I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL AT ITS CURRENT CONDITION First let me clarify, i put a 1 star to reach as much people as possible and also the hotel itself. Also my stay was probably more of a 3 star rating. It wasn’t the worst hotel experience, but not a good one either. The hotel just doesn’t looks or feel like a 4-star hotel, and seems more like a 3-star hotel that got placed in a higher tier than what it is. The room smelled of cigarettes, even though i choose a non smoking room, still i was given one, but the hotel did change it for us, because of that it was a saving grace other wise it would be a true 1 star. The cleanliness isn’t that great, but good enough. The bathroom situation, was a bit shocking. The shower didn’t have a door or something to block water from going out everywhere (poorly designed). We had to request almost everything for the amenities. Like it’s really not that hard to provide everything you need for your stay. Also the speed of the service was not that great. The rooms aren’t well-kept, like it has been neglected a bit, like brown stains on the ground and wall, and some broken tiles, it needs a serious renovation. The gym and swimming pool are very small. The car parking entrance and exit are so tight that big vehicle would scratch on their way in or out. The breakfast buffet was very disappointing and not worth it, the selection was very limited, and the taste wasn’t even good. Recommendation: The hotel itself doesn’t feel like a 4 star hotel, it’s just not worth the money required for its quality, either a serious renovation to be undertaken to fix these issues or the price itself to be lowered to be a more reasonable option. Or even considering to change from a 4-star hotel to 3-star hotel, which i understand is quite a drastic choice, which probably won’t happen. Thats it and Thank you for taking time to read this.

It's one and only worst experience of hotel stay in my life. They didn't give proper response to the customers. They treat the customers with partiality. I'll recommend this hotel to all the people. Recently I stayed at there for quarantine purpose also paid money for 3 times food and room completely. But they didn't give me a food even more than 2 hours from my food ordering time. After that my check out time still they didn't provide food. It's very very worst experience ever. Please don't think about this hotel to stay. Even I'm not ready to give a single star also.

A good four star hotel close to the National Museum and Museum of Islamic Art. There was some construction work on road close to it and I had to walk all around. The room was quite convenient and comfortable (although there was no hair dryer). Other issue that during my stay (3 nights, my key card stopped working two times). The staff is polite and nice. There's a gym and swimming pool.

I would definitely stay here again. Great service and food. The rooms were clean, but the towels and tile floors needed a deeper cleaning. Overall, we had a great night's rest. Thank you, Royal Riviera Hotel for great room and shuttle service!

I booked this hotel for quarantine (21.06.2022) and when i called for the food they said they are not providing the food and again i had to call and got the food, but the food was not good, its just a rice and some vegetable curry. But we have to request them again and have to wait for long to get good food. I think they treat poorly for the people who come for quarantine. This is not a good service beacuase i paid money and they behave like we came here for free. Room is good but Iam not happy with their service especially food department

I recently had the opportunity to experience the Iftar package at Royal Riviera Hotel during the holy month of Ramadan, and unfortunately, my experience did not meet my expectations. While the food and ambiance were decent, the staff's lack of communication skills and unprofessional behavior significantly impacted the overall quality of our evening, making it even more disappointing considering the significance of the occasion. Prior to our visit, I called the hotel to confirm our booking, and I was quite taken aback by the receptionist's and restaurant staff's impolite manner of communication. Their tone and demeanor suggested that they were unhappy with their job or the hotel, which made the interaction unpleasant. This lack of professionalism set a negative tone even before we arrived at the hotel for our Iftar experience. Despite these issues, I must mention that the hotel's location and facilities were satisfactory. However, the unprofessionalism displayed by the staff overshadowed any potential positives, and it was particularly disheartening to encounter such behavior during the holy month of Ramadan. In conclusion, Royal Riviera Hotel's staff needs significant improvements in communication and professionalism to provide guests with a comfortable and enjoyable Iftar experience, especially during such a spiritually significant time. I hope that the hotel management takes these concerns seriously and works towards rectifying these issues. Until then, I cannot recommend Royal Riviera Hotel's Iftar package for anyone seeking a hassle-free dining experience during Ramadan.

For 100 riyal, they offer a VIP card that includes 1 year of pool and gym access by a agent. When I went there, they told me I could only use it once with coupon or I have to purchase something to get pool access. Eventually, I agreed to use the one-time pool offer, but then they told me that the pool is under maintenance. And it will take more than a week to fix. That's crazy. How can they sell these cards without a working pool?

I booked from 16-21 December 2022 for Final World Cup. I arrived 17 morning, and receptiont gave me room 1111. I never ask any upgraded rooms..by the time around 8 PM...the receptiont called me saying that they have move all my belongings to other room because they said that i dont belong ro Room 1111. The worst part is i put my money in an envelope and lock it in SDB but they open and remove my wallet and money it without my consent and permission....I lost my trust n safety feeling to this hotel

Helpful staff, good level of English. Buffet restaurant good but no more than that. Room was well presented and air co was good and essential on a 39C day! Bathroom shower poor with mould on the base of shower screen. Needs a deep clean. Has a shuttle bus to/from the airport. Note: The speakers on the mosque outside near the hotel. You won't need an alarm call from reception 😉

Ok hotel for one night. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The advantage is the proximity to the city center, the breakfast is correct, but the cleanliness of the bathroom is mediocre. The bed is comfortable after a 7 hour flight.

