Worst hotel in Doha. They don't even deserve a single star. I don't know how this hotel is rated a four star hotel. Parking at the hotel in nightmare and you can hear music all night from their night clubs. Not a family friendly hotel. If you need a peace of mind please avoid this hotel. This hotel is the only worst experience I had in Doha.

Hi everyone I hope my review help you all to make you best choice , and that choice IS NOT TO stay A ONE DAY in this ^^ MOTEL ^^ I’m writing this review at 12:45 am and I can’t sleep because of the nightclub music And for the Next 3 hours the nightclub music will be playing loud. If you want to waste your money and want to sleep with Nightclub mucus playing in your head this will be your best choice 😂😂😂

Nice hotel with a beautiful sea view & city view. Big room with two single bed. Housekeeping staff name Selim very helpful, nice, so polite he brings what we ask immediately after we called. Two times he came to our room to provide something for our room. Very nice. Thank you we have a pleasant stay

For this place my feedback just for hotel facility. You can come here for different reasons such as night club or other things..... This place is not hotel for travellers with humble expectations. It seems 4 stars hotel but in reality no. No good service, no good hospitality, limited cleaning, crazy noisy rooms due to constructions around and so on. Only good thing is closeness to the airport. We are professional travellers and stayed in many countries and places and just could stayed here for 2 nights. Original booking was longer. There was no internet, no hot water for shower, rooms were not cleaned and the guys in the reception was quite unfriendly. Sincerely we do not recommend..... Place is not for families.... Only for who is looking for street girls and night life....

Hotel is not suitable for a family at all. The disco is always on all night and can be heard loudly , drunk people are everywhere and it is very difficult to get an elevator ride without any security guards! The location is good but service are poor.

Pool was not available and under maintainance at the time of my stay, i called the reception about the wifi thats not connecting but no one came.. and the worst was i ordered food delivery but it was not allowed for the delivery man to go up and hand me the food.. they told me to go down to get the food which I never experienced in other hotels..the drawer beside my bed was dirty, airconditioning unit was not that cold and my stay gave me lots of sweats. Worst experience ever!

Seeing how my friend also posted about this here, I want to give my side of the story and ensure that no one else goes through what we did, so here it is. So, our night began with a simple reservation call to Cavalli Lounge. The lady on the phone confirmed our booking for a group of guys, so we were all set and excited. Little did we know what awaited us later. Upon arrival, the security personnel scanned our IDs and asked for my phone number. Pretty standard stuff, right? Well, here's where it gets interesting. When I politely asked them not to send any promotional materials, the man responded with, "You can block us if you don't want any after we send them to you." In hindsight, that should have been our first clue to turn around and leave. We had seen an Instagram post advertising an Indian night at the lounge, which led us there in the first place. But when we arrived, it was far from the lively, happening spot we expected. Picture this: dimly lit, nearly empty, and soft jazz lounge music playing in the background—not exactly the Friday night vibe we had in mind. We figured the party might start later, so we hung around for a bit and then decided to leave temporarily. Around 10 pm, we gave it another shot and returned to Cavalli . The security guy recognized us from earlier and let us in. But here's where the real trouble began. As we were searching for a place to sit, the manager, Hector, swooped in with an authoritative tone, asking if we had reservations. I calmly replied, "Yes, we do," but then came the shocker—Hector informed us that they don't allow male groups. Mind you, there were quite a few male groups already inside, which left us feeling insulted and bewildered. I expressed my disappointment saying ‘ We are leaving anyways. I do not like this place unfortunately’, and that's when Hector's attitude took a nosedive. He pointed us to the exit with no regard for courtesy. I asked for his name, and that's when things took a dramatic turn. As we were almost out the door, he followed us, shouting, "Excuse me, why do you want my name?" I told him, "I'm going to share my bad experience as a review," and that's when things got ugly. He went on a rant saying ‘”if you post it, I will also share what I have to say about you”, boasting about managing "five clubs like these," his connections, and even made a bizarre statement saying “I hope you work at a place like Qatar Airways, I will show you who I am”. He communicated that he knows my name from the reservations list and yelled, "Who are you to tell me you don't like this place? You are nothing. You are nothing." Picture this- us, the paying customers who just simply provided feedback, enduring an insulting lecture from the very manager of the place. Throughout this ordeal, other guests and bouncers gathered around, probably thinking we were causing trouble. Eventually, the bouncers who realized the truth about the manager’s overreaction, had to pull him away, but he wasn't done. He made sure that the security had collected our ID info and phone numbers from before (should he require his "connections" to threaten our livelihoods), seemingly as a threat to deter us from posting negative feedback. In my opinion, no customer should ever face humiliation, harassment, threats to their livelihood, or trauma while visiting an establishment especially when sharing their feedback. Imagine not feeling safe as you type this review even now as I don't know what they can do with my personal information. I sincerely urge Cavalli Lounge's management to conduct a thorough internal investigation, review CCTV footage to validate my account, and take appropriate action against Hector. Customers should feel safe, respected, and valued when patronizing any business, and our experience at Cavalli Lounge was a shocking violation of that basic expectation.

