From start to finish, this hotel is perfection. Upon arrival, you’re blown away from the facade of the building, the reception (lobby) area was grand and had incredibly high ceilings. The staff were friendly and quickly checked us in. The room is massive, bigger than some suites I’ve stayed at in other hotels! You’re immediately greeted by a stunning room & bathroom. I loved the marble theme which is apparent throughout the bedroom & bathroom. I love the way there is a separate bath and shower & an enclosed toilet area. The bed was divine - so comfortable and spacious! What really made this a 5* stay for me was the little touches and consistency. They replenished the tea with the bags that were actually missing and not just anything they could find. I’ve stayed at other 5* hotels where it was just replaced with anything so I was very surprised. Without doubt, I would stay here again. The only downside is that it’s a little far from Doha City Centre and the metro station is about a 10 minute walk away (which is a challenge in 36c heat!) well done Marriott!

Overall, fantastic and amazing experience. The hotel provided high standards of service. Majority of the staff were very friendly, nice and welcoming. However, the lady on the reception needs to be more cooperative and some of the security needs to be more polite. Unfortunately, I didn’t had the time to visit some of the hotel facilities. The beach was amazing and clean. They have huge swimming pool. Very nice place for family.

5-star rating for the brand new « Vintage Lounge » managed by Dave and Victor. Both of them have a true sense of hospitality and ability to share their passion for what they do. Your house negronis are the best we’ve ever had! Thank you for being the highlight of the trip!

Other hotels in the area are better. The facilities are mediocre here other than the pool (that much is nice). The gym has very old equipment and is a rather tight space. It’s an uncomfortable environment overall. The spa doesn’t have a sauna or steam room or jacuzzi. You have to book a private room jacuzzi if you want that - weird. Rooms are humid and run down. Wall paper peeling. Very run down overall. Complicated to get to basic areas of the hotel. Takes 15 minutes to get from your room to the gym. Like a maze. Hotel nickel and dimes on so many things. Service is awful…. Breakfast 200Qr vs other hotels of similar class offering it for 100qr…. And the st Regis isn’t better.

Let me start with this: every simple task takes a decade to be done you’ve to ask over and over. No one picks up the phone No one is helping you to get anything done and even if you complain to the hotel manager they just apologize but nothing changes. For this amount of money I expected better service but what I’m getting doesn’t even equate to a two star hotel and I’ve been staying here long enough to know that this isn’t a one off thing. Of course I’m not gonna stay here again and if it wasn’t for my bags I would’ve left already.

We stayed there for a night, the pool was closed. No one ever told us about the service of transportation offered by the hotel to another sister hotel. I was very disappointed as the kids missed the opportunity to be with us and enjoy the pool. Highly disappointed.

Absolutely the best stay we've ever had anytime around the world. It's going to be difficult to top our hotel experience here. Super friendly, polite, and helpful staff; great facilities (pool, spa, beach, wieght room, clubhouse, etc.); breakfast; and room. We were pampered the entire time we were here.

The brand is at the top of the hotel industry! We love to go there and spend a day or two, despite living in Doha! It is that once you get in, you leave everything behind and you are on vacation, even when you are just two steps away from your house. Beautiful building, excellence service. Olympic swimming pool and beach and all the usual services. We will continue to go back

Your hotel is a 4.5-star hotel with 2-star management and customer service. 1. Many staff when you ask something, they know nothing. Many times this exists e.g. where is the kids area, no body is able to guide me. 2. Reception seems like they do not know what 5 star hotels are, and they only want the money. They did not provide a receipt as well. When asked, they provided black white paper without header and it was an invoice, not a receipt. Waiting time in reception is long. 3. Room requested in advance including time, but room was ready after 2-3 hours than the request despite confirming email that it is ready. 4. Hotel attitude is not to apologise upon falling to do something. They do not even compensate you with a cup of drink or a voucher. 5. Hotel attitude is not courageous. If you request 2 items, they bring you one, and ignore the other until you remind them. 6. Labels and access in the hotel is not clear I.e. written Vine restaurant, but you do not know the entrance is left or right. If you go right, you see yourself in the toilets. You need to go to the pool, you have to go mezzanine then through another entrance proceed to ground. The names of the floors are confusing and even staff are confused ground floor and lobby is in the first floor. Etc. Waste of time and difficulty to identify locations first time unless the staff guides you. 7. Good thing is the beach easy access. The pools are OK, but the big one heater is very weak and water cannot be warm may be needs 10 hours upon switching heater on.

