Absolutely the worst place you can consider for a wedding venue. As the married couple, you'd expect top teir treatment to facilitate your important day. Not in this hotel, here policy is above your comfort and happiness. If you're looking for a night filled with non-apologetic wedding planners/organizers, you're definitely in the right place. Here's our breif but disappointing encouter. My best friend was the groom, we arrived at the wedding hall entrance to only be stopped by Clament ( the security guard) who was physically blocking us from entering. At first we understood his position to not allow us in as its a womens wedding only. But when we explained that this fine gentleman in the elegant burgendy tuxedo was in fact the groom, Clament became even more insistent that we are not allowed to enter. We asked for him to call in and seek permission as this is clearly the gate that leads to the wedding hall "it literally said wedding hall entrance". He responded with a disgruntled agreement to call someone. Obviously that someone would be a supervisor of some sort that would talk sense into Clament. Suprise suprise, Clement was supported in his stance and became even more confident in his decision " We Shall Not Pass". So to save time, we rushed back into our cars and drove aroud the hotel to the main lobby entrance as he was so "politely" forcing to do so. We get in and find that the lobby entrance and hall entrance are actually connected by one corridor. ONE CORRIDOR was Clements domain and he took it very seriously. But I digress, we put the groom first and walked in the hall. Did our duty as best men and left him to enjoy the rest of the night. We walked out to go to the reception to complain about the encouter to only find the security manger himself (Feyz) walking towards us. So a confrontation is to be had. When we explained, expecting an understanding from Feyz, we were pleasantly surprised by his response. To sum it up, there was a reason Clement was so comfortable treating guests the way he did. The reason was clearly Fayz and a serious issue with management and protocols. Fayz absolutely detirmened to not apologize once during his rant to convince us that we were wrong to go through door clearly marked "wedding hall entrance" and that we should've instinctively went to the hotel lobby! Honestly I tip my hat to him. Hospitality at its finest. Not a single apology. So the next logical step is to talk to the manager on duty, correct. So get this, we go to the reception desk and ask for the person in charge, the receptionist picks up the phone and calls Fayz?! I overheard his name and said that we've already spoke to him and we didn't get anywhere. So he hangs up. I ask again who is in charge and he says " its actually me" with a Chuckle. He was trying to avoid the situation !!! I actually laughed. Lucky for him we got interrupted by the banquet manager herself Sana that was overseeing the wedding. AKA the planner. Sana walked to us with no other than Fayz so obviously he made his case. She politely asks what was the problem whislt obviously knowing exactly what the problem is " I hate it when they do that". We go through it again. She was incredible. She used my own culture against me!! Its a womens wedding you cant walk in from there. I pleed you all to go see the difference between the two entrances! You can literally so both if you stand in the corridor. That cultural logic does not apply if you have women visible from both entrances!! Sana wouldn't even stop to understand our point. She vehemently defended her policies and basically told us to give it up. No apologies here. Didnt acknowledge that there was no one from the planning team ready to recive us, or anyone outside informed of our presence. Its done. If you asked me what I wanted from a place that lives on hosting people and making their stay special, is to feel special. You know what? I dont want special status. I just wanted a simple sorry But its clear now why Clement acted the way he did. The entire management chain is broken.

You have to try the Rotana hotel. The experience will leave you speechless, am talking about 7star service from the staff of different races and the food😳😳😳 mouth watering... Diversity is well observed and that's something worth a shout out nowadays. Would recommend anyone rich or poor to try this hotel as a gateway.

we were welcomed by hotel staff Ola, the first time we came across a staff who was full of smiles.. Even before we could enter the hotel he told us about the amazing offers different restaurants and the events at the hotel... He is definitely a reason for me and my family to come back to the hotel.. A delight to meet him...

