutton kababs to be average. The fruit juices, especially the avocado drink, were surprisingly delightful. The French fries and pita were tasty. Despite being crowded, the restaurant's central location in Souq Waqif provides numerous options, and the ambiance and service are commendable.

This is a lovely place for dinner. Very big restaurant with a top floor and outside seating, making it possible to accommodate a lot of people. The servants are dressed on their traditional clothes and the service is quick. The food is excellent and value for money. This place is also on the Entertainer, which means it is buy one get one free for main courses. I highly recommend you visit Damasca one.

The food here is too good. Our favorite was their kibbeh and mix grill. Highly recommend this place for their food. The service is probably not the best. It was difficult to catch the waiter's eye.

We are delighted to have discovered this place. It is a wonderful place with the spirit and cosiness of the old town. The staff is very helpful. The food is delicious and served very quickly. We came back several times for lamb, Turkish coffee and shisha. Everything we tasted was delicious. The time on the balcony just flew by.

Friendly and quick Service, recommended typical syrien food We had lemon mind, ginger and lemon tee, Kofta, potatoe sauted, shawarma arabian chicken and the last one I forgot Greeting from the kitchen is homemade bread (See Video). Every single dish tasted in its own delicious. Located at the beginning of the Souk, if you are Lucky you can get a table Outside; we were not lucky:)

The place is open with sitting available inside for vaccinated people and if not vaccinated would will be served on tables arranged outside. Not much variety for vegetarians. Vegetarian items may be directly from the fridge and is as well specifically mentioned in menu. We ordered Fawa beans,spicy potato and Halum Mashwi in veg category. Spicy potato was served hot and is not spicy as per Indian taste buds. Kasbet Chicken was strictly ok and quantity was very less for the price charged. For Good ambience I would give a 4.5 but for food 2.5 is maximum. The place is probably a one time visit for the location and ambience. For food and quantity it's expensive.

It reminded me the food of Antakya/Hatay in Turkey. Everything was almost perfect. You are gonna feel sad when you get full.

My second time going there. Ambiance is top notch. Food is good too, they used to have a live entertainment going on before but I guess have stopped since COVID. The staff is very friendly and approachable; it might appear to be a bit pricey but it’s worth it

Ambience = very nice Food:ordered the lentil soup Which was very salty to the point of being unedible. They kindly replaced it with cream of chicken soup which it wasn't. It was a bowl of cream and pieces of chicken. Salad: fresh and tasty.. Chami kebab with cheese : nice and well. Cooked with good balance amd spices Shawarma chicken: very basic with no taste to the chicken.. Price and value: very OVERPRICED. The quality doesn't come close to the price. Service :efficient and timely. Attentive staff. OVERALL: DISAPPOINTED with the quality of food. Never again. There are other much better places with better arabic food in souq waqif.

The food here is awesome. I ordered some grill and they taste really well. The meat is tender - not dry. The flavor is rich. The bread is warm and puffy. They also serve appetizer and the sauce and flavor is rich and fresh. The turkish coffee is beautiful and refreshing!

Food was very good but not outstanding , the seating inside are comfortable, service was friendly and fast. Try to avoid the weekends as it gets pretty busy during that time.

Food is always delicious, their hookah is good, and their staff is very friendly. It does get quite busy in evenings so be prepared for the check to take a little while to get to you.

This is a very good authentic Syrian restaurant. The food is really good and delicious. They bring you the mix grill over a small box of charcoal so it stays hot. This is genius! The atmosphere and service is excellent. But the menu is definitely over priced. Expect to pay at least 300-500 QR for a dinner of two.

Food - 5 stars Ordered lentil soup, it was amazing! (No picture, it was so yummy i forgot to take photos haha!) Chicken liver, lamb mixed grill and chicken mixed grill. Meat was not tough and chewey, meaning its cooked nicely and meat is of a good quality. House bread (tast - i dnt know what do they call that bread, but it was good! Especially when served hot. Gave us two servings haha! Drinks - no iced tea, so we ordered sparkling water. Since this is a Syrian restau, i personally, am not familiar with the food terms listed. Just ordered the ones with common names to be on safe side. U can ask the food attendant though, they are knowledgeable abt what to suggest. Price - how many stars? 3 stars, maybe? Well it was pricey, i must say. Yeah, expensive. Place - 5 stars. Great arabic ambiance, nice interiors, indoor and outdoor selection of seats. Service - 5 stars They attention to your needs. Regularly check on guests asking if we need anything. Will visit again? On special occassions or if i am craving for high-end arabic cuisine. Very nice restaurant with a fine dinning experience in the heart of Souq Waqif. The food was very delicious and the restaurant wasn't fully occupied, which was a pleasant experience overall. The safiha with tomatoes is my favourite. The deserts were massive in size, you would want to consider sharing for two.

Right in the heart of the Souq Waqif, this lovely restaurant has great atmosphere and is always busy. Visited during FIFA and they were a bit slow on the service and missed a few items, perhaps expected, but other than that a good experience. Food was delicious and servers very friendly.
