This dessert bar has always been a goto for their taste and the bars ambience. Outside seating is as lovely as the inside, with plush armchairs and padded chairs. The flavours for their ice cream are also on point. Try their Fondue chocolate which comes with cakes, bananas, strawberries and marshmallows. We also enjoy their red velvet cake or their decadent chocolate cake, with moist texture and creamy layers. Service is very active and all around helpful. The location can't be beaten. Try this place for your sugar fix as it's open until 12am. If you feel like having breakkie and lunch with a view, stop by in the daylight hours and enjoy the food with a picturesque and calm view of the docks.

I really feel the need to share my latest experience at the chocolatebar in the Pearl. For the past 2 years I have been a regular customer there but you lost me and my family today as a client due to the bad customer service we had. Almost everything was far below a reasonable standard: the cappuccino was just water with milk and had to be asked for another one with coffee in it, the breakfast was served without the butter and the marmalade, we had to ask for it ourselves. The drinks arrived when we finished almost all of our breakfast. No salt, no pepper on the table The excuse from the waitress? I am alone ma'am. Can I suggest some more and experienced staff ? What made me decide to never come back again was not only the bad service but the fact that, although I mentioned we have the entertainer voucher (which we have used before in the past for breakfast ) I only got informed when paying my bill that the policy had been changed 5 days beforechanged and therefore I could not use it. When I mentioned that we, as clients, are not informed in any way, your waitress just looked away and said that she had forgot to mention it. Sorry ma'am. Well thank you staff !! Living here in the Pearl gives me a lot of opportunities to dine or have breakfast, I always was happy with your food and service but due to this treatment to us which was so bad and even rude you lost us as customers. Will not recommend your place anymore. Hope you will take this review at heart , perhaps you can train your staff on providing better customer service.

Popular spot for breakfast, they also have good mains and desserts of course. Today tried the burger which was satisfying and freshly made. It tasted like home made burger. The steak sandwich was also good. Good qualify and reasonable prices and you can use Entertainer if you have it. The rolling and swinging table with the chairs is a nice touch.

One of the best places to have chocolate fondue.. And coffee. The cakes here.. The red velvet was good not too sweet.. The place is best to be visited during the winter where you can sit outside and have an amazing view..

Really I like this place but I have rated it one star because of the service. In the last year some of the staff members has been changed but unfortunately for the worsening. Last weekend I have visited the place with my family to have some desserts, normally we are using Entertainer vouchers for the last four or five years but this time they have rejected the vouchers and the Manager said that they are not accepting Entertainer vouchers for the last six months which is not true as I went there on December 2018 from four months which means that this Manager is not saying true words. Really I have shocked in dealing with this guy, he is extremely different than all the people who are working in all restaurants in Qatar. He doesn’t know the rules of his duty in dealing with customers, He was scornful of my words. Anyway I will not visit this place again because of service.

The place atmosphere is awesome specially in the morning, drinks are good as well well. We came back to them two days later with another group who tried juices which was fresh and tasty but honestly the quantity is tiny. They have tried food as well (Pasta & Burger) which they found good !

It was such a great one !! I get one of Caramel Frappe shakes! and have a desserts was a delicious and yummy! As good to recommended !!

This is really really great breakfast! The outdoor seating is very serene and so nice view by the beach water. I got the Egg Benedict Turkey and American breakfast which tasted really really good and all is fresh and tasted good.. Very big area and price is reasonable with quality. This is highly recommended and the staffs are very very nice and well-experienced with professionalism especially to Maam Melissa Arellano for the very good service to us and so accommodating and friendly... i will come back for sure!!

Finally I found a great place for breakfast. The service can't be better. The atmosphere is nice. The music is not loud, not noisy. This place has a nice sea view but they are not utilizing it, the sofas are low and the view is blocked. I recommend replacing the sofas with normal dinning tables and chairs so view can be visible.

It's the best place. The food is awesome. The staff are so kind and sweet. Juni is the sweetest! I have to visit here again.

The food at Chocolate Jar is outstanding especially their beef steak salad... Wow!! The location has a gorgeous view of the Pearl, no place I've been to beats the view. The staff are very friendly and the service is SUPER, you order your your food and get it in a second. Keep it up guys you are very efficient!!!!

Alison Nelson's Chocolate Bar is definitely one of the best places in Doha for breakfast with a great terrace and view. The menu offers a lot of great options, the service is great, the people working there are very kind and always there to help. A special mention to Lane who was very nice and attentive to our needs! They open at 8, we made a reservation for two today "Friday September 24th" at 8-8:30. Arrived at 8:10, we got our table outside as we ordered, they provided AC with the umbrella and all, we were served by Mr.Ibrahim. I had steak 'n egg for breakfast, apple pie and hot salted caramel hot chocolate, they provided us bread with butter and jam. I absolutely loved the food, it needed salt for me but hey it's personal choice and I did sprinkle some salt and pepper, their music selection was perfect and calm, not too loud as well, the service was amazing, hands down to Mr.Ibrahim for his attitude, keeping a smile on the entire time and being so professional. Overall it was a good experience, I think I will be a regular customer there. Highly recommend

It's sad to see how Changing the name can change the way a restaurant is. This place which used the be called chocolate bar used to be a place to relax on weekends . But now it has all the looks of a run down place.. Beginning from the menu which has been changed for the worst,botched orders, unfriendly staff .. now it is the exact opposite of what the place was. And finally... the flies, oh my god the place is s arming with them.. So unless they take drastic measures this venture is going south. Iam sure I will not return.

Typical American diner dishes mostly, nothing fancy, but excellent quality and very tasty dishes (for the most) ! We tried a bit of everything, all equally good : burger and focaccia were really tasty, nicely cooked meat, very good sauce on both ! Chicken Alfredo pasty was delicious, al dente cooked, creamy texture and savoury sauce. Chicken caesar was good also, lacking some flavour but a tender chicken nonetheless. The only disappointment was the saffron shrimp risotto : shrimp was dry and overcooked, and the rice was poorly executed ! But all in all, a nice relaxing and tasty experience.

It's funny that this place is called "Chocolate Bar" while it's pasta is 10× better than desserts there. I tried all and I can say I'm satisfied with them. My favorites are the alfredo and el pesto. When it comes to desserts, I tried the apple pie, chocolate fudge cake, carrot cake, strawberry shortcake gelato and all were a bunch of disappointment. The chocolate lava cake made it up for me.  There are some strange things about the menu, like the cookies sandwich, its 78 QR which tastes the exact same as Applebee's 29 QR one!! and the classic brownie with gelato is 29QR but the oreo one is 48QR. Why exactly is that?