The furniture of the rooms is old, the elevator smells bad, the corridors as well, the coffee machine is not clean, the room service is slow, the baggage handler is two hours late, and the cleaning lady is very late in the morning and she had to clean while I was in the room even though I booked the room in the businessmen lounge!! The food is cold, the bread is hard and the utensils are not clean .. I can't believe I paid 1200 riyals for this hotel that deserves 4 stars no more

The Rotana City Centre is our home in Doha. We love the easy access to the City Centre Mall and all the amenities offered at the Rotana. We especially appreciate how kind all of the staff are. They go out of their way to make us feel at home and comfortable. Special thanks to the cleaning staff who clean our apartment -- Miss Passey is wonderful and always does a great job! The apartment always feels so good when she is done cleaning. Thank you so much!

One of the best hotels that I ever stayed. Location wise was perfect, centrally located with easy access to city centre mall and also walking distance to metro. Spent our New Year with Hubby and Son at the City Center Rotana Hotel , and I couldn't be happier with our choice! I was looking to feel a bit pampered and rejuvenated, and the Rotana hotel was perfect. The staff were all so very kind - especially nimfa ! Room service, the club lounge,the poolside and the breakfast & dinner buffet all exceeded my expectations. I'm already looking forward to returning!

Today I came from India and it was a long journey, we have to do 2 days quarantine and booking has to be made well in advance like 10 days before or so , however they knew it that ppl are coming from long flights and timing is mentioned in the form along with the booking still we had to wait for 3 hrs for the room . We are around 15 ppl waiting for the room since morning and no communication is ther. No one ask for water n food or hot beverages or anything . Went I asked them how long it gonna take they said 3-4 hrs 😳 as rooms are not available and check out time is 12 ….for what .I asked them atleast giv us food n water and then they provided us . It’s a 5 star property and room rent is not cheap . We had to wait in the lobby , it’s not our duty to ask you for things when u know we are waiting for 3 hrs bcoz of you . If you don’t have rooms available , don’t take booking . Super disappointed, I am also working in hospitality industry but never seen something like this before . Old man around the age of 80 had to wait for such a long time . I need the answer from the management and resolve the issue asap.

They are 5 star but they don’t have nice service specially in the staff In the pool she don’t know how to give a good service and if u want some YouTube or something they don’t have in television! u pay so much they give so small room to me no view as my requested even I call the staff before my check in they say we do everything but after I reach nothing and they say we will prepare a nice room but nothing happen!lafter I reach they give small room and no view I was so dissapointed can’t recommended this hotel so bad experience never again.

Ms. Roshani & Ms. Maria have been an excellent help and professionally very efficient. We live in 4302 and they have been regular and diligent in their work. We wish them the very best and would recommend assigning them higher responsibilities as well.

One of the best hotels in Doha. Everything was more than expected. Specially one of the valet parking staff “Allen” he was very professional and friendly. Just they need to watch the housekeeping team and encourage them to work harder as the other teams do.

Hotel Rotana has been excellent - upon arrival, we were greeted by our valet Muneer - he was so helpful in taking our luggage and making us feel welcome. Once stepping out of our transfer we were then looked after by a gentleman called Ola - during my stay Ola has been excellent in providing me info about the hotel and about Doha - I would be lost without him! I would seriously recommend staying in Hotel Rotana and if you do stay, say hi to Ola!

