The Moroccan woman working in the spa is the reason a lot of people are never coming back to this hotel , the way she talked to me and other “guests” was shocking She was talking like she’s ready to fight she just wanted us to leave the spa as soon as possible as if she wanted to be alone inside She literally was trying to convince us that there’s nothing we can use in the spa saying that “ we don’t have jacuzzi or anything even the pool is full of kids and not clean why would you even come to this hotel when you look rich !!!!! How would anyone hire someone talking about their business in this cheap way ?? When I left she was already fighting with other customers Even one Arabic stuff in the check in desk had no sense of hospitality He was a turn off since the beginning

Kind of disappointed with the hotel after seeing some good reviews. Amazingly situated. Unfortunately we had issues with out rooms. The ac wasn't working and did turn on. The safe battery was done and nobody fixed it. The bed was quite hard and not comfortable. The toilet leaked when flushed. The room was not cleaned properly before checking in and had to ask 5 times for it to be cleaned. The trash packet was taken out of the bin and left in the room. I had out coke into the fridge to get cold and after a few hours, it was HOT!! The fridge worked the complete opposite was a fridge works. The lights were burnt out and bulbs were not replaced. After complaining numerous times, we were moved to a new room. Breakfast was good and service was impeccable. Free access to West Bay Beach with the hotel and beach towels. Pool was stunning and 100% recommend swimming. There is a 24hr Grocer close by and was extremely helpful. Views were beautiful.

Excellent place near West Bay Beach. Very calm, quiet and lovely place. The furniture is a bit old and gives you that 80’s hotels vibes but there is nothing wrong with it. It is a pretty good place for people more used to western culture and the staff is lovely and helpful. Definitely recommend!

We had a wonderful experience, every staff member I encountered they were very polite helpful rooms were clean, very comfortable the view is Fantastic and the staff was amazing especially front desk staff the Filipina & Viranya (the Thai receptionist) she is one of the best staff ever! Also chef sadik(cafezone ) the birthday cake he preapared was amazing! Thank you so much Will recommend to my colleagues.

Our stay was really Good!!! But the interior including the carpets looked bit old. But the staff was good. He gave us the preferred floor and the sea view. And also a big executive room. Enjoyed the swimming pool too.

The transit hotel experienced traveling from Boston to Kathmandu using Qatar Airways.The buffet food served for the transit passenger was good, like the hospitality. you can test different verities of food and much you can. Love the place

Besides super comfortable rooms, facilities, heavy breakfast, complimentary entry to West Bay beach 😍 Words are not enough to justify, stay was like home. Recommend ☺️

From the first step into the building, you will feel like you are home. The place is awesome worth every pinny, location, service, facilities, everything was perfect. You just need to cross the road to reach Westbay Beach and enjoy your vacation. Definitely will be my first choice for next time.

Stayed at the hotel with my wife when we went to Qatar for World Cup. We stayed in the hotel for 2 nights. The room was luxurious with sea side view. The staff was friendly and accommodated us very well. The room had all the basic facilties and hotel overall was very near and tidy. Our flight was in the evening and we wanted to check out in the afternoon but needed a place to store our baggage. The hotel people were kind enough to store it for us free of cost.

We have known this hotel for long time since the celebration of our Honeymoon in Doha. The hotel has decent rooms with breathtaking view on the Arabian Gulf just across the street. The hotel service at that time was beyond expectations and the food delivered to the room was so delicious and affordable at the same time for a 4 star rated hotel. However, our experience changed dramatically last year as we approached the hotel again for celebrating another occasion with different flavor. The misleading information given by the hall manager caused multiple inconveniences to us at the day of the event. And the most evident issue was told by the hall manager that we are going to be offered with a room couple of hours before the event to facilitate our preparations. It turned to be that we were offered upon check-in a FULL SUITE WITH SEAVIEW FOR ONE NIGHT WITH COMPLIMENTARY BREAKFAST! Of course, this was late and we could not take advantage of this privilege since we couldn't take a leave for the following day from the workplace due to this extreme late notice. Hence, we returned the keys directly after the end of the event :( The hall manager was approached several times for this and surprisingly enough rejected that wrong information conveyed to us during the reservation process, and refused to compensate us for this deserved night stay at suitable timing in the future. In addition, a message was sent through "Contact Us" on the hotel website and again was shocked that no confirmation email received telling that we received your message and will respond as soonest. Whereas, the system relied on primitive thank you message only! Do such responses are acceptable from a well known 4 STAR hotel at the heart of modernized area of Dafna?

It was a cool stay, the room is cozy, warm, spacious and well kept. The sea view is fantastic. The house keeper on the 9 floor of room 913 was very excellent and polite. I love the hotel, their food is good and their attendants and reception is warm and welcoming

Wonderful hotel Clean, roomy, Spacious rooms. The staff was very helpfull, I checked in around 1 am late at night. Requested the staff for a late checkout. They were very courteous about it and let me stay till 2 pm. Although I checked out early to explore the city. Their were no menus in my room. Else all was perfect.