The entire experience is amazing start to finish. Rooms are incredible. Beds are incredible and I find myself finding it very difficult to get up in the mornings as a result! Breakfast is incredible with lovely sun, birds chirping and a light breeze. The pool and private beach is really nice. Pool temperature is fresh. Somewhere between too cold and refreshing. Deep who made up my room every day was fantastic and made sure I had everything I need.

I was really surprised why this hotel has good rating? The staff are rude and tried to overcharge me for the stay in advance just for requesting an early check in which was already confirmed by the application of the Marriott bonvoy, not to mention that I’m an elite member, but apparently the staff don’t know basic service or curtesy. I cancelled my stay in their hotel and stayed in the Intercontinental which turned out to be great stay. Don’t waste your money in this hotel.

The lobby tables were dirty & sticky. I asked the 3 times to clean it. They were LAZY to clean & gloomy. The cheese cake is very bad, the biscuits based wasn’t there. Carrots cake was full of dry fruits (why? Its CARROTS Cake,, DAA Latte was Milk, not coffee at all. Is this a standard of 5 stars hotel? Disappointing

I don’t believe that the pictures online do this place justice, it is grand and has a beautiful pool & beach area. The sea isn’t very clean to swim in but refreshing. The staff were flawless, the rooms were so comfortable that it felt like home. It was a really huge space, full of many delicious restaurant options. Spa was beautiful, had my hair done by a lovely hair dresser from Lebanon and loved it. Gym area was accessible, quiet and spacious. Food at the beach area could be better, I’d give it a 6/10. The breakfast buffet was amazing! My favourite members of staff were at breakfast and the beach. Highly recommended

Fantastic service, great location and big and deep swimming pool. Oyster bar is very quiet and should be playing some island type of beach music as it doesn’t have the soul at all. Good variety at the breakfast buffet, but eggs benedict could be improved to be more flavorful. All in all the staff is very friendly and helpful.

Exceptional Service and Luxurious Experience Every top hotel has a nice pool, beachfront, good food and so on. BUT What is the difference between a 5 Star hotel and a 5+ Star hotel? THE STAFF! Those people makes your stay unforgettable. I recently had the pleasure of staying at a hotel in Qatar, and I must say it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The first thing that stood out to me was the fantastic staff. Not only were they highly professional, but they were also incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to ensure that every guest felt welcomed and taken care of. The breakfast buffet was nothing short of excellent. The high-quality food options were abundant, and it seemed like they had everything you could imagine. The staff serving at the breakfast area were truly outstanding, always attentive and ready to accommodate any special requests. One of the highlights of my stay was the impeccably clean and pleasant pool area. With its convenient location right by the beach, it offered a serene and relaxing atmosphere. Whether you wanted to take a dip in the pool or soak up the sun on the beach, the hotel provided the perfect setting for both. Additionally, the hotel boasted a variety of different restaurants, each offering a unique culinary experience. From authentic local cuisine to international delights, there was something to satisfy every palate. Exploring the different dining options was a true delight, and I appreciated the variety and quality of the food available. Overall, my stay at this hotel in Qatar exceeded all expectations. The exceptional staff, luxurious amenities, and stunning beachfront location made it a truly memorable experience. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a top-notch hospitality experience in Qatar. A special thanks to Mr. Seyed Kazi and Mr. Maged. Everyone from the breakfast buffet (Erendira, prakash, Amado and many more) The whole team at the pool and Oyster lounge (Sahan, Elyas, Sherwin, Innocent, Nathaniel..) Mr. Ahmad from front desk. Kateryna from Guest relationship. And not to forget the Alma the queen of the breakfast area! Just to drop some names. You guys made our stay to a very special time. I’m sorry not to remember all the names. THANK YOU ALL!!!!

