This came with prime rib fillet, marinated chicken, marinated rib eye, marinated rib fillet, one stew, 2 steamed rice. Drinks were excluded. Located on 1st floor, private dining areas with dividers are available. Enough to satisfy our curiousity but would not come back.

Visited this restaurant for the first time in Doha. It’s a nice place located in a building so have to use the lift to find it. Once inside the ambience is neat and cozy. We ordered some Korean sets to share and still the food turned out to be a lot. What surprised me wa they don’t serve any desserts. Not sure if that is due to the cuisine or not. The service was excellent.

Hands down the best Korean restaurant in Doha by far. I may need to explore more but they are on top of my list. The service is prompt and the food quality is phenomenal. The staff even took time to explain all the side dishes provided. Hence you do pay slightly more but it’s worth every rial. I was thoroughly impressed and went home quite stuffed after getting a two-person set menu. I got an additional appetizer and a cold noodle and it was more than enough food even without those things. Foods came out quickly and whenever I pressed the button, someone arrived promptly. The best thing was I did not smell like I was wearing bbq after my meal. They have an air purifier or some sort that works effectively to take the smoke out while you cook the meal. I am very pleased with Maru and would love to return. Note: it is located inside a luxury villa and it is on the first floor

It's a nice place. Staffs are really welcome and professional,they repeated your order and when they served also repeat again to check and asked make sure our orders are all completed.service is great.they were very busy,restaurant was full.they had 2 seating time.so make sure and give time for other too. food are amazing.i really enjoyed grill items and all.

My favorite go-to Korean BBQ place that I almost visit 2-3 times a month. I would've rated this 5* if only the ventilation ever improved over the years. I wish they could take inspiration from Korean BBQ places around Asia where table-top grills have built-in ventilations on the table itself. It's the first time I've cooked my own food at a restaurant table and it was thoroughly enjoyable. The staff are polite and helpful. It was quite busy so we had a bit of a wait but it was worth it. Definitely not a place for vegetarians as the options would be too limited but if you like meat this is the place for you. I'm not a massive meat eater but the meat portions were sliced thin enough not to be overwhelming and there are plenty of vegetable sides with rice. I really enjoyed the meal experience and would definitely come again.

The place is so Cozy, it's like a little Korean village. A lot of choices on the menu, and not so Pricey, just within the budget. The staff are so overwhelming. Definitely going back soon 😊❤🙏

Reasonably Korean set up with semi formal ambiance. Food was authentic Korean tastes and was delectable with prices to match its rarity in Doha. BBQ stove was electrical versus the traditional coal fired grills in Korea and in some more traditional setups I have been to, and the staff did not assist in grilling the meat that we had experienced in Korea. Overall a pretty tasty dining experience minus the tradition if you have deep enough pockets. Dinner for 4 persons came up to almost 1000 riyals.

Love it! Although it is expensive, the taste is incredibly Korean. The marinated meat, side dishes, the fishcake soup, everything is really tasty! Will definitely come back to try other dishes.

I recommend the meal B which I post photo for it. What a wonderful experience I had with my friend. The waiter cook the food live in our table. The food is delicious, great value of money for what you get. End with Korean Tea complementary. No worries for the parking because there are plenty behind the tower. Take the elevator to floor 1 and enjoy it.

The kalbi beef ribs was soft and delicious off the bone. The server impressed us pronouncing the dish names in perfect Korean. The seats were small the seafood pancake didn’t enough seafood. But all in all, everything was on point. Love the food and location.

Great spot - conveniently located at the heart of downtown. If you are a Korean Food lover and finds comfort in devouring the freshly grilled meats, and mixed vegetables with noodles soup, then this is a must-try place to go!! I came with friends and we enjoyed the cozy private ambiance besides the foods.

Ive been here twice. And i do notice the quality of beef brisket has dropped. Recently it wasnt as good, and the tofu jigae took so long to arrive, when we almost finish all the meals. i still say some of the item in the menu is more expensive than another korean resto for example the dolsot bibimbap is QAD 75. Korean bbq set has different items on it. The all beef set is 250QAd for 2 pax. Grill your own beef, the waitress will change the grill when she sees all the juices already stuck on it , to make cleaning easier. There are other items in menu, cold noodles, galbi tang, ginseng chicken. Reservations are a must as the resto is busy during weekends. Total bill for 3 pax bill was QAD 381. incl 3 drinks + 1 dolsot bibimbap.

Super fresh delicious food, Reasonable price, Very kind staffs and owner, Fantastic Korean traditional atmosphere and great sanitary condition. Everything is perfect. They recently released the new lunch box since Everyone has suffered corona situation, as expected... they never betray the taste and cleanliness! I could say ‘there is a person who never visits here, but there is no person who visited only one time’

Good food and staff. They have a huge parking space which was quite convenient for me. The price is reasonable since it is not easy to get the good quality Korean ingredients in Doha. I will visit again soon with my wife.