My husband and I chose a new year's eve staycation over traveling outside of Qatar this year (to save money). After a lot of shopping, we chose to book at City Centre Rotana. Long story, short: this hotel is a lovely place and is well worth a stay. Room: we went ahead and booked the largest room available with access to the Club Rotana Lounge (which is awesome, by the way). Our room was incredible. It had a dining space, a living room space with two 3-seater couches and a desk, a separate bedroom with a door, and two TVs within the suite. It was a corner room, so we had windows will full view of the Corniche and the bay. We could not only see Hotel Park (the Corniche was a few minutes walk from our hotel), but also Old Port, so we could watch the big cruise ships from our hotel room. The room was clean and the facilities were good. Shower was lovely (water pressure, temp were good). My only small fussy moment was with the coffee. Be prepared to pay 10 QAR per Nespresso capsule if you want to use the machine they give you. For reference, it costs no more than 30 QAR (usually a lot less) to buy 10 capsules. The mini-bar menu is a complete scam. Club Rotana Lounge: if you have the choice, absolutely get a room with lounge access! Incredibly quiet breakfast, wonderful views, free afternoon tea, and free canapes and drinks (alcoholic if you are inclined) for guests. It rocked. Service: overall, we had really great service. There were hiccups, but they were compensated. Check-in was not on time. The room wasn't cleaned on time, and then there was some kind of maintenance issue with the room itself. I was glad that the hotel didn't just throw us into a non-functioning room, so I appreciated that, but we did end up in our room over an hour after our declared check-in time. Although there was a delay, we were given early access to the Club Rotana Lounge to relax while they figured out our room issue, so the staff did take care of us. We also attempted to schedule a single cleaning in our 4 days (we didn't need the service every day). The cleaning staff didn't respect the time we reserved, so that was disappointing. They did show up about 3 hours late. Luckily, we had that lounge access, so we just went to the lounge and let them get on with the cleaning. Dining: we really enjoyed the NYE dinner at Teatro, on the second floor. The food was really nice, and again, great service. Location: we are Doha residents, so we know Doha pretty darned well. This location is superb. You've got direct access to the Corniche and Hotel Park. If you hop on a scooter, you can ride it around the Corniche and access Al Bidda Park, MIA Park, Msheireb, Souq Waqif, Old Port...it's awesome. And, the hotel is connected by a hallway to the City Center Mall, which is amazingly practical. Overall: we would be happy to return to this hotel any time. Maybe next time we can try the pool!

Their serives are excellent, the restaurants in the hotel are high level expectations you will find a various type of food you liked. The location of the hotel is strategic. There is a mall near to it, and a park.

I have been staying here for the last couple of days and I should say they have arranged one of the finest properties with access to City Centre mall from the 2nd floor of the hotel, which is very thoughtful. Regarding the staff, they were very polite and helpful, particularly Kiran from Nepal, Ola from Nigeria and all the staff that I've interacted with. Access to the airport is like 20-30 minutes. I would like to thank all the staff members for the warm hospitality.

Today, I visited this hotel for the first time and was introduced to various places. The rooms are very clean and the view is very beautiful. The restaurant was beautiful beyond words. There's no shortage of American-style bars, international restaurants, and classic cafes. The gym is fully equipped with machines, and training while looking at the beautiful scenery is special. There are pools of various sizes, and there is also a pool bar where you can enjoy shisha. I will definitely come back here. Thank you to Mr. Raja for taking the time to introduce me.

(Adding the review late, but had to add..Better late than never) I had an excellent experience staying at this hotel for 4 days in November 2021. The rooms, cleanliness, food (i only tried their buffet breakfast), customer service everything was top notch! Rooms were big, and the river-side view is amazing! Ths staffs were friendly and always willing to help. I had few requests to make during my stay, and they took care my requests quickly. The gym and the pool were nice too! The whole team should be recognized for the good work they are putting there. 👏 Keep it up! ( I wish had taken more pictures. )

All was okay until my car was returned to me by the Valet, switched to 4WD. this is unacceptable. 4wheel-drive cars shouldn't be driven if not in off-road. Now, I'm facing a hell lot of repair costs to fix my car. Just makes me think, was my car used in offroad while I left it with the valet? Why would the valet use my car besides from just parking it? If you plan to stay in this hotel, might as well Park it yourself. Don't trust the valet service with your car.

Excellent hotel. Clean and spacious rooms. The place is located adjacent to the City center mall. Access to the mall is from the 2nd floor directly into the mall. The hotel has decent dining options. However, since the place is in the heart of Corniche, there are plenty of options nearby for casual to fine dining. The only issue I found is due to the Qatar 2022 football World Cup, there is lots of construction around the area. Recommended.

Very good location, adjacent to city center, exhibition center is across the street and metro station is nearby. Facilities are okay but better to be further improved. Only 2 elevators were functional for 27 stories. Food and breakfast was okay but shall be improved. The conference rooms were very good but needs to be equipped with latest technology. Overall experience was good.

