Parking is a problem near d restaurant however at a distance is possible Staff is good, n enthusiastic in deir work Prefect place the hv home made like indian food. From the entrance gate, this restaurant has that Desi vibe which I was looking for at Doha. The food option, prices, taste, presentation are up to the mark. Non veg platter is must for all non veg lovers. The platter pieces are big enough & half platter is enough for 2. Main course should be ordered accordingly. The starters, soups, main course, desserts and beverages are priced reasonably. I would recommend this place to all including families trying to look for a place to eat. No reservations are required and you can visit directly. The table is provided based on first come first serve basis.

Deshi Dhaba - As the name goes the same is the place. The hotel's interior is designed as a dhaba style. When we enter the Dhaba there is a Indian Chat thela n sitting arrangements for the same. All types of chats like panipuri, dahi puri, shev puri, bhel, samosa, tea, vada paav are served at the thela. When further gone inside is dine in the area. Large occupied space is available here for sitting. We can come here with friends, family, kids, and singles. Various antiques which represent the old India can be seen here decorated all over the place. A full dhaba vibes come. Though there are tables for sitting instead of charpai which is found in dhaba. It was my first time to visit the place. We had evening snacks there i.e. pani puri and shev puri. For Pani puri... spicy and sweet water was served separately with puri having stuffing of boiled smashed potatoes. The taste was okay. As an Indian we have high expectations from chats served. Shev puri was stuffed with spicy and sweet water and shev on the top. Both tasted good. Also the menu had various other Indian cuisine options to be served there. Will try next time for the other menu too. Overall it is nice place with variety of Indian cuisine available. So must try once in a while. It's good place.

Great customer service. Delicious chaat, samosa and Chai. The server went out of his way to make tea without sugar for me. Will definitely come back to try the Punjabi thaali 😊

Want to feel like at some desi village dhaba right in the middle of Doha? Well, you are at the perfect place. Full marks for the ambiance. Food and service is good too, specially if you're looking for some traditional Indian dishes, this is the place for you. They have quite a vast menu though and even non Indians are also visiting the place. Staff is very cooperative. Overall a very good experience 🙂

If you're looking for delectable Indian desi fast food, you must visit Desi Dhaba. The Chicken MoMos are excellent and taste exactly like the ones I used to get in Delhi. Bhel puri, pani puri chicken tikka are all quite yummy. This eatery is highly recommended for its authentic Indian chat pata taste.

Firstly gotta mention their dal makhani- it was definitely one of the most flavorful ones I have had ever since I have moved out of india 🇮🇳, very close to the Punjabi dhaaba we find in north india highways! Their paneer was refreshingly soft and fresh, in a delectable delicious gravy- not too heavy but pleasing the palate! The chutney n papad appetizer is yummy n gives you a good feel about the food about to arrive! The downside was my over expectations from the rosogullas… n the picture is taken once I had taken a mouthful, sorry about that! Well … it wasn’t what I would recommend! also, the tandoori roti seemed made of maida not aata , so was a tad disappointed there!!! Will I visit again… most definitely yes!!! The dal n paneer won my heart over.. the ambiance is pleasing and so is the staff. So totally recommend this place for a North Indian tour in Doha!

Had a tired long walk and decided to have a visit here, since the decorations was very outstanding from the front of the restaurant. They serves Desi food with big portion for me, also I some questions about the menu and stupidly asked if the have the beef (sorry for that) 😅 but the guy was very attentive and explain kindly. Good food with affordable price, plus beautiful decoration and warm vibe

I really enjoyed the vibes of Desi Dhaba, we had travelled to Qatar 🇶🇦 For Eid Holidays via Bahrain 🇧🇭 The ambience at Desi Dhaba was great, loved the idea of re-living 90s ! The mix grills were good (azad parindey - half) was enough for 5 of us. The gravy that we ordered were Murgh Rangeela as suggested by the Server Mr Usman, perfect host very welcoming person! His suggestions were on point. Really active person, humble and attentive too. Other suggestion was Mutton Roganwala which came in sizzler was good! Lamb was juicy & tender. For appetisers we had dahi puri it was ok. But highly recommending this spot for affordable and good meal. And Mr Usman Thankyou for providing good service👍🏻

Visited first time. This place has full desi feel. The food was yummm! We ordered Dal makhani, their signature Highway Chicken, and butter naan! Everything was lip smacking. Will surely visit again to try their tandoori and chaat menu.

