Great 2 bedrooms apartment... Very bad staff service at the entrance and concierge. People at the entrance including valets security and concierge make it very difficult for the delivery driver to finish and go. I had to come time almost every time to fight with them to receive the delivery and send it to my apartment.

Marriott marquis hotel is my second home and everyone will feel the same who was stayed in the hotel. pleasant spacious rooms, house keeping, very delicious breakfast and opposite to DECC Metro station and connected to city center where you can find what you want. I am highly recommended to Marriott.

It was beautiful and very clean inside. All the staff were really friendly and helpful we asked a lot of questions. We stayed here one night for our layover. It’s down in the city about 20 minutes from the Doha airport and connected to a major mall. It has multiple places to eat inside and there are a few cafes outside from it. Our view of the city, from our room, was breathtaking.

Worst hotel in Qatar. Water leak in the bathroom. You literally can’t sleep at night with the loud music every night. Every morning at 8 am you hear them cleaning the window making very loud noice. Staying in this hotel is a nightmare trust me. The only good thing in the hotel is the breakfast was good.

I really like this hotel. It’s offers a lot for your visit to Doha. It’s only about 20-25 min drive from airport depending on traffic, ideally located next to Metro station (DECC) in heart of business district. You are literally 20-25 mins from Souk markets with just one change on metro. An Uber is cheap too. It offers a variety of in house restaurants, an outside bar area to see city views, a lovely pool area with plunge pools and loungers, spa, gym and executive lounges. There is also a decent room service menu. Breakfast is excellent with a lovely spread. The rooms are excellent with comfortable/bed pillows and great views of the city from most angles. There are some nice amenity kits in room and coffee pod machines. Plenty of sockets for charging. An additional benefit is the attached shopping mall with plenty of stores to wander around. Lastly, staff always seem friendly and attentive and willing to help. A decent hotel. Recommend.

We stayed for 30 days and were sad to leave. The staff were beyond amazing, especially Ruben, Hashani and Jerit at the CrossRoad Kitchen! They really made us felt special.

After check in, nobody took care of us. There were two different towers for rooms we went the wrong one. Nobody said you're the wrong way. The man who was at lobby, didn'nt give any information about staying without asking! I think they could see it was our first time at hotel. There was loud music outside maybe it's coming from hotel's cafe or pool like it's in room. I needed to sleep for going work at 10 o'clock at evening because of my job but it was impossible. Rooms were clean, but it took too much time to be warm, it was 20 degrees and i froze. The breakfast was good.

I love this hotel and excellent service. Exceptional breakfast options. Many thanks for all staff and restaurant staff as well. Highly recommended!

Stayed for quarantine. Service levels were good. Rooms were also fine. But the most ridiculous aspect was that after quarantine guests are escorted out of the same entry where people enter for quarantine. In effect they are exposing safe guests to unsafe ones (as per Qatar laws). It is actually demeaning that they don't let people check out respectfully through the lobby like most quarantine hotels do.

The Marriott Marquis in Doha is one of my favorites hotels. I travel a lot for work at I spend most of my time in hotels. What makes the difference most times is the staff. In particular one of the girls ,Ouissal , she always made sure I got taken care of throughout my whole stay, checking on every little detail. Beside being very caring and professional she gave me a hand on how to visit the major attractions of the city. She deserves most of the credit over all the other staff as she makes me feel heard and valued as a customer. Once again thanks to Ouissal for the dedication and professionalism she shows. Definitely coming back.

Usually used it for business trips. Very clean and nice hotel. Much better then surrounding hotels in same price range. Once was staying overnight on my birthday evening and customer service surprised me with a birthday cake and card. Breakfast options are good. I highly recommend. It's connected to city centre. Many nice restaurant options available witin the hotel. I must've stayed for more than 30 nights over a period of 1 year.

Everything about this hotel was great! The location (next to the metro), the staff was really friendly and helpful, the room was very clean and the view was amazing.. also the hotel has access to a mall.

They went above and beyond for a very mild inconvenience. They went out of there way to help us replace something that was lost, and something that seemed so inconsequential, but there service and care made a huge difference to my daughters visit. The hotel is located in a great location with beautiful city views! Easy access to get around Doha. Great restaurants inside, and connected to a huge mall.

Actually the hotel was not so luxury. İt was a simple hotel and if you are lucky so you can get a nice view. Furthermore it's located in the city centre so location is awesome. And also there is a shopping mall under the hotel so this is an advantage. İt's restaurants is fair enough also.

