I was quarantined in this hotel for 2 days when I went to Qatar for job. I liked the service of this hotel and the food was also good. The room I stayed in was plush and royal look which I loved. The bed was very comfortable. The view outside the window was very nice, nice and high-rise buildings were visible from it, which I found very attractive. I had tea and coffee facilities in this room. But I didn't like one thing in my room which was that there was no Indian toilet seat in the attached washroom because i don't feel comfortable in english toilet seat. Apart from English toilet seat, hotel management should also arrange Indian toilet seat in the washrooms.

Saraya corniche I'm not too sure if its a 5 star hotel however most of thee website show its a 5 star. This hotel is anything other worse than a 2 star hotel. I can for sure relate it to a guest house. The hotel ambiance, room, customer service, food, reception and staff are atrocious and dirty. The hotel is just trying to extract money from the customers even going down to have a physical fight with the customer to get a peanut amount. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone. Staying on the roadside will be better than staying in this hotel. Nightmare experience I had with these people.

I advice everyone not to select that hotel for quarantine. My experience: 1. We reached hotel at 12:45 PM and the staff kept us waiting till 4:15 PM in the hall with no expected timeline and kept telling us that we are going to get the room soon. 2. The TV isn't even smart with only Arabic channels option. 3. Most of the sockets aren't working. 4. Phones receiver isn't working. 5. One of the reason why we selected that hotel was the view.. apparently the windows are never cleaned with thick layer of dust outside 😔 6. The carpet had numerious filthy spots and there was no prayer mat. 7. Food is horrible with very limited options. 8. The good reviews you see downwards seems fake and must be posted by the staff of hotel. The rooms are overall not that bad but the service of the hotel make them worst. Atleast they can do the cleaning properly.

For a hotel that masquerades as a five star, it is a two or three star hotel at best. Broken cupboards, chipped walls, low quality furniture, unhelpful staff and a lift that you have to wait for for ages. I walked in on a hot July day, and even though there were at least 2 other staff members free, they made me wait in line to check in. The heat was unreal even as I stood sweating in the reception. Well, at least the bell boy handed me a bottle of cold water. He was such a wonderful guy. The only staff member there who offered 5 star service was him and another Indian lady at the reception. They were hospitable. Upon my turn, the lady who checked me in was exceptionally difficult, and tried her best not to accommodate to my requests. Going upstairs was a nightmare because there was only one lift which I could use. Waiting for many minutes at a time was difficult. The interior of the room was unfortunately extremely shabby. I will upload photos to the review to show this. Not 5 star in any way shape or form. Tip: Better to choose from other hotels, because they offer similar prices and even lower star category hotels are much better.

Booked this place since it was supposed to have a good view, but the window as shown in the picture are dusty and haven't been clean in weeks and kills the view. The room is spacious with old 90s vibe and might not have had any update in last 10-15 years or so. The staff is grumpy and gets hyper for any routine issue seems untrained for hospitality business. The food is fine, just bit on colder side since it's quarantine hotel and food is packed in disposable containers.

I stayed at Saraya Corniche Hotel for the mandatory 5-day quarantine (May 20-25) Worst hotel experience by far! Definitely shouldn’t be rated as a 5 star hotel (doesn’t even deserve a 3 star rating). Air conditioning doesn’t work. It’s just a (very loud) fan that lets out hot air into the room (the daily temperature in Doha is reaching mid-40s Celsius). Had trouble falling asleep because the room is very hot, and the AC fan is very loud. Reported it twice, nothing done to fix. Fridge doesn’t cool properly. Also reported (3 times). Front Desk says “they’ll send maintenance right away” but they never showed up. Water doesn’t heat properly in the shower, and the shower head doesn’t work properly. Showered in cold water for 5 days. Food options are limited, and the food’s not good to begin with! I ended up having to order groceries, most of which went bad because of the fridge not working properly (see above) Room service almost never answers, or the line is always busy. Which is a problem because you have limited time to place quarantine meal orders. Found used and broken cutlery (plastic knives and forks) under the bed. Also found a date palm and other small bits of food, and saw a couple of ants around them. Upon arriving on the first day, there were no towels at all in the whole room (or robes or anything like that; not even small towels for hands/face). Also, no q-tips and other bathroom amenities. All drawers, cupboards and closets need fixing. They look like they’re about to fall apart, not to mention the ones that already do. Wifi and hotel phone cut off for the better part of a day (Sunday 22nd). Was literally isolated from the outside world. Couldn’t connect to internet (I had work to do online), and couldn’t reach front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, or any other representative of the hotel. After all the calls and complaints, it wasn’t until day 4 (out of 5) that I spoke to the manager directly. He ended up moving me to another room for the last night. Which was better, but not by that much. You’d be more comfortable if you sleep on the sidewalk. Wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