It was an absolute pleasure from the moment I set foot on the property. Although the immigration officer gave a scare by giving a not so great opinion but I had faith in the St. Regis brand and it didn't let me down for sure! Michelle at the front desk was superb and should be used as an example to train other customer relations executives at the property. The staff, the rooms, the restaurants, the facilities and everything else was all five stars. Highly recommended and this will become my go-to hotel for all my future stays.

This is probably one of the best hotels I have stayed in. The location, the attention to detail. I cannot thank all the staff individually but they all deserve a mention. Excellent and warm. Everyone is willing to help and make your stay perfect. The room we stayed in was extremely large and great views. Just immaculate. I am hoping to comeback and also I am pleasantly surprised by Doha. The Lebanese restaurant and Italian just amazing. Ps any one wanting to see the city it's easy to get an uber

Great all round experience and fantastic Ramadan tents and events through the holy month. The outdoor settings are very pristine and very much inside Doha urban areas and yet feels like a resort outside the city.

We wanted a relaxing holiday without the need to sightsee and this self-contained hotel was just perfect. St Regis has an impressive culinary collection so it suited us just fine having nearly all our meals at the hotel. The hotel staff were wonderful and extremely responsive. Breakfast at the Vine was fabulous, the gym was state of the art and the pool and beach were great. We would happily return to St Regis on our next visit to Doha!

St. Regis is always beyond your expectations. From the time you park your car to the wonderful reception and smooth check-in to the luggage assistant and the great butler services. The room was clean and well maintained, luxurious as usual. The swimming pool is amazing with a nice beach area. Highly recommended hotel and perfectly located in Doha.

Its our last morning at the hotel as I write this review, and I don’t want to leave! We have had the most incredible stay here at the St Regis Doha and I know that we will definitely be returning again. The hotel is beautiful, its clean, the rooms are a very good size and for a family vacation it has been the perfect fit. Location is brilliant, this was affirmed by just about every taxi driver we used! We were centrally located and always no more than 10 mins away from all the major spots in Doha. The Beach and pool are amazing, they have cabanas and loungers, perfect for sun lovers as well as those that might want some shade. Breakfasts were incredible here, probably one of the best ones we have had at a hotel, every one is catered to, whether Indian, Middle Eastern or Continental, they even have a separate section for kids! But now I have to get to why this hotel stay has been the best we have had in a very long time. Its the people. Starting with Ayman on checkin, such a gentleman and absolutely determined to get us exactly what we wanted. 3 rooms, 2 interconnecting, on a higher floor, with a nice view and together! With the help of Heba, they did it! It took a bit longer as the rooms were not ready, (our fault as the ones that were did not meet our long list of requirements!), as we had just got off a flight, and we had to wait, Ayman made sure we were taken care of with snacks tea and coffee and when the rooms were ready, flowers for my self, my daughter and my mum!! Who does that!! Ayman continued to take care us of through out our stay, an absolute gem. Then Syed Kazmi, at Breakfast and out by the pool, he was amazing! Again another absolute gentleman, and determined to ensure that you have the absolute best experience at the hotel. From your breakfast, to special requests, to setting up the perfect spot by the pool, he was amazing! Anything we wanted to know about Doha, where to go, what to do, he was always at hand with useful advice and tips. At the same time Maged an incredibly kind and attentive man, Restaraunt General Manager at Breakfast, has been amazing. Always asking if we need anything, making sure we had exactly what we wanted. The impression you got was, don’t compromise, what ever you want, we will do it! And finally Mellissa, who was cleaning our rooms every day on our floor for the five nights that were here. She was amazing, so kind, so accommodating, and very very good at what she does. Tomorrow I will be back home doing what she does for my family, so I value and appreciate what she did for us immensely. This stay reminded me of the service that once upon a time hotels in Dubai used to give. We stopped going there a long time ago because you no longer felt you were seen when staying at a hotel there. Having for almost 18 years always stayed at Juneirah group hotels, St Regis Doha (Marriot) was a first for us. Im glad we did it. Sorry Jumeirah, but we have been converted. Thank you St Regis, we will be back!