I recently stayed at The Royal Riviera Hotel Qatar, on ashort transit visits to Doha as part of the Qatar Airways STPC program which provides hotel accommodation to customers who are in transit in Doha. The hotel was extremely clean and quiet and located some minutes from the airport on the hotel shuttle. Check in was efficient and the room was large and clean. The bed was very comfortable and we were able to get some much needed sleep.

We had a Qatar Airways 24h layover here. The stay was very nice and everyone was very friendly. The room was very spacy and super clean. The food was tasty and had some local cuisine we were happy to try. We were connected to a 3h city tour, so we could get a great short impression of Doha.

Very nice, affordable price, carpets are good inside room and corridors smells gooods. A strategic location in the heart of Doha. A mini playground close to it and soon to open will boost the hotel’s capacity.

Horrible experience overall! I was allocated here due to a missed connection by Qatar Airways in Doha. Airline ensured airport pick up and drop off would be taken care of by the hotel. There was nobody from the hotel so I took a taxi. The next day I had arranged my transfer at 8am, having finally reached bed around 3am. Well, since 6:15am the front desk was calling to my room over and over, they even sent the security guy to check on my transfer, as they thought I´d leave in the 7am transfer. They obviously didn´t do a proper handover and ruined my little time of sleep tremendously. For this main reason, but also others (like location, bathroom, breakfast...) this hotel is not up to the standards of Qatar Airways.

The hotel is double booked or something, and the staff is too chilled to solve the issue. The policy says you can check in at 3, and we were there waiting for more than 2 hours for the room to be ready 🙄 😑. The room is in no way a 4-star hotel. This should be 3-star if not lower. It's way too old and has no hot water. Very disappointing experience 😞.

Had been staying in the hotel for 10 days and as my quarantine stay. The room was clean and the staff was very professional and accomodative. Hotel food is Amazing with big Portions. As a Quarantine hotel Its also recommended, 👍🏻staff most esp. the security are super welcoming. Room is big and I love the spacious bathroom, during cold months like other common hotels, the shower heater might take a bit longer to warm so make sure you open the shower a bit to flow out the cold water. All in all good hotel👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

2days hotel quarantine..Food is ok. But the service is very very bad.. hot water is not available. More than 6times i called reception regarding hot water for take bath. More than 1hr finished, still i waiting.. but no response.. this is how the management treat customers. I can’t believe this is star hotel.

I had booked a reservation for pool for 4 people. Firstly, jacuzzi was included but it wasn't working and was half broken.Nextly the pool was so cold and because it was rooftop the wind was high and it was cold.I had reserved 4 days ago but the pool wasnt warm and we had left without eating.Highly recommended to not go there as there service is very bad and pool is so small and isn't deep. We left without eating food and i can guarantee the 4 stars is a FAKE.

Nice economy hotel close to old Parton the town and close to airport. The rooms are spacious and great. They can improve the buffet sitting area though. It's small and often you have to stand if you have gone for lunch or dinner during peak hours.

5 stars for the wonderful reception service and delicious food and beverages at their cafe/ restaurant. A bit outdated, not very well maintained, shower leaking to the bathroom, overall cleanliness could definitely be improved. Some mould and limescale in the bathroom. Very strong musty/ mouldy smell when AC was on. One toothbrush, one shower towel though the room was booked for two people.

Very poor service.. Today my cousin was arrived at before 3am but until 8.30am they did not provide the room for the hotel quarantine (26.07.22) & let him to wait at lobby. When i asked the manager Mr.jonathan he told me that my cousin just arrived one hour ago.(Lied to me) My friendly suggestion is please do not book this hotel in the future...

I spend one night quarantine here. Honestly, I'm not that happy with their services, there is no designated receptionist for quarantine guest, the security guard will assist you to your room. no explanation or whatsoever. then to my surprise, for the food, there will be no option, unlike in other hotels that they provide list of food to choose from. Even i get the Lunch it's fish curry . I don't like to eat food . When i m informing the staff about the food simply they told me the Qurantine people they are providing that, Worst experience i ever faced. Really bad, I m requesting to Discover Qatar to Enquiry about this Hotel .

There are alot of construction going inside and outside the hotel. I parked my car at basement after getting approval from the manager. The security and reception would normally recommends you to park nearby the mosque. Well, it's more of a hotel for bachelor guys than a family hotel. I didn't see kids. The pool was 4 feet depth. The hotel may used to be grandeur back in the day. Now they must change or atleast repaint their furnitures. The cost for my staycation inclusive of buffet breakfast is similar to what Dusitd2 can offer. It's my first time coming to this hotel. The location is nearby museums and tourist spots. The pool is located at penthouse. The buffet breakfast is serve at marhaba restaurant in m floor. Gym, sauna and spa is on the first floor.

It was such a a horrible stay at there !!! I've choose by seeing the 4 star category, and didn't even get a treat from them at least considering I'm a guest to them, horrible food with cheap packing ( seems like they are bringing from out) A bunch of arrogant securities and staffs. zero recommendation.