ياعرب ويا أزواج أقسم بالله الفندق زبالة بكل ماتعنيه الكلمة نصيحة لا تجرب وتخسر فلوسك DO NOT stay at this hotel until you are OK with bad smell, shabby & worn out furniture, dirty carpet with stains all over the place!!! Please DO NOT be fooled with their posted pictures here, I’m dead serious about my review. I booked 5 nights (non refundable) and slept 1 night then booked another REAL 5-star hotel, SARAYA hotel is “FAKE 5-STAR HOTEL” I swear to god they deserve 1 or 2 stars maximum. FOR The Hotel who’s replying on this review: Can I Have my money back? You always reply on low rating reviews but nothing changes.

I stayed there for 2 days quarantine and utterly regretted for choosing this hotel. Although it was mentioned it’s a 5 star hotel, I strongly doubt whether it will qualify for a 3 star hotel. Food, room service, housekeeping, everything were worst I ever experienced in a hotel. They called us at 4.15 AM in the morning to checkout the hotel, despite telling them that we have a newborn with us.

The ‘Welcome Home’ Quarantine Package at this hotel is absolutely dreadful and I would strongly recommend not booking here. I had to enter via the basement fire exit and wait over an hour to be checked in, my PCR was meant to be on the day after my arrival but it transpired they didn’t have me in their records to have one, the food is inedible (& honestly I’m not fussy!), no drinks were included except water, the room was freezing, there was no hot water and the staff are unhelpful. In addition, the telephone receiver doesn’t work, the WiFi doesn’t work, the TV has no channels except Arabic news, I wasn’t given any bath towels and I found an empty water bottle from the previous guest in the bed! It has been the worst hotel experience in over 40 years of travel!

I booked for 3 nights. First night was real nightmare. First day My room number was 3002. No sleep until 2 am due to high music sound from second floor night club. Reception staff were not ready to change my room even after complaining many times . They told after 2 am there will be no sound 😇. Next day morning I went to reception and told them if you’re not ready to change my room to a calm floor , I will sleep on the reception sofa next to them.otherwise return money. Luckily they shifted me to 9th floor and that was much better . I could sleep 🤗rest of may stay. I will never select this hotel again.

Written in invoice as sp drinking water, but we couldn’t find any sp😹🙏. Please guys, try to keep free water in jugs for the buffet customers, they were coming for promotion price. The worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. I didn’t even book it by choice. I was forced to do so at the airport after they have cancelled my booking because the hotel I booked was not one of the quarantine hotels in 2021. I was expecting a “5” star hotel, but the sheets were dirty, the decor is old, the room is small and the bathrooms were dirty and had hair all over the sink and bathtub. The hotel decor is so old, and it didn’t have a “corniche” view. For a quarantine hotel all I wanted was cleanliness and sterilization, I’m not asking for fancy stuff, but I was afraid to catch covid because of how dirty the hotel was.

Located at very good location of doha, basically lots of main attractions are in walking distance. Rooms are spacious but need some renovations. For the price deal we got ut was perfect, however i doubt on 5 star rating of hotel. Anyways staff is very friendly and courteous. They always helped us whenever we needed them from security to front desk, i want to thank you all. Definitely recommend it . We were family of 3 with a infant.

Strong disappointment with the facility offered. Room smaller than expected and dirtier than expected from a 2 star hotel. Carpet and ceiling both have dirty marks as visible in pictures. Sink is horribly dirty and corners of room dusty. One good thing was the view from the room but yet again the dirty glass pane made the whole scenery blurry. Food service was good which was a surprise keeping in mind all the other disappointing things. If you want to stay in a cleaner habitat then avoid but if you're staying here on the face value of a 5 star hotel then waste your time and money. Still thanks to good customer service by all the staff. FYI we stayed in the 10th floor

Rooms was clean Service was good Location was also good Worst part was the lift access. Total one lift was in working condition and it took around 40 minutes to have some space in lift to move from B2 to ground floor. Total mess was bcoz of bars on different floors, huge crowd was there everyone was using hotel lift as well specially on weekend ands and families were suffering

I was traveling to Qatar with my family. I decided to stay in this hotel after seeing the reviews on booking sites. It was absolutely one of my best decisions that have been taken by me in my life. We really enjoyed our stay. Luxurious hotel with complete 5 star facilities. We loved it and will stay in here again. I recommend this hotel.