It was a weekend stay. 2 days of excellence. service is outstanding, very professional, hospitable, and welcoming staff. Big Salute to guest service team and butler service. They were kind and gifted my daughter a teddy bear, a set of crayon colors and a paint book, this kind gesture made my daughter very happy. The room service team was very generous and sent us for two days a cup of warm milk for my daughter sleep time for free, how very thoughtful. Many thanks and see you soon.

Bit of a mixed review. Positives: - The service from the staff has been fantastic. The check in was extremely smooth, with reception staff very friendly and accommodating. Staff at the Astor restaurant were also AMAZING, especially our waiters, Safa and Khan (food was delicious too). - Room was very spacious and nice. Negatives: - Breakfast was TERRIBLE. Honestly, half of the food looked stale and plastic. We had breakfast included, but decided to just go and pay for food elsewhere. Very disappointing from the St Regis. - Half of the hotel looks renovated while the other half looks 20 years old. - The path to the pool literally looks like you’re walking through a block of flats in a 3rd world country, very strange. - Seems to be self service at the pool area; towels handed to you with no one helping you setup the loungers and provide water, not what you’d expect at a St Regis. We had just spent 5 nights at The Chedi prior to St Regis and honestly, I wish we stayed there; the quality of hotel is on a different level. Without the great service from the Astor grill and hotel reception staff, my rating would definitely be lower.

From the design and decorations to the pool/ beach facilities everything is just impeccable. The breakfast is amazing. The service caters to all your whims. And when we needed to get across to another building they drove us in a golf cart ☺️.

The staff were attentive, friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast was good. What was disappointing was the buffet dinner option at the same restaurant was closed for the duration of our stay. However there were other restaurants on the property. One being the Astor restaurant which was average and overpriced. The Opa Greek restaurant was excellent. What was annoying on two of our three nights private functions were held which restricted our movement in certain areas of the hotel. Even though we were on the 5th floor we could hear the music clearly until 1 am in the morning.

Most facilities are good in this luxury hotel, but there is one receptionist guy who was so rude with us! His name is Emile. He is the one who made the check in for us. I wish that I could meet the manager to complain about this disrespectful person! I wish that they teach Emile the receptionist guy how to talk with customers and how to be respectful to them!

We love st regis. We have been going there regularly since we arrived in Doha. The pool is nice. The staffs were friendly. Food depends where you dine. The high tea was the best value for money in my opinion for Doha. The buffet that has themes, are not that great, we went to the one with seafood theme. Was average. Spa was good but just expensive, i prefer sharq village spa setting for ladies day out. The beach is nice but could improve. The setting of the beach hut is not that inviting as intercontinental next door. They share the same beach. Overall, its a nice place for staycation. Ah they also have private villas to rent day basis which have own pool. Just for day use.

Our family stayed at st. Regis one night. This was an amazing trip, and an unforgettable experience. My wife's birthday was on that day, and we were surprised with a beautiful and good tasting cake, with two splendid plates with pastries for my two kids. Nino was the staff who provided us with such lovely decorations. The pool was huge and the kids enjoyed it very much. Overall, I am super satisfied and would definitely recommend.