🍻 Had quite the disappointing experience at Champions. 😔 The staff at the entrance gave me a hard time with my ID verification, and it took them around half an hour to 45 minutes to understand that my ID's print had faded over time due to regular use at work. They even misread the expiration date, showing it as 2021 instead of the actual 2024. Adding to the frustration, their kitchen had already closed, leaving us with nothing to munch on. And to top it off, they rushed our last drinks order within 15-20 minutes of us settling at our table. 🕰️😕 All in all, it seems like Champions is losing its charm and the top-notch service they used to provide. Marriott Marquis, I really hope you step up your game and improve the quality of service. 🏨💪 Thanks for taking note! Cheers! 🍻

I've stayed in many Marriot hotels in my life but this has got to be the best one I've ever stayed in. From my welcome from the fabulous gentleman on reception, I think his name was Maheeb I was provided with a wonderful, warm welcome and looked after from the start. The room I was assigned was fantastic! Beautiful view, furnishings and bathroom! What really stood out in this hitel though was the service. Prior to check out I received a little goodie from the bakery along with a lovely note, I really appreciate seeing thoughtful touches. 5* would definitely recommend and stay here again.

Location and services are superb and fantastic. Rooms are as you would expect Marriott to be. They are first class. But there is a drop ruined every goodies in the hotel which is the street sound. I hear the cars accelerating in the street almost like when the window is open. This ruined my sleep and made me sad of the experience.

Brilliant. I know this sounds strange, but there is such a calm ‘feel’ throughout. I can’t tell you when, but even one of the BA staff we got chatting to said she didn’t know why, but this is her favourite hotel of anywhere she stays ok the world. Grateful to have been to hundreds of lovely hotels, but from the moment I stepped into this one, it just felt like a true home from home. Great rooms great food great service for sure..: but why does it feel so so so homely. No idea. Dare I say, it almost feels… blessed

The service was impeccable. And our original apartment we rented was amazing. Great view attentive staff. However, when we changed to the regular hotel stay, the bed was hard, the pillows were uncomfortable, and our was near the lounge which was noisy. Overall, the apartments are legit, but the rooms are mediocre.

Excellent hotel to stay in. Very respectful staff regardless of what you look like they treated you very well. Place is clean and my room had an Amazing view. Great room decor and high ceiling. The food for room service was amazing. You can almost order whatever you want 😂

Chose the hotel due to its proximity to my meetings while in Doha. Was already sure about the standard to expect, having been a Bonvoy member for many years. This one topped my expectations. From the Algerian front desk associate, who was very helpful during check-in, to the concierge who helped with some inquiry. The room is quite big with a high ceiling, which makes it comfortable. Enough outlets everywhere to plug in all the electronics. Breakfast buffet is very well stocked, catering for different tastes and dietary requirements.

Absolutely smashing place in a great location. Right next to the metro and the city mall is accessible from right inside. Stayed here for a week on holiday in Doha. Service was exceptional. Everyone literally went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. Manish kept our rooms spotless, and Ayoub gave us an excellent goodbye at checkout. Rooms are very spacious with great facilities. The outdoor pool was spotless, and the gym had ample equipment. Breakfast was smashing with plenty of fruit and something different every day. All in all, we had an absolutely lovely stay and can't wait to return.

Hotel is in general good and good located. Better IMO than IHG I stayed last time close to it. But I was annoyed by swimming pool. First for me business traveler it closes too early at 20:00 whereas close to it simpler Marriott Executive Apartments it is until 22. Second I was annoyed by restaurants close to it, I was chased away from some chaise lounges because there was some party at restaurants. Also it is being constantly cleaned with no reason but it just annoys as well. Also next days it was too loud close to swimming pool area due to restaurant, I don’t know how people can speak there Now I am looking around for better options with similar service but better time table and less annoying swimming pool area

It's a great location. But the rooms are very european and flat. Could have some better local tinge and provide more guest friendly service. Housekeeping service is very occasional and not every day. Weird. Except for the location, I did not feel anything outstanding.

I book a room on new year's eve to have a nice dinner and night. But unfortunately the staff from restaurants failed to keep our reservation in aqua lounge. When I call them instead of helping they said I should have paid the table online, next time I should be more careful. In last minute I managed to make a reservation in a restaurant in Hilton and regret that I stayed in Marriott. The room smell like cigarettes even though I choose non smoking room, it was very small and furnished with old furniture and electronics. Staff in reception were not friendly. Crowne Plaza and InterContinental are much better choice.