Very good hotel Location was excellent, by M115 bus beside the hotel, you can access to National Museum Metro station Closest hotel to Al Corniche St. Very clean and beautiful hotel My room view was wonderful, thanks from Georgie It has jacuzzi, swimming pool, and kid swimming pool Also kids play room available It has two restaurants It has two disco on level 2 and 14, try to gets room from level 4 up to 12 due to noise in Thursday nights It has Very very helpful, supportive and kind staff, (My special thanks to Georgie, Naflan and Lil) I am very sensitive about any hotel, and read some previous comments about this hotel, but I don’t accept low rate comments about this hotel honesty

The location is good but bad at the same time. It has a lot of construction going on around and has very congested lanes. However if you're lucky to have an ocean view room, it can may very well make your stay worth the while.

How this is rated as a 5 star hotel we will never know! Between the rude staff, the smokey smell, the non stop noise, the lack of house keeping, and the 400 dollar per night price it was the worst experience ever! Highly unrecommended! You can literally go just about anywhere and get better treatment for a fraction of the price.

I had went for dinner with my friends in their Layaly restaurant. The food is worst. I have never had this bad experience in any restaurant. I went for a buffet but not even a single food was good. Some items they didn't mention the proper name. Spagetti had beef in it but was not mentioned. Worst restaurant. Don't visit their restaurant.

It was a great experience. For the first time..in a quarantine stay ..a hotel manager took time to enquire.."how are you and how may we help you better"...I have stayed in 4 quarantine hotels before..but ..this was the best..not to forget the tastefully done room interiors and the Doha skyline and the MIA park and Corniche for the window gaze.. perfect for a peaceful unwinding. Thanks .

During my stay while in quarantine the chekin was delayed asked to wait for more than an hour at 11pm. Wen chekin the room there was no towel wen asked ...reply was not available with room service Smelly n dirty carpet, ..stinky smell of human body odour on sofa chair..yakk. asked for some room freshener which was also not given. The room was not cleaned, not sanitised I believe.. Unpleasant  Arabic reception...rude face. Ofcourse least expected. Quality of food worst. I wonder how this is stamped as 5 star in the website, its not even 2star. Cannot expect this kind of low standard for leisure or qurantine. I read the reviews and selected the hotel.  But l was wrong wen experience its far much worst... I highly not recommend this hotel.

Overall the hotel facilities were good. My room was quite good, facing to Doha corniche. So I was able to see the sea view inside the room. Even though the hotel building is quite old but they still keep maintaining it. The front desk staff was nice and and very well-informed. But unfortunately the shower and bathroom need to be considered. Looks like the shower needs to be repaired because there is a slight leak and it causes puddles on the floor. Food was alright. I hope they are able to fix the shower and do some improvements, especially their facilities.

I came here on a Tuesday eve with friends wanted somewhere to chill away from home and I don’t regret not a single thing. I’m not a hotel person but Saraya is just something else. The staff are very professional and deal with matters in ways that are just out of this world,M.r Ruwan and the rest of the team thanks for making it a memorable one,I’ll definitely come back. I highly recommend ❤️ , I would give a 10 star coz a 5 is not something they deserve

Mixed Buffet Experience - Worth it on Mondays, but beware of the price and offerings on other days I recently visited the buffet at Layaly Saraya, and my overall experience with the food and ambiance was average. Here's a breakdown of my observations: Experience and Food: The overall experience and food quality were just average, not exceptional. Variety and Value: The buffet offered a good selection of items, but I must admit, it didn't seem worth the QAR 59 price tag. Water and Beverage Pricing: I was taken aback by the exorbitant charges for a small water bottle (QAR 15) and beverages like Pepsi (QAR 17ish). Guests should be informed about these prices upfront, as it's common to assume water is free and included in the buffet. Chicken Dishes: Unfortunately, the chicken dishes were below par and quite tough to chew. Beef and Fish Dishes: On the brighter side, the beef and fish dishes were a delightful surprise and cooked to perfection. Soup and Bread Selection: The soup selection was disappointing, and there were very few options for bread. Spreads: On a positive note, the buffet did offer a good platter of spreads, including Hummus, which was enjoyable. Desserts: Each dessert fell below expectations, and what's worse is they didn't refill the desserts that ran out, replacing them with less satisfactory alternatives. In conclusion, I would recommend going to Layaly Saraya on Mondays when they offer a reasonable deal of QAR 59 for two people. However, on other days with a price of QAR 49 for one person, I believe the overall food quality and variety may not be up to par. Keep in mind the extra charges for water and beverages, which can add up quickly and impact the overall dining experience. Ultimately, it boils down to personal preference and budget, but I hope this review helps you make an informed decision about your visit to Layaly Saraya. Happy dining!