Worst experience. Certainly this hotel isn’t for Family at all. Went with wife & regretted. 1st - Swimming Pool- Not operational. 2nd - Receptionists not professional at all. 3rd - Toiletries aren’t sufficient. Only 1 towel. 4th - Lifts are accupied by bar customers. This hotel seems like a brothel in Qatar. Don’t recommend specially for couples or family.

Enjoyed 18 days of relaxation at Horizon Manor. Great breakfast and large room. Staff are helpful and friendly, very flexible with check in/check out times. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again and I definitely will be doing that. I loved my time in Doha.

Attention! If you plan to go with your family, don't come to this hotel. I would have liked to put more but unfortunately it is not possible. We arrived and were attended by a very loving receptionist and so far so good. We arrived at the room and noticed that it was a bit neglected, unbearable smell of tobacco, only one towel for two people (a 4 star hotel in Qatar). We went out to walk around the city and look for something for dinner... when we came back the lifts were collapsed, people everywhere... girls with not very nice looks... we found out that there was a disco in the hotel... we were on the 10th floor and the music coming from the 13th floor could be heard as if the party was in our room, people walking all over the hotel, no sense of security... we went to ask to change our room and there was no availability. At 3am the fire alarm went off. We got out of bed to see what had happened but nothing. Then we heard people arguing in the hallway. We told this to the receptionist and she told us that the alarm was due to people smoking and they set off the alarm. I must point out that one of the reception girls the next day moved us to a room on the 7th floor but we still heard noise. We finally decided to leave. It is not a hotel for business people. I do not recommend it. We travel a lot around the world and have stayed in better two star hotels than this one. I should add that the pool was under repair. We thought that by choosing this type of hotel we would have peace of mind but it was not the case. Do not spend your money here.

Nice hotel,looking beautiful and spacious. Interior also very nice. Good lighting system. For families also It will be very since hotel for staying, you can get continental, Arabic and Asian (indian) food in this hotel. So tourists can enjoy the beauty of qatar.

No hot water, carpet's are really dirty, and the biggest irritation was the loud music in the hotel right through the night. There was people partying in the hotel bar that was not even booked in. Would definitely not recommend this hotel for people coming from the airport to get some rest and a hot shower.

Staff is nice and helpful Room service is very good Location is suburb But if you come late at night, midnight time or little after, elevators are packed with bars visitors and nightclub up in the rooftop. That makes it extremely challenging to go to your room as waiting time is no less than 15 minutes. Don’t recommend this for families at all

Had the worst experience in a hotel! The building is undergoing a renovation and they have a temporary access through the parking entrance. The cars and trespassers had to use the same path. I was walking with my wife, and one of the cars were coming out from the parking. There was a security guy was shouting from the bottom of his lungs, just because we walked when there was a car coming out. TERRIBLE!!

Spacious room with all standard amenities. Ask them for a room away from the adjacent construction site for a peaceful sleep. The reception lobby feels like you are at a budget hotel, and the parking drive to the basement is narrow.