Staff needs to be more polite and accommodating. Ladies at reception are observed as being over loaded with work. They need to have a better sense of hospitality. Food is simply atrocious.

Nice room and amenities. But disappointed by the attitude of the staffs over the phone to get service that they promised. Need to improve the communication standard and gratitude for the work what they are paid for. It's not acceptable to keep on calling for the room service and the reception even for a coffee powder and delivering after two hours especially in the morning time. Sorry to say this, chosing this hotel was my mistake . To the supervisors, It's 2022. Come on. Wake up ...

The place is more than wonderful, the location of the hotel is distinctive, and it overlooks the beach. The rooms are spacious, clean, tidy, and comfortable. The furniture is clean and all things are available, including a kettle, refrigerator, and bathroom tools. What is more than wonderful is the treatment of the staff at the reception, especially Viranye and Nadim. What is unique about the hotel is the free entry to the beach. All thanks to the hotel management, and God willing, I will have another visit to the same hotel

Everything was perfect until I was awoken by the drilling of the the room upstairs at 6am, i informed the operator, very kind lady, after an hour they finally managed to stop whoever is drilling. I went for breakfast and then came back to the room to catch up on some sleep. Again this guy started drilling. I left with no sleep and extremely upset.

I was stayed at this hotel for 2 days for quarantine, and.the service they provided is very appreciative. And excellent. Housekeeping staffs were very active and always available and they given perfect service. In other hand the reception staffs also very active , and its very easy to catch them. And they are call back again. If any problem me. And food they are providing for the people who is staying in hotel is good acceptable at all. Location also very excellent..

Rooms and the behavior are good. My mom is there in the hotel for quarantine for 5 days . She is a diabetic and thyroid patient . She is not getting proper food and water . She has informed them already . She is not getting enough water for drinking and diet food. I think they cook only rice and curry. It was better if they add fruits and salads

Stayed with wife and kid. Normally I don't give 5 star to any hotel very easily but the staff exceeded my expectations. Staff: The staff were prompt, polite and we're very accommodating to all our requests.The room was clean and sea facing .I did not get the name of front office reception but she was very helpful and made our stay memorable. The concierge desk too were so helpful. Location: Excellent view of sea view Room : Clean and well maintained Will definitely recommend this hotel.

It has everything we need for our stay. It’s a hotel/apartment and it is walking distance to City Center Doha. The staff are friendly and very helpful. Highly recommended.

Very much disappointed about the service and the room. When v entered that time v complaint about the AC is not working. They sent 1 man he said something blah blah and went.. Next day we are waiting to repair it.. 2 men came they told they need to cut the ceiling area to repair it and it ll take min 2 hours.. As me and my husband both are allergic to dust how can we allow them to do so. 2nd day is most horrible as my 4 years old was crying out of hunger I called them 4 times but no proper response..they r not allowing outside food to deliver atleast to the reception..Then I called and scolded them after that I got it. V paid for our food and room. They r treating as if v r staying for free. Food is also not upto expectations.. Even for water v have to call them again and again..

Everything aspect in this Hotel if fine and best. Be the Reception or Kitchen, Manager and Rooms boys and other staff, all are very well trained and conditioned for the best customer service. I can go on writing every aspect in detailed but am concerned with what is important to you, hence be free and open to immediately select your stay and dine in this Hotel.

Self vacating service: First hotel is enabling self vacating of hotel service (by customer itself need to carry everything) Any service will be available not less than 2 Hrs and they will inform you that, with in 5 min will be done. Hotel staffs are challenging customers to make an compliant. they won't bother / fear of any compliant. They run hotel with insufficient staff and no responses from reception. Poor service, Poor support, No supervisor/customer care managers. But food is excellent.

I was here in 2019, the staff was friendly, the view from the room was beautiful, the rooms were neat and clean, and the food was top notch, I was very impressed with the food from here, I had never tasted churros before (it was my first time tasting), I became interested in the cuisine of this region, indeed, I am thrilled, a wonderful experience. :)

Very horrible hotels with construction noise from the early morning. Room is not cleaned with cockroaches around the room. The service is very slow. Very bad experience and I will never stay here again.

It's not exactly luxury.. housekeeping service is not up to standard. Call them for some get extra shower gel and tooth brush but no one answered.. after requesting 3-4 times only sent it. We were on half board. So breakfast and dinner Expected buffet but they served in room. We booked for normal adult room with 2 kids. While check-in upgraded to suite room and we were happy.room is big with sitting area with double bed. My elder daughter 6 years and slept on the couch 😃 It's ok for the value. Food service is excellent and enough at all. All round I would prefer 3star raring based on my experience,,,,

Premium location with exceptional service and stay. It's close proximity to the beach and the City Center makes it a wonderful choice. My trip to Qatar was enhanced due to my stay at Retaj Al Rayyan.

It is being used as quarantine hotel. So my review is specific to the service experienced during quarantine period. Hotel is below average. Rooms are so so. Smell of cigarette in bathroom. First day I arrived there by lunch time. Called them for lunch. Then kept on calling for next 4 hours. Finally they served me lunch by supper time. Under quarantine regime the hotels are gaining irrespective of poor service.

