Take a selfie with the camels and see them up close. The camel pen, located at souk waqif is open to the public 24/7.

Camels are tied on short rope to the ground. They can't make even a step back or forth. So unhumane! Seen how camels been treated in many arabic countries - never like that! It is not normal!

Glad to see them up close. I'm also surprised seeing these camels wearing masks! I think they are well protected from Covid-19 :))

The place is right next to Souq Waqif. The camels are quite curious so come right to the fence so you can pet them or make a photo. No one gonna stop you or charge for it. But it's a bit sad that these beautiful animals can't move freely.

Not right to see a camel nailed down the ground, can't walk around properly, really not nice to see. They should be better looked after.

The Camel Pen in downtown of Doha located next to the Souq Wakif. Camels are in a pen near boutique hotels and the road on outskirts of Souq. Most restaurants are fairly reasonably priced. Lots to choose from. We generally go to the ones where it’s busy as you know the food must be good. All the restaurants along the main strip are great you can even smoke shisha after your meal.

There are lot of beautiful camels where we can view it very close-by. Must to visit for children and adults. Smell is a bit unpleasant but worthy to visit.

I’m no now we think it’s cruel to see camels tied to a leash however so nice to peacefully see camels just resting and eating and social behaviours

Sad to see camels restrained with front legs tied together. Such beautiful animals should be free to move in their natural environment, not a pen in the city to delight tourists.

(Translated by Google) Here is a place that I didn't particularly like. It is found indicated as a museum but in fact it is a caravan of men like many unfortunately seen around. Perhaps because I remember the abominable one of Djibouti (inside the port area) that I didn't like this either. Having enjoyed in the desert around Doha, the superb elegance of movements of this noble animal that roamed with absolute ease in its natural habitat, seeing it closed then in an enclosure, al.margine del suq, hurt me. I love animals in their free state. It is in fact I categorically refused to go to the part of the souq where their market is. The two stars certainly go to the poor camels not to the place.

Awesome experience to watch these many happy camels. For sure worth to in combination with a visit at Souq Waqif. There is a great care for these camels and you can come very close to them if you are a camel lover.

Very exotically atmospheric for a Westerner. Interesting to see the camels and the care of the riders as they take off the saddles and other gear and put blankets on the camels.

It is terrible to treat animals like this. Camels with their legs tied and in the paddocks with so many other camels definitely didn't look happy.

Get there shortly before 4 and watch the Emiri guard ride the camels across the street. Shortly after 5, they will return and let you get right up next to the camels. You can get into the pen with them.