I had a wonderful experience at the Horizon Manor Hotel. Every staff member I encountered, from the reception to the cleaning staff were delightful and eager to help..Thank you!.. Lovely room and facilities, reception staff, concierge, security, housekeeping, room service and rose and thistle bar staff were really lovely and very friendly and helpful. Pool area needs a little tlc. Really nice will return.

Twin bed is short size. Better one large. Room cleaning service is not good every day have to call. Even bed sheet and towels not change day yo day. Towel is very bad. Room service quality have to improve more.

Close to Corniche and almost everything at walkable distance.

The check in was very slow even it was not busy at all. When I reached the room I want to change with another room bcz I got Contructions views. They said they couldn’t upgrade my room with city views even I pay for the extra, anyways that’s fine. I heard from outside of the room that housekeeping was really noisy & disturb my sleep, time by time cleaning in anothers room till I didn’t hear that they knock my room or no but they opened my room and that’s make me unconfortable. The WIFI connections it wasn’t working for my laptop as well even I called Receptions, they just gave the new password but it doesn’t worked. At the time during my check out also was very slow. At the end they charged for split coffee on the carpet for 100QR.

Friendly staff and great location. Best view is from women’s bathroom on rooftop. The place is run down and needs some TLC. Carpets are dirty. Hot water is inconsistent. Whole place smells like cigarette smoke. Hear club music from your room all night.

Like other guests' comment, the room was spacious. Funiture in the room in good condition. One minus point was that front desk staff was not hospitable.

I booked this one through discover Qatar as it was fairly priced and location was perfect just close to Souq Waqif and MIA.... I arrived family of 4 , my mother wife and 7 year old son and too our surprise ....the crowd that was going in and out of hotel was horrible and turns out there are 4 clubs in the hotel and 5 onward all sort of low income ppl looking for cheap fun comes to this hotel.... made our stay very uncomfortable...... there moments when we are going in elevator and men making lewd gestures to very oddly dressed woman with no regards that a family is in the lift..... so if u are a bachelor looking for a cheap , decent and nicely located option then go for it..... Its definitely not a place for family..... Rooms were good 4 star standard with all facilities but there was very odd smoke smell throughout the floor we were on.... giving me constant headache .... most probably from all the clubs AC was impacted.... The roof top pool is not meant for guests as when we went there it was all messy and unclean from last night as its a pool lounge from 5 pm till 6 am.... Parking is also a mess ...... not a proper parking half under construction.... Their checkout process was also very long ..... took them 30 minutes to check us out and we were the only one checking out or checking in...... Only good thing about the hotel was the staff was very polite and made their best to make our stay comfortable..... its just the clubs and the illiterate low income crowd with lewd behavior ruined it for us........ Again I would say as a bachelor its ok but as a family not.... or as a bachelor also I am.sure there must be plenty decent options......

Went Thrice to this hotel. Used to take the sea view room and executive lounge. It was really nice stay. Though it’s a bit of old hotel, it’s clean and neat. Staff are good. Receptionalist can smile a little bit to the customers. Price is also affordable.

I have booked a room for 10 days in horizon manor.but they transferred me to another hotel. Hotel team informed me that they dosen’t have availability. The hotel wich i stayed that very bad and they dosen’t enough facilities. I paid for 4 star hotel but I got 3 star. Its cheating from your side

If you have booked a room in this hotel, then only you will get respect. If you are going to the PUB, then while leaving the hotel, you can't even wait in the reception. Security will ask you to move outside like you are beggers. PUBs are inside the hotel or outside???? Management should know this....

Four star hotel. Restaurant was closed when I wanted to use it. Very good location near museums and the historical Souq Waqif.

I really enjoyed my stay here. Rooms are clean, staff is very pleasant and attentive. There are a few bars and clubs that are worth checking out.

Good place to stay, good hospitality. For check in they are taking too much time around one are more than one hour, it's boring.