Loved our experience here! Rooms: 5/5 - so spacious, clean, and beautiful views. Very comfortable! Room service did an amazing job cleaning and keeping the room looking beautiful. Service: 5/5 - everyone is so very accommodating and kind! Special shout out to (apologies is names are spelt wrong): George, Sadhik, Amine, Dila, and Chachi. Food: 5/5 - the breakfast buffet was set up beautifully! My daughter has lots of allergies and this was the first hotel she ate stress free. The pastries, fruit, cheeses, meats, and entrees each have their own stations allowing no cross contamination. There are several other restaurants on site as well! Location: 5/5 - a wonderful area! The hotel itself is connected to a mall making shopping and meals so easy. In the city center, everything is within walking or a 10 minute drive; a lovely area! Had a wonderful experience at this hotel! From the rooms, service, food, and location everything was perfect!

I stayed there for around 2 days and was not happy with the overall experience. Service: At times the service was great but it was often not. They could've been more attentive. Food: Horrible food. Not something you expect from a five star hotel; the presentation was bad; there was no colour and on top of that it tasted really bad. Room: I would give it 2.5 stars. There are many more hotels around that have much better rooms

We visited this hotel in Corona pandemic period, as per rule we were quarantined for 10 days in this hotel. This is our 10th day, we are getting very good service here, with no scope for complaint. The room is quite spacious, with a very nice view from a very large window. Beds provided are absolutely comfortable. Our stay in this hotel was comfortable and luxurious!

Excellent Hotel and well groomed Multi national efficient staff. Cross roads restaurant at 3 rd floor serves tasty cuisine. The staff there , especially one ms Nancy is too good in hospitality and serves with compassion & smile 😊 We enjoyed the swimming pool really well except that the atmosphere is polluted by careless smokers 😱 Why smoke in da swimming pool ; I really ponder 🤔 And no one wears swimming caps 😕 That’s an issue they have to sort out

Incredible Service. I was a bit late for the "Happy Hour" wich is served for Bonvoy Members with access to the Business Lounge. Its open until 8 pm but after my flight was delayed, my suitcase was sent to the wrong terminal and a customs check I could not make it until 8 pm. I was maybe 15 minutes late for Happy Hour but after all this hassle at the airport annoyed and hungry. So, I gave them a call if it is possible to get the "Happy Hour" food in my room even if I am not checked in yet. It was, they did it. All in all Staff is very friendly and try to help you out with anything you might need. Amazing job. Well done!

Went to eat dinner at Crossroads Kitchen and the food is amazing. Surely love their Pad Thai as it tastes lime a fusion of east and west. Service is amazing and staff is friendly. The only complaint I have is the smell of the cigarettes from the adjacent food outlet as this place allows smoking indoors.

I visited this hotel for a service treatment at their Saray Spa. If you are 16+ (US sized), be prepared to take your own spa robe and towels; the sizes they have available are for women who have small frames. The vibe was definitely welcoming, but not having robes or towels that all bodies can use, sends a powerful message. There's also a sauna and steam room, but please note that these services are outside the Spa. One would need to redress, walk to the location where the sauna and steam room are located, then undress again. Needless to say, if you were hoping for a stress free spa day partaking in all the services on offer, then note that given the changing and walking involved, its totally not convenient.

Really good place to stay during the business trip. Rooms are large and clean. Large bathroom and very good service. Also very good choice for breakfast. On the 7th floor there is a swimmingpool and jacuzzi. This hotel is connected with Shopping Mall, so in case you need anything you can easy go there. Great location for city tour visit and metro station just next to.