I was attending a Technical Training with my company team mets in Retaj during Mid of July, around 4 days time(17th July to 20th July). Really its a great experiance to be this hotel for various reasons 1. Hotel Maintanence and cleanlines - Hats off 2. Food and beverages - Good quality and varities 3. Trainining rooms - well Maintained 3. Resturants - Love to try multiple times. Strong recommandation. I was asking for one dish to try for next day buffey as well. The hotel manager and Chef was accepting with whole heart and they served as best without having even small isssues. Strong recommandations to every one to try this hotel. I would like to thanks few people Mr. Issam, Yasser and his team from Hotel/Resturant Management, Maria from Business Center, Saiful, Nurul from room services. Hats off to the entire team for their wonderful support and service

Their hotel rooms were well organized as well as food was healthy and sufficient enough for each meal. And the staffs were good enough providing excellent room service. I spent 7 days of my quarantine here.

Checked in to this Hotel for a 3 day stopover, location is excellent and all the go to places are not too far away from here, you have a good choice of restaurants within a few minutes walking distance, and the access to the WBB beach is free and it is a well kept and lovely beach. Staff were always welcoming and friendly and always asked if everything was OK. I would book and stay again.

I was stayed at this hotel for 2 days for quarantine. Overall average experience. The room were ok not upto 4star standard. Also the bathtub was very small, hardly for an averaged size man to stand and take a shower. Room service very pathetic, Need to call several times for services. Call them for toothbrush but no one answered.. after requesting 3-4 times only sent it.(after 1.30hr waiting) Food was fine. Not recommended!

Ordered Pizza from their room service and got a base burnt pizza (1st image).. I was like it's ok, sometimes it happens so I reported it and asked to replace without eating the pizza and I was hopeful to get a proper pizza this time *but* to my surprise the second pizza was so thick and wasn't properly prepared. The toppings were put in the middle of pizza only.. So I left a note for chef with smiley. Staying for another 15 days so review and ratings will change based on hospitality.. 😇

The hotel itself is amazing, the staff extremely helpful, the room spacious and well equipped. But: the pool is under maintenance, so is the restaurant and you will receive your breakfast on stray in your room with dishes that have the quality of low carrier airline in economy. So overall experience for me was 'it's ok' but I gave an extra star since they really tried to make up for those issues in a very generous and friendly way which counts for me a lot

Spacious rooms with a great sea view. The staff here are pretty helpful. Check-in and check-out were butter smooth, and they have awesome facilities available in-room and within the property. It's a great deal if you want to stay in the Diplomatic area or near the waterfront in Doha.

First class and friendly staff, fantastic large room, close to beach, clean, reasonable price and upgrades when available. Far more than expected. Beats Hilton and Movenpick hands down. Highly recommended.

Didn’t feel the hospitality from the staff - more about getting the transactions done. Requested one hour late checkout and they called up to my room three times at standard checkout time. Concierge kept trying to push me out of the lobby as I was waiting for my Uber. Facilities are fine, but likely won’t stay again.

Staffs are very friendly and flexible. Freshly baked bread for breakfast was amazingly delicious. Price was very reasonable enough to enjoy your stay.

Salam, my Stay for quarantine was Ok. I never like to give negative reviews but i have to mention that skipping meals is not good. You never know whether the guest has any illness or not. Also please provide enough water daily. Guest don’t have to ask for it. Specially if paid in full in advance! Nice staff & smooth check-out.

Good value for money on a 4 star hotel. Stayed one night during world cup and it was a pleasant stay. Friendly and professional staff. I requested a late check out at 2pm and they were kind enough to extend my stay for additional couple of hours at no extra cost. Highly recommended

My friend booked me for Quarantine Package 2 day, Room Service was fair, they are responsive to the calls, The operator was not, need to call more than once to remind the service. The reception was ok, thats all i have to add, OVERALL - Average, Thank you

Location is the best part of this hotel. It's dry as in no booze so get your fix elsewhere. They do serve Red Bull at the bar so not all hope is lost. Bed was super comfy but the toilets could use an upgrade. First stayed here in 2010 and again during the World Cup, felt like traveling back in time vs other hotels in Doha.

Spacious room,excellent food, however, poor service: Room not clean at 5:00 PM, praying mat was available only after request, Big shower towels was not replaced only after request,Very long time to deliver food at room.

Excellent Hotel for Qurantine, we stayed 2 days there, the rooms were excellent (we got two joined room) which were spacious and with all the amenities. Their food was very nice as well, all the 3 times it was very delicious, even the kids were enjoying it a lot..Wonderful experience at superb cost.. We stayed there almost 2 and a half day bit they didn't put any extra charges for delays in PCR results, If you stay an extra night only then they would charge us.

Particular praise and thanks to Shaban. He welcomed us from day one and was our link to anything that we needed during our stay. The staff there were very friendly, approachable and professional. We stayed for around ten nights for the World Cup. Its location is very handy to a few beaches, to the shopping centre (CIty Center Doha), and to DECC Metro station (a 15-min walk or a short bus ride).
