Stayed at this hotel for 2 days in quarantine. It was not that great . Didn't feel like a 5 star hotel at all. Room service staff were polite and helpful. But had to keep calling for everything. Food was not at all great. Breakfast was OK but lunch horrible . Plain white rice with a fried piece of chicken. Salad also all big pieces, chunks...not cut . Didn't get any fruit the 1st day. Called room service and asked for gravy. Thts when they send some korma. The scanning code for the menu was not working. The medical room no. No one was answering , called the reception and of no help. They didn't help in anyway except said keep trying. Would never recommend anyone to this hotel. Also to enter the hotel was from the back door when we reached. Why is it done this way. The other hotels have the entry the normal way.No one to help with the bags . Nothing. The guy who took our details when we reached helped thts it. He had no help from anyone. Also when we were leaving called for some one to help with the bags , one guy came without the trolley to take the luggage . No proper way of doing things. No 5 star standards at all.

I spent four days in this hotel, my experience was bad and I do not recommend it for the following reasons: 1- The furniture is very old 2- The room was not cleaned before I entered 3- My room was changed after I complained about the furniture and cleaning, but the new room had the same notes 4- The extra bed is uncomfortable and ugly 5- The espresso in the coffee bar is free for the first time then you have to pay for each capsule To be honest the staff was very helpful and friendly, but this hotel doesn’t deserve 5 stars at all

my flight was delayed, and arrived at hotel a bit early, but the reception was very friendly and give me opportunities to check in early. The breakfast is very good. Stayed at The Avenue Hotel and already from check-in I could feel a good hospitality and good service. All the way through the staff has been accommodating and always polite and smiling. That made my stay a memorable one. The hotel is close to the metro and traveling around was easy and a good experience. My best recommendation to stay at The Avenue Hotel.

I just want to say how amazing everyone is at this hotel, everyone is so helpful and nice, and nothing is ever to much trouble. I especially wanted to mention the chefs especially Chef Edwin I am Gluten free and he all ways goes above and beyond to help me and gives me good food options. The food it's brilliant. This is my 2nd time here and I will not stay anywhere else now.

We had stayed at the hotel for one week and the overall stay was very comfortable. Starting from the checkin to the checkout all the process and personnel’s we interacted with made our stay amazing. The rooms are spacious and well kept. I would especially like to thank the front desk manager Mr. Mayank who took utmost care throughout the stay.

Staff are very accommodating. Room is also clean and organized. Only one thing that I didn't like is when you order for food or beverages, it takes time before they deliver. When they say 30 minutes, it will take 45mins - 1hr before they deliver your order. Other than that, no more other issues.

The Hotel is brilliant and very good property. Nicely located and 10min walking distance to Mall and many small shops. It has a inbuilt 7eleven grocery shop. And have a Beautiful breakfast with an amazing view. It's located in Doha City. Easy access for Metro and any location in Qatar.

Clean and very calm place to stay. Each and every Staff was very polite and helpful. The Lifeguard at swimming pool was very attentive. Room service cleaning and all was very fantastic. staff was really hardworking.

Good hotel with walking distance to the metro station. Very friendly staff especially Marwan from Algeria in reception. The breakfast buffet was of good quality although few options. The swimming pool was ok, but no sauna or steam room available. In room dining was excellent. The beds were extremely comfortable. Room size was smaller than expected and the view was not that great.

The rooms are getting old. The light switches are confusing at first. My shower had no water pressure- there is a rain style shower, but it just trickles. The door to the shower needed to be repaired, but they just put lots of silicone to hold the side up. There is road noise if you're on the street-side of the building, and there isn't a way to make the window close tighter. The TV had a bad picture which got annoying, so I just used my phone. The elevators are small and only one takes you to the roof. The TcheTche restaurant was ok but it gets very crowded at times and lots of hookas make it smokey. The redeeming qualities are the staff who are very helpful and kind, and the proximity to the metro station. There is also a LuLu near for food and items.

good stay overall. kind personnel, goos service. restaurant open 24x7. only downer is that the safe in the room was not working, and after asking several times was not fixed nor replaced. pool area in the rooftop was a bit abandoned

Very nice receptionists..very polite and nice conversation their welcome adds more pride to the Hotel. They keep the Hotel very nice and clean. Those workers are still raising the pride of the place...

Rooms- Good. Sounds from other rooms is the issue. Other wise Rooms are excellent and very clean. Impressed 👍 Breakfast Buffet -Poor, No Indian Food and felt loss of money.Came out with hunger. Cleanliness - Excellent. Swimming pool - Excellent. Very clean. Over all I can say it's a good stay to chill out for a day...