Maru is really authentic Korean restaurant in Doha. Price is a bit high comparing to other Korean restaurants but the taste is close to authentic. They don't have any other company discount except for Qatar Airways staff. The food used to be very good and more authentic, but these days it doesn't taste very authentic as it is before and the taste was a bit bland. They have set menus as well as a la carte. Service is great and all staff are very friendly as usual!:-)

This is my favourite Asian restaurants by far in Doha. The food and the atmosphere take me back to Korea. Unlike some places they don't compromise on taste and stay true. It's well worth the price and the staff were attentive and a positive attitude.

Me and my family had good time there. Food was good only ventilation was little bad from Korean restaurants i been before... Menu was good but if you have kids under 6, 7 years then menu is not friendly.

I had a nice dinner with my friend, just two of us, but tables are also available for larger groups. The food was good, fresh and quality ingredients, cook hot and freshly with generous serving sizes, and the ambience was relaxing, light and fun, with good music and decor. We (group of three) went for dinner, and as always they delivered! We ordered the grill and the meat was tender and delicious, came with soup to share. The food arrived quickly and we always love the tea served afterwards. Deepthi was lovely and made sure to check in every so often to make sure we have all we need.

When first walking into the restaurant, the servers and the people there are very nice and welcoming. When we came we immediately got a table and had our cutlery served to us. The food provided was very delicious. We really enjoyed all the free side dishes that was provided. We really got to know more about Korean dishes. We also really enjoyed cooking the beef, even though it was our first time. The server taught how to properly use the cutlery, for example the scissors to cut the beef, and cook the beef which was nice. Overall, the atmosphere was nice and all the servers were really caring. I rate this restaurant 5 stars.

Great korean restaurant in Qatar. They have great service and great food. We tried their barbecue set for two which cost 250 riyal. It comes with set of appetizer total of 8 kinds, rice, set of lettuce soup and the barbecue of your choice. Good option to try authentic korean food. Spot is also good for casual "date" :). Place is a bit small and can be crowded from time to time.

Delicious! Cute place (more ventilation would be good, but I was so busy eating my yummy barbecue, It did not disturb me)! Can't wait to go back there! Do yourself a favor, go there instead of going to YeeHwa where the hygiene is poor( check the toilets... 😱🤢) and the waitresses are so rude.

Authentic korean dishes. Their korean BBQ set menu is overwhelming. You must try it, cook your own meal. However, i think yee hwa is better in terms of taste, allthough Maru is not bad at all. Definitely will return to taste for more dishes.

Service and service crews are amazing. The place is aesthetic and clean. Food is very delicious (sweet and spicy chicken is my fave). You'll definitely enjoy what you pay for. (my K-drama fangirl heart is satisified haha!)

It was a new experience and my first time. Food is good. Staff very welcoming and attentive. Staff helped us to prepare the chicken and we did the beef ourselves. We had selected bbq set A, coz that is the only one with chicken. The portion is just right. Finally the bill is paid at the counter.

This is the place to go if you want the closest thing to authentic Korean food in Doha - BBQ, stews, tteokbokki, etc. The food itself is great albeit relatively pricey. The catch: if you are expecting decent service on a Friday night, you won’t get it in this place. Reservation: We booked for a 7pm slot but upon arriving (at around 7:10pm), the table was still ‘occupied’. We let it pass, and we were finally able to come in at 7:40pm. Food service: The Korean bbq set arrived 15 mins after we ordered which was good. But when it arrived, it wasn’t complete and everything else after this came in piecemeal. The rice and plates weren’t complete. The tongs and scissors weren’t there - we were a group of six so this was a real inconvenience. The water wasn’t served. The stews came in 5 minute intervals. The appetizer was served after everything else. We literally had to ask for all these from 3 different people 5 times (in at least 5 minute intervals!!), and it wasn’t until the last person we asked gave it to us. The servers were either too busy serving new orders, or standing by the entrance for whatever reason. At one point, one of the waitresses blatantly ignored one of my companions. The management seems to not know how to manage the servers or deal with a busy Friday night. In one instance, we asked one of the people who appeared to be part of the management for water, and instead of just getting it straight from the fridge which was a few meters from where we were sitting, she just had to tell one of the servers who was already overloaded with likely 10 other things to do. This server she talked to didn’t end up giving the water. At the end of the evening, we relayed this feedback to the management as well but I did not really get a sense of acknowledgement or comfort that they would try to improve moving forward. Value for money: overall this falls short. The price we paid for six people is almost comparable to what one would pay for a restaurant in a five-star hotel with great service. The portions here were okay (barely) but the service really brings down the whole experience

Food portions are too little, and it keeps getting smaller. Highly Overpricing , too expensive. You can get the same food quality maybe better anywhere else with 40 % - 60% less prices at any Korean restaurant in doha. The staff was friendly and cooperative.