Desi dhaba is the first name that pops up to mind when we think of indian street food. Must visit restaurant to experience desi culture with desi food. We had lunch buffet on weekend which they have started recently. I must say Food and service is been impressive and we throughly enjoyed. Weekend buffet @49qr with enough selection of salads, tikkas, curries and dessert are worth trying.

A very cosy and nice place. Even if you do not like Indian cuisine, I think you should try at least one time. But be careful, they are very spicy 🙂

Didnot tried any food from there. We just bought a sweet and it was good. Great ambience, warm welcoming and place is also neat. Due to ashgal work going on in that area, finding a parking is bit difficult.

What a nice little find ! Popped in for a bit of lunch so didn't order anything too heavy. Food was lovely, waiter warned me of the heat on the first dish I was going to oder and I'm glad I changed as the heat was just right. The mango drink was lovely! Good flavours, great service and good price. I'm looking forward to coming in for dinner whilst I'm here that's for sure. Usman was a star thank you 😊 🙏

Good desi taste, I visited when they have Biryani Festa during the 1st Oct 2023 to 4th Oct 2023, Biryani taste good but not match with high quality standard, soft drinks relatively high priced they charge one can of soft drink 4 riyals, overall good experience.

We are fortunate to visit Briyani Festival in Desi Dhaba, it was delicious to had various type of veg and non-veg biryani. I would recommend my family and friends!!

The food was amazing with a great ambience that actually takes us back to Indian movies and shows in 90s..A great place to enjoy food and time with family. And their hospitality is soo great especially Usmaan there is soo down to earth and kind. Their daal and the tikka platter is amazing.

It was a week time since I landed in Doha and already star missing my desi Indian food. I tried couple of restaurants but couldn’t satisfied my test buds. One fine evening I came across this place and thought of giving try ,and oh my boy it was awesome . The perfect test and great and unique ambiance We tried dal makhani Highway chicken Roti Naan Jeers rice All good items were authentic Indian panjabi taste . One minus star for naan . They were not cooked properly but other than that all upto the mark Must try 🤘🤘

1- This restaurant is just few meters ahead of Beirut & Kashmir tailors. Parking can be a big issue as major road construction since many months is continuously going on. 2- Place is tiny ground floor but they have managed the seating capacity to the full. And it is always majorly crowded on the weekends. 3- My nose is in perfect health. I could not smelled a single buff of so many food orders being served around. Although non veg food always leaves a trail behind but here nothing like that. May be ventilation is strong. 4- When our food arrived I realized the reason. We ordered paneer lababdar and dal makhni with nan. Paneer was in thick creamy gravy like they put it in tomato sauce. Too sweet. (Dear Chef pls ask me tips to make it better). Dal Makhni - Woww how can you ruin such a signature dish of each dhaba? 5- I have no idea how is there non veg food quality but I guess visiting this place on the weekend was a mistake. 6- Staff is very sweet but serving those papads with onions is a grave mistake. Simply serve the papads. Those watery onion slices makes the lower papads so soggy. Or give the onions in a small bowl. Hope you guys will start using some spices just like true dhabas. All the best.

This is restaurant that has veg and non-veg indian dishes. The dishes are pretty good but could be better. The staff is friendly and keeps a check on you during the entire course of the meal. Ambience in the restaurant is pleasent and songs keep playing in the background for you to enjoy. It's a good place to enjoy with friends and family!

honest veg review .....We were fan of the Desi Daba...but from last couple of time we are seeing the quality and test is gone down. Food seems to be old and test less Now but do fan now ..will not be going again.