As unfortunate as it is to have to give this review, we haven’t been impressed with the service or standards of The Avenue hotel. This 3.5 out of 5 star review reflects what we rate the hotel in comparison to the other 5 star hotels in the near region. The 3 main issues were the following 1. Key cards not working. Out of the 4 cards we received, only one successfully got us up the lift and into our room. We raised this on 2 occasions at the concierge however they were unable to rectify this issue. We have had to manage with our one working key card since. 2. Hot water. One of our showers did not have any hot water, once identified, we raised this with the concierge, they apologised but appeared to do nothing about it. We have had cold showers ever since. We weren’t offered any alternatives or compensation for this issue. 3. Cleanliness. The overall cleanliness of the place was average. While our rooms were acceptable, the gym, the windows, the lifts and the foyer were all poorly cleaned. I train at the gym daily, and here there were no gym towels offered, ultimately requiring me to bring my only bath towel to the gym, which I consider a hygiene issue. A 5 star hotel always provides access to gym towels, and are proactive about the general cleanliness of their place. A positive for this hotel is that the staff were all extremely friendly and proactive to help us plan our daily activities in the area. This assistance was very valuable and helped us decide what sightseeing activities we got up to each day, so thank you! Overall, we believe the service and quality of this accommodation did not reflect a true 5-star hotel. Compared to the competitors in the local area, this could compete with 3.5 star hotels, but certainly far from any 5 star hotels.

An absolutely fabulous hotel with fantastic service and very good value for money. Reception was extremely friendly. We got there very early and were allowed to check-in . The room is fantastic: very large comfortable bed, beautiful modern bathroom, great TV, Room service was fabulous, very accommodating. Overall, there is an extremely good service culture in the hotel. Employees are very attentive and always concerned about your well-being. Breakfast was also very good - lots of fruit, vegetables, sweet pastries, fresh bread and warm dishes. Pool also very nice and clean. Very tasty cocktails, drinks and food. We will definitely come again. ♿ Accessable for wheelchairs Dedicated parking for handicapped persons. I would love to recommend this hotel.

Prior to check-in, the reviews and ratings were above average so I gave it a try. Parking attendant wasn't around, so I had to ask my wife to inquire at the reception. Valet attendant came and he parked my SUV no more then ten feet away, literally just on the corner. Reception is quite nice and professional. Unfortunately, the room lacks amenities like room slippers, dental kit, bath robes... which were provided eventually after a phone call to the reception. The following day, I woke up in the morning without electricity. After three hours with no electricity, I decided to check-out. Many guests were moaning at the reception as they could not even charge their mobiles.

Hello, I have been staying here for about two and a half months. The hotel is in a nice place in terms of location, there is no problem in transportation. Taxi services close to the metro serve without any problems. When it comes to the hotel, the staff is friendly, devoted and hard-working, they are trying to do their best. I would like to thank Ms. Raksha and other staff at the reception especially. The only thing I can criticize is that there are very few cheese varieties at breakfast. I would recommend that they increase this variety and add it to the sausage and pastrami varieties.

It is not 5 star hotel old rooms, very small choice at dinner, no hot water in the shower, dirty swimming pool and space near pool. breakfast is good 👍

4 times I tried to enquire about a 1am checkin. Not an early check in, but a late check in, on the night of my booking. The hotel staff somehow couldn't understand that their checkin time is shown at 1500-0000, however my flight arrives at 23.45. mm, so I would only arrive after midnight on the night of my booking. Ridiculuous.

This hotel is located near a highway so you will get disturbed by the noise from the traffic. We complained first day and asked for a more quiet room and they gave us a much bigger room, not as noisy. We appreciated that! The hotels is not five stars, more like four stars but for the price, you can't complain! We got a super cheap deal with breakfast and lunch included so it's very good value for money! The rooms are nice, but a little old and wear down. You get free water bottles everyday which is a plus! They give you schampo /conditioner every day. Cleaning ok, not more, the whole hotel could need a renovation and deep cleaning. The roof top pool area is nice but little old as well, nice view. They have pool towels you can borrow. Gym is very small but you can get a proper workout. Breakfast buffet is very good, they have bread, pastry's, eggs, fruits and some food. You can order omelet, pancakes and eggs every day, and the man making them is really good at it! They have good cappuccino and café latte as well. We ate lunch here every day and dinner out. The lunch buffet is good enough, sometimes little boring but they change food every day and there's several alternatives. Also very good fruits. There's nothing to complain about the food here, for this price it is very good! The service in this hotel is very good, they are super service minded and try to do everything to make you feel satisfied! They have a tiny seven eleven in the hotel which has super affordable prices for coca cola, ice cream and so on. We thought about staying in the Hilton or Sheraton hotels, but why pay several hundred dollars more for just a little more luxury?! No we rather spend that money on dinners at different Restaurants, and shopping and exploring Doha. We had a week in Doha and that's what you need if you want to be able to see the "must see" here. We love Doha and we will definitely come back. Absolutely recommend this hotel! Don't worry about the distances here, wherever you stay, you'll have to take a taxi or go by car. So there's no perfect location for hotels. If you want to explore Doha, you will need to go by car /taxi everywhere because the distances are so big. Anyway, taxi is the only thing cheap here so it's doesn't bother you! 😁👍