We are really out of words to describe our stay at the St. Regis Doha. Breathtakingly beautiful hotel, huge pool, a very nice private beach and a wonderful atmosphere. The room was perfectly clean, very comfortable and the sea view was amazing! A very special shout out goes to the STAFF of St. Regis hotel. We have rarely experienced such highly competent, professional and yet so very friendly and polite staff. Any question, concern, query or request you might have, will be solved by the staff immediately. The floor butler service left us sweet surprises in the room every now and then which really made us feel special. The entire staff at the breakfast front is extremely friendly, helpful, and super competent. A special mention to DANE and ALEXA and the front desk staff for their exceptional services! We cannot emphasise enough on how helpful and nice they were. We reccomend St. Regis to absolutely everyone who is planning a trip to Doha! We felt litetally a home and the entire staff, be it the front desk staff, the breakfat staff, the lobby staff or the floor butler staff, everyone started feeling like a big family an we miss everyone very much. Thankyou everyone at St. Regis for making our trip so memorable and beautiful. Regards, Max and Eva

Extremely surprised by the good comments. I stayed twice in saint regis Doha and had 2 consecutive bad experiences. The service is simply awful and absolutely not a level that you would expect for such a hotel. The first time I stayed there, few weeks ago, I checked in and went to the room right away as I had a very important business meeting. Once in the room I figured out that the wifi is not working. I called 4 times someone to fix it but nothing happened. After 30min, I went to the lobby of the hotel to do the meeting surrounded by noise and guests going back and forward. No compensation, nothing to make you feel that this is something wrong that shouldn’t happen when you pay for such an expensive and « luxury » hotel. During the same trip, the room was noisy and I asked to change it. Same result (i.e, no assistance and no room changed even though 90% of the hotel was empty). Second time I went back to the hotel, I naively thought that the experience will be better but I unfortunately, same things happened. Extreme noise around the room starting from 7:30 AM - impossible to sleep knowing that I checked in at 3 am and the hotel was almost empty. Different noise at 9am and then 10am. I packed my stuff and left the hotel for another one without any compensation nothing. This is personally the last time in St Regis. Management will certainly answer to this comment saying that they did something for each situation but I can guarantee you that, if i take time to write this comment, it is because there was no action t’amène or compensation made and that 4.6 stars are far from the reality of the quality of service in there. Doha is full of good hotel and I’m sure you won’t have those issues somewhere else.

Overall this rates as one of our top experiences in a hotel. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a place to stay in Doha. I'll also include a few points below that represent room for improvement, but overall they are small in comparison with the cumulative positive experience we had. Service - Easily one of the best things to report here is the service. Virtually the entire staff is aligned with the approach to make the guest experience the best it can be. For example, I was just looking for the restroom in the vast lobby area, and a kind woman stopped her mopping of the floor, asked me if she could help, and then showed me the way. Food Hakasan was just incredible - very cool decor, great music and lighting, and perfect service. Expensive, as expected, but worth it. Morning breakfast buffet has all you'd expect and made a great start to the day. Evening buffet (not sure if this was only for Eid or not) outside was great. Beautiful lighting, and a vast range of great food and cuisines on offer. Bodega Negra was a cool environment, and service was good, but was overpriced for what it was. Recreation - The pool is evidently "Doha's largest" as it's Olympic-sized. Water temperature is ideal - very refreshing but not freezing - and not overly chlorinated. You'll see in the pics that there aren't any slides or other kid-friendly things, but you can bring balls, floaties, etc to make it fun for the whole family. Having the Oyster Bar and waiters there poolside is great, too - just watch out for some of the drink prices (see below). Fitness center is great. Great, new machines, water and towels on offer, plus sauna and steam room and great showers. "Tennis" is listed but it's really paddleball now so don't come thinking you'll play proper tennis. There are plexiglass walls now around the court, and the net is lower. It was fine for hitting the ball around a bit with my 11-year-old, but don't come thinking you'll have a full proper tennis game. Rooms - Our room was sea-facing deluxe king, and we had an extra bed for our son. Bed is super comfortable, the Nespresso machine + kettle + bottled water was all very convenient and fully stocked. I'm picky about light pollution - so many hotels have various lights glowing on gadgets and controls at night - but this was perfect: it was fully dark when lights were turned out. The slightly odd bit was going to the bathroom without switching the entire room's lights on, but once you find the right button by the bed, you get used to it. Beach area - Beach is nice, if a bit small. Sea floor can be rocky and/or muddy in places so it's best to have aquasocks or similar to be safe (though not necessary). There are lounge chairs, umbrellas, and an outdoor shower there, all accessible from the pool. Issues to be aware of - We were here at Eid, and one morning at 11am the breakfast buffet could not keep up with the full-capacity rush of guests wanting breakfast. High prices for alcohol drinks are expected in this part of the world, but buyer beware - we paid 270QAR for TWO VIRGIN MOJITOS - that's about $75 for two small virgin drinks, which is of course completely outrageous. Wifi by the pool is a bit spotty, but that's really 'first world problems' isn't it.