Stayed more than two months on this hotel. Food is excellent and service is awesome. Since construction is going on all around the hotel for road construction, getting into the hotel may be tricky some time. The hotel got a face-lift. Become more beautiful

Careful about the bill that you pay. I had three beers, and they charged for four. Ofcourse, I overlooked the fact cuz I was kinda tipsy. But it is not proper business etiquette to cheat the customers who patronize the business establishment. The place is also filled with whatever extra personal entertainment that is needed!

Very worst hotel We arrived in the hotel at 11pm. Upon outside the hotel there was a road construction on going and very difficult to enter the hotel. Upon entering the hotel one african guy allowed our car to enter the vicinity and once the car was in the main entrance one valet parker guy came and took our car key and said he will manage to park the car. So we went to have our late dinner in rose and thrittle bar when we finish at 1am we search for our car since we are leaving.. our car was parked in the very side corner of the hotel and a lot of park cars in front of us so we cannot take our car and leave.. parking valet and security inform us that we can leave and take the car by after 3am.. who the hell will wait for few hours in the hotel till you get the car.. problem is the valet staff didnt inform us upon arrival that car will be release after 3am if we know from the start then we wont be givin the car key to their unknowledgeable staff and instead we can park by ourselves somewhere And they are saying that they have inform us from the start... so now valet staff and security is twisting the story and making it our fault.. if they have inform about late release of car then why are we going to trust our car key and car to other people instead we can go park somewhere.. all they know was to keep taking car keys then dump the car somewhere to say that hey have park it allowing people to enter there hotel and spend in there hotel then once people are leaving they will tell you to wait for few hours before you can take your car and leave.. is this a proper doing a hotel must do to their guest.. how unprofessional behavior it is...

The restaurant in mezzanine floor is very nice and well decorated.Its a bar cum reastuarant.The staff name Jeeva Subramani is very good, polite, and very much punctual to her duties and responsibilities. She manage to respond Guest's complaint/order immediately. She has excellent communication skill and logical interpretation and well behaviour while dealing with the guest. Food and beverages are also good.Overall the quality of service is excellent.I like this reastaurant.

Staff attitude in general was not very appreciable. They need to know that its hospitality industry. Many people checked in at same time. Their resource management was very poor as well. Its proximity to Airport and nearby places is plus point of this hotel. Been there on official trip else.

Good hotel a better place to stay hygienic

1. The reception area and entrance is weirdly quiet - it felt like I'm in a horror movie. Suggest to play some music so it wouldn't be so awkward. 2. The rooms are surprisingly large but smelled like smoke. 3. There are few bars/club inside the hotel if that's your thing. 4. Housekeeping and in-room dining is really good. 5. Reception staff are kind.

6 years at qatar 6 years im coming to this place im talking about 14 floor and never ever be treated like that .. security they are so resist and they behavior so bad it's not matching with the hospitality that qatar deserved i need to talk with the person in charge of this place im a manager at hospitality and i will let him know what qatar deserved thanks

did not stay in a room, but the bar on the top floor is a 5 star on service. highly recommend Cavalli bar. food was also excellent. had wings and lamb chop. very delicious and tasty. #Doha #Qatar

I really appreciate to the receptionist lady whose name was Fatima because it was my anniversary and my wife have planned a surprise for me so she chooses this hotel where I have found the best helpful and perfect receptionist who make our anniversary a one level higher great moment and appreciate to the waiters and kitchen staff who brings a surprise cake at exactly 12 am . I am really happy with the waiter who was at my door at 12 am and the Fatima receptionist and kitchen team . Thank you for your effort. You all make our anniversary a great moment.

Awful experience! This hotel has some bars that are very noisy and as my room was somehow near I could not sleep. Cigarette smell in the room, very slow check-in and out. Unhelpful staff, bad overall impression.

Everything is good, but some staff of one top roof bar is arrogant, I don't know if he has some issues you with Indian or something* he literally killed our moment, me and my eife while we dancing. He said not to dance inside club which is pathetic and luisance.

A good hotel, but we went to the bar only. It was good. There is happy hour from 1 pm to 8 pm. And the price is reasonable too. Good service ans atmosphere. Near to souq wakif.
