The food was so good we barely had time to snap a picture! The vegetables were almost as fresh as my date and the servers were amazing!

Apparently the ownership changed, waiter and waitresses do their best however food is not the same any more. They don’t even have Khinkali on menu any more. Khachapuri was not the best but ok, mix grill was below average. Meat was not soft and portion was smaller than I expected.

Location of the restaurant really perfect you can enjoy outside during the good weather. We ordered Khinkali 3 out of 5 . Kachapuri was too salty . Service was friendly and efficient.

I loved this place so much that I came to eat here two days in a row. At first I was not happy with the greeter as they were not very friendly. I decided to wait and was pleasantly surprised. The food was delicious. The cheese bread!!!! I dream about it. The hookah is high quality. I will be back. This is a must visit place. I highly recommend.

Sitting outside makes it a great experience since you are in Souq Waqif. The menu could have more options but what we order was really good.

I came to the restaurant twice, for lunch and dinner. It was a great experience to try some Georgian Cuisine. My lunch was a simple one with a few appetizers. I had the Trio and Lobio. These are pate types of appetizers. It seems pomegranates are a popular garnish and topping in Georgian cuisine. Their eggplant pate was the best among all. That was part of the trio. The lovely waitress who served me lunch named Chris, recommended a lemon mint drink. It was nice and refreshing for a hot day in Doha. I sat inside the restaurant at lunchtime. The next day I went back for dinner to try their dinner after seeing some good reviews. I chose outside seating, the comfy couch-like seating. Gavin, the waiter, was attentive and did a good job taking my order and making my stay comfortable because outside seating can be hot, but with the big fan and mist running beside my table, I was satisfied. Again, I ordered lemon mint to refresh. My entree was exceptional! I had Shila Plavi, lamb chops with rice on a hot stone pot. It wasn’t disappointing at all. The dish was so delicious. The rice was a risotto type of rice, so it was moist and sticky. There’re two lamb chops plus some lamb meat mixed in the rice. I hardly eat lamb, but this dish could change how I feel about lamb chops. The Manager, Mohamed, came by to ensure everything was up to my standard. It was an I was happy to have eaten some delicious meals during my stay in Doha. Thanks!

A whole bunch of people have been travelling to Georgia recently, and they have been raving about their delicious food. So, when I heard of a new restaurant serving Georgian cuisine, I had to try it out. We even had a friend at the table who had visited Georgia, who guided us through the dishes. Let’s start with the ambience first. The roof was quite rustic, with multi-colored pendant lightings which gave an authentic look. And the restaurant chill vibe was complimenting the souk wakif theme. The seating arrangement was very comfortable with nice spongy arm rests. Usually when the seats are so laid back, one needs to crouch in front to eat food, which makes it an ordeal. However, this place was different, though the seats were laid back, we were able to eat comfortably. Once at the table, we were greeted by our server Gavin, a gentleman from Goa. He gave us his recommendations in the menu. We had a look ourselves and placed the order. Khachapuri (Georgian style Pizza) - For starters, we ordered the famous Khachapuri. We asked for two kinds Megruli & Imeruli. The Megruli was delicious with the Silguni and mozzarella cheese which made it nice and stringy. The Imeruli was good because the exterior was crispier almost like an Indian Paratha, and crispy with cheese is always a good combination. Beef Khinkali (Dumplings) - We then had Beef Khinkali (dumplings). It was oozing with the sauce, which made it nice and juicy. I wish there was a sauce to accompany, would have been divine. Qababi Lamb (Kofta Roll) – I did not find this that good. To be honest, it tasted quite bland even with the sauce served. I would not recommend it. Kharcho Stew (Beef Stew) & Gomi (Cornmeal Porridge) – The beef stew was delicious. The beef cubes were very tender and succulent. An absolute flavor bomb in the mouth. The Gomi tasted quite bland on its own, but with the stew it was an excellent combination. Skhmeruli (Half Chicken with Garlic, fresh cream & butter) – This dish is heavenly, and perfect for one with a big appetite. The crispy chicken skin, tender chicken meat, saltiness of the butter, richness of the cream along with the mellow pungent flavor and nuttiness of garlic; How can you go wrong? Just thinking about it, gets my mouth watering. Mtsvadi Mixed Grill – While ordering this dish, we were told that we would get 5 pieces of each meat, but when we received the plate it was maybe 2-3 pieces of each item, which was a disappointment. Even the meat was quite tough, and difficult to chew. I wouldn’t recommend it. So guys please try this place, and definitely order my recommended dishes.

This is the ultimate destination if you want to experience delicious, fresh, authentic Georgian food. Everything we tried was very tasty. Service was friendly and fast, nice atmosphere and shisha with tea to finish the great evening. Highly recommended.

Nice Georgian food, with Kachipuri being a highlight! However service was poor and rather slow

Khachapuri was so delicious. Dolma was also good but the portion wasn’t enough for me. However, napoleon dessert was not the same with the original one. Because the layers was not crispy and still the taste of the cream was fine even if it doesn’t resemble the original ones cream.

Very tasty food and very nice place to spend time. Especially very nice meat and khachapuri crispy bread with hot chees perfect start for a day. Can recommend there salads as well.

A well decorated place with a nice interior. We went there for a family lunch. It was the best food we had on our 4 countries family trip. My recommendation is Lamb chops and Chicken steaks. Food was so good we had to re-order these dishes. A must visit if you are looking for Turkish/Lebanese food.

Great portions, full of flavour, nice vibe! We stayed at the Al Mirqab hotel and decided to eat here the first night. SO glad we did! The portions were excellent sizes and the quality of the food was extremely high. We shared a bunch of plates including the falafels, tabouleh salad, etc. (omg, the tahini sauce was incredible!) You can dine inside or out depending on the weather and there will most likely be some form of live entertainment outdoors in the evening. We returned here again for the breakfast buffet and it was an AMAZING value! So many options for the price you pay. I highly suggest coming for breakfast. ***TIP: If you are staying at the Souq Waqif Boutique Hotel you will receive 20% off your bill, so be sure to tell your server!***

We try the food here because in the reviews that it is good food so we expecting that it will be good. But sadly to say we didn’t enjoy the food a lot of portion for the lentil soup but need to make improvement on the taste . The serving is only for 1 person can’t be share for two. And also the preparation is not the same as we saw on the reviews. The price is high for this food but no problem if the food is good and and the portion was enough to share. Now i can say that i can’t recommend this to any one you will waste your money sorry. I think the restaurant need to improve something for the taste and the portion of their food.

Excellent place to take a dinner inside of Souq Waqif place. Top services from the Georgian waiters too and finally the food is awesome. Had the best kachapuri ever, you really need to try it. Price are decent and portions large. Thanks, I will come back.

I went to the restaurant last February for a new food experience with my wife , the food was delicious and i was surprised by the amazing fast service delivery That Jitu And Paul offered us it was really a memorable experience , promised to leave a review but i forgot then i came across a souvenir picture and remembered those two amazing workers who deserves wonderful reviews .Thank you for the service and we will be back soon again

Khachapuri was tasty, but grill mix… too burned, with weak taste. Also pinaple juice with too much water. Location is cool, especially outside, and really friendly staff ( who rescued 4 stars instead of 3 for food).

Truly amazing authentic Georgian food in Qatar. The kuchipudi, the momos, and all the other Georgian food is really amazing. The staff is over shelving and courteous. Warm welcome and good ambience makes this place a good choice for food...

Food was delicious. Catered for me as a vegetarian and husband as a meat eater. Service was excellent, very attentive. And a good espresso to top it off!