The hotel to stay at when in Doha! The newly renovated rooms are a real step-up, but what makes the real difference are the staff. I'd particularly like to thank Soufiane, who went above and beyond his call of duty. Thank you!

Beach/pool day pass is hugely overpriced, 450 riyal and the whole place is nothing like the photos, old beds, no good views, zero service- no towels no one comes to take your order. Massive waste on entrance

My first time in Qatar and these guys spoiled my arrival experience. Was served at the front desk, arrived at 4pm, an hour after check-in time of 3pm, (so I thought) and also being a loyal Marriott Bonvoy member. None of that mattered to the front desk. They made me wait 50 minutes and then had the cheek to give me an inferior room when I queried the delay - almost as though it was my fault for waiting. The hotel itself in terms of room quality and cleanliness is excellent and on-par with the St Regis brand (2 stars for that) - that said - the reason I chose the St Regis versus other hotels was for the service experience and I was let down on this after a tiring flight where they kept me waiting, without any updates for 50 minutes, unacceptable (minus 1 star), then gave me an inferior room when I queried (minus 1 star) and no bell boy to help with my luggage on arrival (minus 1 star). I won't be staying here again and sadly cannot recommend this hotel at this time based on my experience so far. Will update my review if that changes.

Really super nice rooms, amazing hotel as long as you do not call the reception as it is very similar to calling a call centre! I have never waited in any hotel for so long to reach to the reception, in one occasion I nearly waited for 30 mins just to request for house keeping. The room however are the biggest I have ever seen and the gym is fantastic

Overall, the service is excellent. Customer care, delicacy and kindness is a 10. The guys who work in the pool are very attentive and friendly. They also make the best mojitos! :)

It’s a late review, i was staying in St Regis Doha on September 2022. It’s amazing place. Rooms are huge, with a nice calm feeling of sea view through an infinite window. Everything is brand new and the service is great. My stay was a bit short (my arrival was at 11.30 pm due to flight). But other than that the stay was absolutely perfect!

Its a very nice place to be and most rooms have an oceanic view which adds to the value. Its also convenient with access to major road being very easy from the hotel. There's also a water sport club with many activities for everyone all ages. Taxis are abundant and very close to Doha and alqasar metro.

The hotel lobby has a very upscale classy luxury vibe. With a beautiful unisex scent that follows you wherever you go in the hotel, even your bedsheets. I just wish they had more general seating available in lobby. Rooms are the best rooms I have ever been in. Whoever planned the layout structure of this room really did a perfect job- keep that person!! The rooms are so spacious and bathroom has separate compartment for shower and toilet!! Beautiful ocean view with a nice pool area. Great place if you just wanna lay around and relax.

Amazing property with nice pool and beach. Have very nice restaurants and bars on premises. Staff is very friendly and rooms are very nice. All in all a lovely experience. Right at the heart of Katara, one of most sought after touristic places in Doha.

This is one of the best places I’ve been ever to!! From the first moment we entered till the last few hours of our stay .. We had enjoyed every moment.. and definitely we are coming back soon! The staff is helpful.. where ever you go they are always there for consult or help. The only thing we were not satisfied about is that the valet service obligatory .. when we prefer to park our car wherever we want .. surely it is a good way to make Clint more comfortable.. but for us absolutely no! Approximately it took us more than 20 minutes to receive our car!!! Which made us super mad!! It’s not acceptable at all … At the first time they said that they forgot to bring the car .. second time we have been waiting everyone received except us! I would like specially to thank Ms. Antoniette for her outstanding service .. thank you for you extraordinary care!