We booked the holiday to the luxurious qatar doha and to the so called 5 star Avenue hotel. Unfortunately the hotel was everytging else but a 5 star luxurious hotel. The room are very bad and minimalist, for example the floors make so much cracking noise the you would think you are in a ghost house. The bathroom door dint even close and the main room door bearly closes as well. The breakfast is very limited and doesn’t even have hot coffe that i think is not too much to ask. The pool area is a disaster and nothing like in the fotos. All of the pooal area chairs are old and broken and the pool is all so brken and old. The area is very dirty and even looks abandoned. In reality this hotel bearly full fills 2 star criteria. Very disappointed because I expected much more from a 5 star hotel in qatar.

Hotel is in good area, it is close to everywhere. Foods are delicious, i apreciate the cooks. Rooms are always clean thanks to hard working housekeeping. Espcially thanks to Sarada. She was keeping my room 305 always clean. All personnel kind and smiling. The only place that needs attention is pool area. Other then that hotel is very nice and comfy.

It was feeling very nice staying in The Avenue. Since I don't mostly eat non-veg but I could get Veg also. Staff was very co-operative. Overall the experience was luxurious and very nice.

Room was comfortable, peaceful as well. I was on a day quarantine, waited long for check inn. As the main gate and reception were not using for quarantine guest, a security guard Martin was doing all job. Food was upto mark for me, in excess even, timely delivered, i took no other service from staff, inside room was everything in place.

If there is a anything lesser than a one star this hotel deserves it. My spouse and child are right now staying in the hotel in room number 213. They checked in yesterday (10Apr) in the afternoon. No lunch was provided and i had to order from talabat thinking that the check-in was late. Later was waiting for dinner and nothing was provided! Ordered from outside too. Such a horrendous service! She is with a kid of 4 years and the hotel is refusing to provide her the lunch today as well. Even though it has been paid for upfront. This isn't a 5 star hotel. My last 2 quarantine i stayed at 3 star hotels and service was top notch. This is the worst nightmare to book for quarantine or your holiday.

Dear all.. It’s not 5star hotel. I think it’s just 0.5 star hotel. And if you feel to go to bathroom, you should carry your mobile phone.. because may be your bathroom door will be stuck. That time you can watch movies or you can contact to reception. But you should call before watching movie. Then they will come when your movie on climax time😄 And you should save talabat contact number. If you need good food.

Hotel is nice on appearance but: 1. Bar / breakfast a/c set so low you need hat, scarf and gloves to stay inside. 2. Room thermostat seems to have a mind of its own either freezing or stale air. 3. 2 days in a row no kne to great, 5 mjns no one comes out. 4. Breakfast is limited, not uffet style (maybe due to covid regulations? Not sure) and half of contents were cold. Only the eggs (overcooked- not asked how I wanted them) and hash browns were hot, rest not even warm, cold. Disappointing at best.

My wife and children stayed at this hotel and are deeply disappointed. They weren't provided with towels or toiletries, and after speaking to the manager no response was given. We booked a room for 3 people and received only a single queen sized bed and the smallest room in the inventory. The food was disgusting, bland, and dry. To make matters worse furniture is broken. Still wondering how this hotel is so called 5 star.

I book the hotel quratine in morning 10 clk...I reached sharply in 9.30 I was very tire in flight travel but there's no response..Room was given only in the evening 6 pm...I never see hotel response that much ...

I use to stay here since 2020 as part of my work and their services is getting better and better, rooms are neat and clean..very good WiFi , Room service and housekeeping is excellent and also very cooperative reception staff...Now after covid complimentary breakfast is good.. Rooftop swimming pool is awesome...

Highly not recommended, had a bad experience for stay, no service, very discourteous staff, specially front desk staff, not paying attention to customer complain. Food quality was very bad.