The dirtiest hotel I’ve ever seen. I’m a titanium Bonvoy member. And was staying at St. Regis looking for longer term accommodations. I was recommended the JW but they did not have a 1 bedroom long term apartment available. From there I was recommended to Marquis as it’s next to JW and supposedly a 5 star. I went on a visit to look at the apartment with the director of sales for rooms I believe she was. And a top guy from JW. As I opened a kitchen drawer, there was a bug which I pointed out. The director picked it up with her finger. I was trying to remain calm & was assured the apartment will be deep cleaned before my arrival. So I went back to St. Regis, informed them I’d be checking out the next day as I thought I’d be moving into my long term accommodations. I was very mistaken. I packed up, took all my belongings with me. Only to come to a filthy apartment. Every single light switch, drawer handle, kitchen knob, door was oily or waxy. And stained. Every single utensil, cup, and plate had food stuck on it. I went to grocery store to buy a sponge & cleaning products. I should not be cleaning my own serviced apartment on my 1st day of arrival! There was even public hair stuck on the guest bathroom toilet lid. I sent an email & video only to be ignored. I was crawling out of my skin. I did not unpack & the next day woke up thinking someone would take responsibility & get back to me. Finally at 1pm I decided after numerous calls to close my suitcases, ask the bellman to take my luggage to lobby, and ask for a refund. It wasn’t until nearly everyone in upper management came to assist me, is when the girl responsible finally shows up. She was the last person. I got my money back & booked on points at another hotel as a temporary solution. This was a huge inconvenience for me as I just could’ve stayed at the St. Regis. Or gone to any other long term stay. I told management that a motel would’ve been cleaner. It was disgusting. Do not stay here.

I am very disappointed by the management of the hotel! I have been a regular customer for a few months as I'm constantly visiting the swimming pool and the restaurant every weekend. Today after spending the day at the swimming pool with friends, as we were leaving and walking to the lobby we forgot to wear our masks, as at the swimming pool you don't have to wear a one. Unfortunately when walking into the lobby Police were there and they gave me a ticket for not wearing one.(They only gave this to me) The management could protect their customers by just kindly reminding them to wear masks inside the lobby. I am very disappointed, and it ruined our experience especially as only I was singled out to receive a ticket!

  • 1/5 Maria L. 1 year ago on Google
Poor customer service ever , when I entrance the hotel lobby I was wearing mask and inside people in the lobby no one was wearing masks and no one didn’t inform that we have to wear mask or have to be aware. After swimming pool , police in the lobby just charged us tickets and I asked help hotel receptions they were just ignoring and make excuse about policys , if it’s hotel lobby , reception and concierge they should be aware of policy to customers. In the HOTEL LOBBY and POLICE ! And Reception concierge service is very disappointed and under level of customer services. Just make it people in to the places and let police do whatever they want to so customers . I will never ever visit marriott again even tho we was regular customers . Poor and unacceptable service

An absolute 5 Star experience at the Marriott Marquis Doha, definitely a property that luxury meets modern.… also It is my pleasure to recognize Zahrae as one exceptional Front Desk representative for Marriott, I had an unanticipated situation that required attention at my arrival check-in at the hotel and Mrs. Zahrae with elegance and a heightened sense of understanding offered me a unprecedented help to achieve a successful resolution. In addition I would like to thank Mehmet for his absolute professionalism and best effort, as he elevated our hospitality experience and his keen attention to every detail of my stay the very best.

Hotel is in downtown Doha connected to a mall so it is convenient. Rooms are spacious but a bit dated . Service was great overall. Very friendly staff, once you get used to the numerous security check and the extra ( and I mean extra!) Security everything else is fine.

They lost two stars because the actual room sucked! The room was super outdated. The shower had mold. The lamp and the blow frier broke. The rest of the hotel, including their spa and lounges are top quality. Staff is super friendly. Location is good. They need to renovate their rooms!

Being a 5 star hotel does not always mean its a luxury hotel. This location is more of a business hotel for visitors of trade conventions or tourists not staying at a resort style hotel. It is still of high quality and a fun place to go for dinners and enjoy the pubs. Its still a good standard but lacks the fine touches you would expect in a luxury hotel.

Great location and access to the mall. The staff are great, except for the front desk who are quite rude (esp. Yuli). If you get a room with main road view, expect not being able to sleep due to crazy road noise. Breakfast service is average, with little variety and understaffed service. Also, gym is tiny and under equiped, depite that they seem to be selling external memberships and PT session to outside guest with the PTs blocking machines for ling time, which made the gym crowded all time and almost unusuable for inhouse guests. They kept herassing me about the credit card pre authoeization every 10 days, like I was going to leave without settling my food bill. I found it quite annoying and below marriott standards.

Went for auhiir budget, varieties are not bad. But they should include in their buffet Mojito as well. My favourite was rice mix with nuts and salmon mix. Moreover with the desert coconut cream cake so delicious. One time visit for ambience if you are going for shuhoor buffet.