Worst management, Irresponsible authorities. Third parties playing between management and customers. Some time customers including family insisted to go out. Even they charging high amount as result of third party involvement. Not giving receipts for receiving amount. Finally they will argue you didn’t pay for room. Will be reported to Municipality Department

Far from 5 star: the staff were pleasant and helpful, but the bathroom was cramped and leaking water. The breakfast was also a major letdown: most of the selections were store bought and flavourless. I wouldn't waste your money purchasing breakfast, go down to the marketplace, and eat a real breakfast for the same price. The location in itself is quite good, but during the evening, you'll witness some unpleasant behaviour in the carpark opposite the hotel..... seedy to say the least. In summary: I wouldn't stay here again considering I can book an over better hotel within walks distance for the same price.

Location very close to the corniche and other sites (walking distance). Breakfast buffet was amazing Room was spacious but not modern with a kitchenette Gym, sauna, jacuzzi, steam room and pools were all functioning and well maintained Room service was on point, they would clean the room every day without a miss. Receptionist Nafal was a gentleman Car parking was ample with excellent valet parking. 2 night clubs in the hotel floor 2 & 12, can be very loud in the night but after a couple of days we got used to the loud music and slept right through it, it helped we were on the 7th floor. Dont go into the lobby after 11pm, women dressed inappropriately for clubbing 🤦🏽‍♂️ especially if you got a family with you.

We had a terrible experienced that i cannot forget checking-in in this hotel. First, is the service of the front which is guy that i cannot remember his name, i ask to put us to the room with city view since we book for it but he refused and put us in the back building where when we open the window curtain we only see the other building that is very close to it. 2nd, checking-out my car got big scratch in B2 parking way because of very narrow way that i thought is exit because of the arrow that i follow. Even it is not the exit, it is very narrow for the car and when i informed the front desk, the guy was like insulting me with his smile and when they check my car they just say sorry without offering me anything. Very rude service specially the guy who book us. We checked-in last Dec. 7 around 4pm so look whose that guy on duty that time doing the bookings of the customers and alarm him with his behavior. I will not come back to this hotel or even recommend to my friends.

Great Hotel, Room was super nice and corniche view was beautiful. I was staying here for a short time and i asked for a microwave to heat up dinner (they only give it to rooms for longer stays apparently) and they refused to give me one for the night or even let me bring my food to the microwave and heat it up. Guess i’ll be eating cold dinner tonight it seems

For the purpose of 2 days quarantine I checked in to this hotel yesterday (19 Oct 2021). The moment I entered the room, there was a fly on my bed and the smell of the room was awful. And also blanket was toned.Long hair was found on top of the toilet bin seat. I had to sanitize all over the room by my self and I was too tired to call and complaint to the reception. I ordered lunch and dinner and breakfast so far and food was horrible. Last night dinner I ordered came without the Arabic bread as mentioned in the set menu. And I had to call the room service and ask for it. And the room service personal was in the phone asked me “are you sure you didn’t get Arabic bread” and came to an argument with me. Very unprofessional staff and never recommend this hotel to anyone. Not worth for the money I paid.

I stayed here during the worldcup, after being in another (4 stars) hotel. Saraya was way better. The service was ver good, everyone was very helpful, specially Mr Ali, room service manager, he made sure we received a good treatment. The gym is brand new, everything is in good condition and clean. Wifi is very good too. The swimming pool is very small and only indoor. And the music from the 14th floor js very loud.

We booked 3 rooms. Really good location and staff service however the hotel is definitely not 5star. I'd say the quality and condition of the rooms are 3 star. Room sizes are big however rooms are mouldy and bathrooms are in a real poor state, with marks and dirt in. Also currently they do not serve breakfast as the restaurant is having a renovation.

When you walk into the hotel, it shows that it is a 5 star but definitely is not. There is a lingering smoke smell in the room. Bathroom is so small, the door doesn't even open half way. My husband couldn't even stand straight while showering as the shower head was so low. The corridors smell like you are in a public bathroom. Booked and paid to stay 3 nights but checked out after 1 night as our stay was horrible. The receptionist did not even ask why we were checking out so suddenly.

A hotel more like a nightclub. There’s so much noise in this place till 1am. Good luck sleeping. No matter what floor you hear trash. According to taxi drivers, this hotel is a place where bad women go, to meet men. Which kinda made sense why the card keys were only needed to get to floors during the day, and not at night. There was drunk people in elevator. The staff was slow to check out. The toilet was small so small. Area was ok.

The hotel is good but the room service is bad they take long time to answer and to bring what we ask for. The best receptionist who helped us is Shigin he’s so kind and helpful. The restaurant was so good the food was so delicious👍🏻

I really love the interior of our room Persian themed and well cleaned. It has a perfect spot for the city scenery view. Specially the friendly and accommodating staff. Special thanks to Ms. Sahara for choosing a perfect suite to celebrate my birthday. As well as Ms. Georgie for a smooth check out. Thank you also for Mr. Pala for assisting our luggages very well. We will have our staycation again for sure.