I had booked my stay here for 2days quartine, which was quite a comfortable room, clean and food was good not so great but good. Getting hotel quartine discharge certificate from them was tooo late to get so make sure to contact 16000 and check the status of it. Stay was good and comfortable with nice view 👍🏿

The Hotel is 5 stars but I can only give ‘2 stars’ on breakfast buffet, especially the noddles was EXTREMELY salty like ‘sea water’!! As noddles lover, I couldn’t even continue eating after 1st attempt. Though I tried feedback to waitress, it seemed they’ve less interest to investigate & rectify the issue. After leaving Hotel, the Supervisor called my mobile & advised that they usually test all foods before presenting to customers. Honestly, I’m not keen to visit the Hotel again with BAD experience on foods quality & below expectation of service rendered!

Selected a 5 star hotel so that can get big room for quarantine, but was disappointed by smaller room. For small issues like coffee cup n tissues had to call again & again. Apart from these rest of the service was good with a gr8 view. On my last day I discovered that I was not alone in room, there was a cockroach sharing room with me (Chk my pics ).

Boston's cafe! Loved their vibe and ambiance! The food was impeccable even though options for vegetarians are limited, great service too!!

10 Days for Quarantine, room very clean, north city, gulf and swimming pool view, meals were nice, and exactly enough, only they give one item extra, while butter and jam should be in the American breakfast menu, staff very competitive realy I enjoyed 😉 😀

I am currently in the hotel for quarantine. The room is super comfortable and spacious. I get meal 3 times a day and it's very good as well. The view outside my room is also really great. Definitely a true 5 star hotel

From first second I reach the hotel I was shocked. The one who’s in the reception was not able to understand English . The Rooms old , the tools are plastic and cartoon . The bathroom sink was blocked I had to call the maintenance middle night to come over and fix it. As rated as five stars is not at all.

Terrible, Location is great and it’s connected to the mall. However the service is a nightmare. Asked for the general manager to call, meet and or discuss my concern over 4 times and he never once attended any request. Rooms are not properly cleaned, hotel doesn’t respect check in time. Waited for 1 hour to get the room. Staff are in trained and a nightmare to deal with. Bedsheets and Towels smell disgusting. And the room wasn’t even checked before handing over. Trash can was on top of the toilet seat. toilet wasn’t cleaned. To sum up my stay, I’d give them a -1 star if I could.

Just finishing my few weeks stay here great place to stay highly recommend, any issues the staff took care of immediately, housekeeping was great as well concierge and front desk staff. I did enjoy my time in the hotel, the premises are really good, it was near to the important places In Doha; West bay, Pearl, etc. The restaurant are incredible, food so delicious. Close to the city center mall. And one of the most important things was the warmly way the staff treated me, that was so special to me, miss Marilú from guest service and the ladies in the reception took care of my staying all over the time. For sure I'll come back.

Mr Hassan in Guest Services ensured we were made to feel very welcome at the hotel & he looked after us throughout our stay. Nothing was ever too much trouble. He & the staff were always available to assist us. We were always greeted with a smile. From entering the building to using the pool facilities, to room service, maid service, lifeguards, security staff & concierge staff, even waiting at the entrance to the hotel for a taxi, we were treated so lovely by everyone & thoroughly enjoyed chatting to them. The hotel is immaculate with great facilities & is in a superb location in Doha for shopping, eating out, public transport, attractions & beaches. Highly recommend.

We’ve stayed at the Rotana City Centre several times and choose to stay there. The staff, including Manager Hassan and front desk Juliana are fantastic and nothing is too much for them. In addition the concierge David is a credit to himself and the hotel, and our room was cleaned by a towel artist! Great customer service surprise! Always a pleasure to stay at the Rotana and our loyalty rewards mean that we get to use the lounge too. Fantastic for business trips! Value for money, comfortable and centrally located.
